Her tense conditions made the first reaction and Xia Mo bent down to collect the corpses of the 3 porcupines and with her fastest speed, she climbed up a tree and hid at the top.

Just as she had camouflaged herself, she heard a distinct footstep walking towards her direction. Xia Mo listened carefully and the footsteps sounded like there were 2 people and they were quite flustered and running aimlessly.

"Hurry up, there are more trees here, we can hide here." A voice spoke out. It sounded like he was panting quite hard and exhausted. After that, there was another set of footsteps that followed closely.

Xia Mo frowned, and checked that she was very well hidden and that she had controlled her breathing, so people below her would not notice her. She slowly lifted some lifts in front of her to see 2 youngsters hiding below her.

They wore the same starter clothes and barefooted. She could not see how old they were, but felt that they were quite young.

"Older brother, I feel that we are safe here." This voice sounded like the one she heard earlier but a bit younger. But his current voice was filled with fear and tensed up, and it look liked he might faint due to all the pressure.

"Yup," said the other voice. The older brother held the younger one in his chest to give him a safe hug. However, the hug is not too assuring as based on Xia Mo's view, the younger one is still shivering uncontrollably.

It looked like most of the players have realized what happened. Those with strong determination had started to fight for survival.

Before the older brother could answer, there was a loud voice from afar mixed with some screams.

The scream filled the peaceful grassland, as though a sharp blade has cut through the surface of the glass. The sharp sound could make one's hair stand. It had affected Xia Mo, but it was more reflected in the brothers that were below her. She had no concern about how deep the relationship between the brothers were, as she looked in the direction of where the sound came from.

"Older brother, isn't the big guy coming?!" the younger brother voice trembled but still lowered his voice. And hug his brother even tighter while shaking in fear.

It looked like the brothers have met the big sized guy in the starter village, and managed to escape from him. Xia Mo noticed that based on how the man swung the plank, it was currently impossible for new players at this stage.

Based on the saying if you can understand the enemy, you would have a chance to compare with your own strength, so you could have a higher chance to survive.
