The Feratu walked away from the Campus unable to understand the people within, he had presented himself as an enemy but they instead had congratulated him for his display and wished him to grow more powerful. He may have been gratified if he had actually achieved the feat of which they were congratulating him but he hadn't and thus he was disappointed by their way of handling things.
Surely with that many people present they would have taken the risk and fought. However that wasn't the case the pure insanity of handling things in the way that they had brought Draig a sense of immense confusion. Trying to understand it had only caused him more of a headache thus he had left lest he hear more of their bizzare words.
Though unknown to him the Disciplinary Committee had heard of his exploits as of late, this had caused them some anger as this was seen as Draig slapping them in the face when they had given him a pa.s.s.
"That little b.a.s.t.a.r.d. . . ." Growled Hana slamming her hands on a table.
The building they were in was their headquarters where they housed all of their faction's simultaneously, this was one of the Major Powers known as the Disciplinary alliance. It had become a Major power due to the fact it had a greater number of Deva within its ranks and the fact that many of their member were those depraved individuals who had scrounged through the Deva Academy hoping to come across an opportune opponent like a pack of rabid wolves.
That is not to say that physically their members were more powerful but that their overwhelming number had a larger part to play in them being a major power. Looking around the room you could see the remaining members of the Disciplinary besides Hana including Boru.
"Hana, we should have ganged up and fought that little s.h.i.+t when we had the chance. Now we are becoming a laughing stock while his reputation and prestige grows by the day." commented the youth with a widened smile due to his cheeks being sliced.
"You think I am not aware of that, if we had stopped him at that time maybe we would have been injured but he would have definitely been worse off than any of us." Hana froze after a moment seemingly coming up with a thought in the process of her rant.
". . . . . However maybe this is an opportunity of its own making." started Hana causing those around the room to become confused by what she meant, though it seemed Boru had caught on to what she was saying.
"What do you mean Hana, what do you have cooking in that wicked little head of yours" asked Splice mouth.
"Shut it Splice and let me speak. . . . Now bare with me but since his prestige has risen wouldn't allow us more benefit if we were to take him out now than when he was just some no name upstart." explained Hana causing those in the room to widen their eyes as a dark grin made it's way to their faces.
"So your saying it is better to take him down now that he has grown in order to grow our own reputation. . . . . . . . Brilliant . . . . . Truly Brilliant." chuckled a chubby looking man off to the side opposite of Splice mouth.
Hana smiled at the praise before looking at the group before her and speaking the next part of the plan in order for it to work as she wanted.
"However if we wish to reap the most benefits it can only be one of us that attacks him, though this time it won't be out of place to use your factions since the rumor mill reports that he too has developed a Faction under him" stated Hana causing the group to look at her with a bit of doubt.
She stared at these supposedly depraved individuals who seemed to be twiddling their thumbs nervously.
'Alright since they want to do it this way. . . .' thought Hana as she smiled deviously.
"I say we put it to a vote, those in favor of Splice going raise your hands. . . ." called Hana suddenly which received a unanimous vote rather instantly as the other seven raised their hands with Hana meaning that their was no need to vote against another person.
Splice mouth looked up in shock at having been the fall guy again, he knew he was the weakest of the group after Tsukuba since Boru's recent advancement but he didn't think it would fall to this situation so soon, this was how Tsukuba had ended up doing the toll runs which had started the events leading to his death.
"Its decided Splice you and your faction will have the honor of taking down that pesky upstart, we have great faith that you will succeed. . . . . because if you do not succeed then that means the upstart has killed and either a.s.similated or eliminated your faction" stated Hana causing the others at the table besides Boru to begin laughing.
Splice looked at the group and begrudgingly went to gather his people and plot on how best to eliminate the one known as Draig.
Meanwhile Draig was sleeping soundly unaware of the happenings outside the Dorm at the Unaffiliated training grounds.
Furious fighting was taking place as lightning fast sword strikes were causing the area to sound like a whirring machine of death, the people inside were sweating heavily and their battered bodies displayed the proof of their effort in trying to grow stronger.
Suddenly someone released a burst of power as their opponent was blasted into another sparring pair causing those around them to look towards the lucky girl.
"I - I did it, I fully Manifested my Avatar. . ." Cheered the girl as she looked at the Unicorn above her with a terrifyingly sharp horn.
"Behold proof of our leader's words, the first of us has fully manifested. We must fight harder, we must be baptized in the blood of our comrades if that is what it takes. We must Manifest" roared a determined looking youth with Dark hair his body was covered in laceration but that only seemed to encourage him further.
'Oh the Draig can you see, by the Blade we die. Oh so proudly we swing, til our enemies are bleeding. And by your Materialization's great Scare, blood spraying mid air. . .' thought the youth with a fanatical look.
