Chapter 138 - Crashing Classes Pt 2

Draig had retired to his room after the shocking display the Ginji had done, he had really expected the man to just sit at the side while he did a little bit of scaring for amus.e.m.e.nt. Instead the Grave Forger had called out an entire school of Deva that had been getting real training since the founding of that particular campus. It was a suicidal act for him to continue to remain there, with that in mind he would sneak out by himself and do the same thing at a different campus though hopefully with a bit more fun to have this time.

At the thought of something that would be far more humorous Draig began thinking intently.

'What if I go inside and start a raucus. . . . . . . act as if I'm losing then right when they think they have me in a corner transform and scare them silly. . . . . .' plotted Draig as he silently left the Dorm and sought out another campus.

However news travels fast in the Deva Academy as the Unaffiliates had heard of Draig's actions the previous day along with Ginji's message which had not been part of the plan but that was unknown to them. The idea of one of their fellow Unaffiliates cras.h.i.+ng one of the Affiliated campus had them raging with determination and self worth, since this founding of Campuses within the Deva Academy the Unaffiliated had been the whipping boys so to speak and had dealt with the harsh remarks and actions of those that were affiliated.

However hearing of Draig's endeavor and his supposed Faction they couldn't help but feel the need to rally behind this strong person but alas they weren't aware of the fact that Draig had only been intending to have a little fun not start a d.a.m.n revolution.

The Feratu at this time was walking casually with his Rapier in hand as he neared another Campus though it seemed his actions from the day before had caused a bit of trepidation among the Campuses and their occupants as this gate held four guards.

"You Draig, the leader of that new Faction" called one of the Guards looking at the Feratu suspiciously.

"What if I am. . . ." grinned Draig causing the four youth's to tense up and draw their weapons, one of them happened to be an Archer it seemed.

It was truly boggling to Draig that for an Occupation known for it's sword users there would be so many non sword weapons.

"Then you will fall . . . . . Everyone charge" roared the apparent leader of the little troupe as Draig smirked.

"Seems like today is a bit more interesting than yesterday. . . Hope it stays that way" muttered Draig as he sheathed his Rapier and reached into his coat and let a rain of Talismans blow carelessly in a storm of paper drifting towards the Deva.

"Keep your eyes on him, he's trying to distract us. ." roared the leader of the Guard troupe but he was wrong.

"Let's watch the fireworks. . . ." called Draig ominously causing the Guards confusion.

This was something that wasn't quite so reliant on Draig's physical ability as much as his Mana power which was quite high even by the Former Worlds standards. This would prove quite detrimental to the delicate minds of those within the campus as in the next moment after the mighty battle yells they saw an eruption of colors and elements ignite followed by a soundwave that rocked the very foundation of their building.

"What the h.e.l.l is this guy" Screamed a random Deva from inside the building the size of the blast having all of them shaking in fear of what was to come through the gates.

They had heard the rumor that he had reached Materialization but the fact that the blast was able to be that big promised it to be fact but it only did more to frighten them when he stepped through the gates in his regular appearance.

Unknown to him this was a show of an even level of Mastery, those who had been receiving the proper education to become Deva saw this and nearly frothed at the mouth. Draig who was about to start picking fights as compared to his previous encounter was rather disappointed when a few representatives stepped forward.

"You are the one they call Draig, yes?" asked an elegant looking man he seemed to be the leader of the group if the way the others stood behind him were anything to go by.

"I am. . . ." answered Draig not really expecting this type of response, it was quite different from how he intended which was odd considering he was usually quite on point with these kinds of things.

"Very good, then let me speak. We are aware that you are quite excited by your new found mastery over your path and Avatar, we applaud someone like you rising above your situation to achieve something grand. We understand your want for recognition because of this, it is normal for anyone who has gone another step in their path to becoming a Deva but this is not the way to go about it." started the man pausing to see Draig's response.

The Feratu looked at the man dumbfounded, how could he remain so amicable when he had just blown through the gates of their Academy like some kind of madman. It wasn't normal, if he had done this in the previous world then he would have received a proper response but these people didn't seem to want to fight.

Seeing Draig's look of confusion the man a.s.sumed it was because of his failure to elaborate the point of his words.

"My apologies. As I said we applaud your advancement and respect you for it due to your lack of material and resources but this isn't the proper way to use such immense power especially after having only recently achieved Materialization. We too are hoping to achieve such feats as you and would like the peace in which to do that, that being said I would like to ask you on behalf of the Academy to do no further harm and allow us to study in peace. This will prove beneficial to you as well as it will be better use of your time to stabilize your new found powers which will then allow you greater control over the abilities you are so eager to display." explained the man which had only served to further his confusion.

'They want me to go and increase my power, what kind of response is that to an enemy barging through your gates. . . . Are they mad?' wondered the Feratu as he didn't bother to continue and just turned around lest he catch what ever mental disease this person seemed to possess.

Seeing that Draig had seemed to acknowledge his logic the person smiled and turned to the rest of the Student body.

"This is why our empire has managed to stand for so long without the need for battle, behold the power of our glorious diplomacy" called the man getting a round of cheers for his trouble.
