Also Fari always uses, 私 aka female p.r.o.noun watas.h.i.+.
Father is Gilbert Von D'azell. Master warrior.
Some mystical power came out of me.
The power entered into my sword.
The short sword glowed, making a light sword.
In fact, the short sword actually transformed into a great sword of light.
My Papa was completely confused as I swung down my giant light sword, – – – However he snapped out of it quickly and went into a full defense.
My sword and my Papa's clashed.
A sound that I didn't expect from swords dispersed through the air.
The light sword seemed to bring a considerable force as my Papa's face distorted to struggle.
I also – – -Don't know what is happening, but I don't plan on pull back.
This mysterious light sword is definitely and unidentified force, but I now want to have my Papa acknowledge my full strength.
Now it's a fight.
I'm starting to bring out my potential.
And I want to know how much I can take it.
Then the light became stronger.
The giant blade became larger. It was reaching over two meters now as it pressured my Papa.
Papa is pus.h.i.+ng back with all his power as he started to take this seriously, however the great sword is solid and is pus.h.i.+ng in.
Then- – Papa's sword broke.
The metal sword broke into pieces. Although it was dull because it was made for mock battles, it was still st.u.r.dy.
Papa was astonished.
However, in that moment, the great sword of light hit Papa directly.
The sound of the blunt weapon hitting its target echoed. The great light sword also vanished.
I landed on the ground right after I hit Papa.
At that same time, Papa crumbled.
Pap – – collapsed.
It wasn't him going to his knees. He went unconscious.
"- -T-the match is over!"
The voice of the referee knight was heard. I could tell by his tone that he was completely shocked.
I was also surprised. I never thought I could beat Papa.
But more than that.
"Papa!!!"
I ran over to him.
A mysterious light also emanated from my body, quickening my speed.
I didn't care though, because- – – I might lose my beloved Papa.
All my regret and worries made my heart feel like it was going to be crushed.
"Papa, Papa! Wake up!"
I called out to him many times. The medics came quickly, placing my Papa on a stretcher and quickly carried him away.
I was so shocked I couldn't move.
I fell too my knees- – – I couldn't do anything, I was so filled with guilt, but all I could do was pray for my Papa's safety, as I saw him being carried away on a stretcher.
It's been a day since Papa and My battle.
Papa has regained his consciousness. Thanks to the help of healing magic
Still, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by guilt and anxiety.
Papa is so strong.
Just because I decided to take it seriously, I didn't expect to win.
And when I got to close to hitting him, it was too quick and surprising, then he went unconscious. I didn't stop it in time. . .
Why couldn't I. . .
I couldn't help but hate myself.
And hate that mysterious light power.
I wanted to strike him to win the match and push him away, but- – -the blade broke.
I never imagined that would happen, I never planned for it.
I ended up crying until Papa regained his consciousness again.
When I heard he regained consciousness again from a house maid, I flew towards his side.
"- – Papa!!!"
"Hey, Be quiet please."
There was a doctor sitting besides my Papa. Papa was lying down on a bed.
The doctor was mad at me when I came here loudly, so I covered my mouth and slowly walked into the room.
"U-um, doctor. How is my Papa?. . ."
"He is alright. He regained consciousness a little while ago, but he shouldn't be overworking himself. So for now he is just sleeping."
I felt so relieved when I heard that.
After that I decided to just hold Papa's hand while he slept.
With this hand, my hand. I almost killed with it.
Someone who was precious.
It's so wonderful that he is alive, but I feel like I committed a great sin.
All of these mixed feelings overwhelmed me, I couldn't help but be brought to tears again.
A few hours later Papa woke up.
And the first thing he said. Was something I didn't want to hear.
"Fari, you should leave this house."
I crumbled and cried once I heard that.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!. . . Even if you can't forgive me, please let me stay here until you are better! I'll do anything, so please don't tell me to leave the house-!"
I was crying while I desperately begged my dad.
Then his big hand brushed my head.
"Sorry Fari. That came out wrong. . . I couldn't get all of my words out. Forgive me my beloved daughter."
"Papa!"
I felt so much relief as my tears started to flow out again. I was then hugged by Papa's strong arms.
"Fari. I don't want you think I hate you when I say you should leave. Because I don't hate you, I love you Fari. but I just saw some great potential back there."
I don't understand what he meant so I simply tilted my head towards him.
"What you used was definitely magic."
"Magic?. . ."
I couldn't believe what he was saying.
Magic? It's a force that is universally present in fantasy.
It's a talent that often blooms at a very young age.
Because it's easily detected, adults will take notice.
Especially because I'm in a n.o.ble family.
However I have never been told that much about it.
In fact, I've never used magic before.
But Papa says I used power.
– – -It only makes sense if that weird light power was magic.
"Fari. Perhaps some of your latent powers came out in the middle of that fight. It was powerful. It was so great that it drove me to the brink of death in a single shot."
My body trembled when I heard that. It's still horrible. The fact that I almost killed Papa is horrible.
"Your power may eventually rival that of what they call a hero. I felt some of that latent talent in that battle. . .It's regrettable, but if you stay here that latent ability will just go untapped and decay."
I finally understood what Papa was saying.
I am also a daughter of the D'azell family. I understand that a person with power is in high demand.
"Therefore Fari. You have to leave this house. You'll have to leave our territory and head to the royal capital. There you'll enter the Hunter's Academy and study there."
Those words came out of Papa's mouth.
Hiya, sorry about that slight delay. I actually finished these like 2 days ago, but I got extremely busy yesterday and busy around the end of the day before that. Also Papa got smashed.
Here is the STRAW POLL LINK .
I don't expect that many people to actually vote, but I would really appreciate to hear your thoughts on it. Obviously the more chapters increase the time to wait. so 1 chapter= 1 or 2 day wait, 2 chapter= 2 or 3, 3 chapters = 2,3 or 4 days. I'm mostly just curious, I feel like 3 would really depend on if it ends on a cliff hanger though.
Next chapter depends on the straw poll honestly, and I might want to work a bit on the “Yuri sister” thing, even though I still have mixed feelings. Oh also, I might be busy these next few days.
