77 To The Round Table?

"My lady," I said as stood up straight.

"GRAY is it?"She greeted me. "I've heard many good things from Selene. It's been a long time since I met someone so young. Come and sit."

"Thank you for seeing me," I adjusted my stance and approach her.

Taking my time to take her hand smiling sweetly, being polite was drill into me. Leaning over I kissed over her moonstone ring and sat down. It really was an honor to meet her, a lady from humble beginning choosing to make a difference. She was so different and so lovely.

Her tinkling laugh grated on my ears, she was a beauty. I pull myself together and gave her my best fake smile I really didn't feel happy looking at such a beautiful person.

"A pleasure," she said her eyes twinkling.

"The pleasure is mine, my lady of the lake. It is an honor to meet," I said knowing that it was true, "You are truly a sight to behold."

"Lovely my dear,"

There was a paused.

"You know my aunts?" I asked curiously,

"Yes, I use to be their keeper. Since you were born, I've always wanted to meet you but your aunts were against it," the lady smiled, "they thought you weren't ready. I can't believe I listen to them. You are ready so calm and collected, so perfect and reliable."

"Interesting," I said noticing, six more Knights materialized by her side.

Blocking any path I could have attacked her as if I would harm her. I rolled my eyes, not sure what they were expecting but they should know that I didn't have a lot of active magic and I wasn't suicidal. They should cut the act it was getting boring and annoying. I do not wish to harm friends of my aunts, I would not have gotten away with it, I mean there wasn't even time to run with them and most importantly I am a witch, I can't kill.

The lady was different than I expected. I didn't know who or what I was expecting but it was this kind and nice soothing person was not the person I thought I would see.

"Selene said it was important; you see me today."

"It is. I am here for guidance."

"Isn't everyone?" she asked gently, "there is more to this problem than you know and more than I can tell you."

"About the crime happening?"

I truly was flabbergasted that she was willing to share. Talking to my aunts was impossible but with her, it was given freely. I relished at the open and happy feeling that was bubbling inside me. I've never felt this accepted before.
