All of Shrek’s Seven Monsters were currently gathered beside Tang Wulin, and they all had tears flowing down their faces.

The ones who were most saddened were Xie Xie and Xu Xiaoyan, who had known Wu Zhangkong the longest alongside Tang Wulin and thus shared the closest bond with him.

Never did they think that their Teacher Wu would transform into an ice statue someday. He had been with them just a moment ago, yet now, they were eternally separated.

"Wulin." Right at this moment, a hoarse voice rang out, and Tang Wulin turned to discover Tang Yinmeng approaching him with Zheng Yiran in accompaniment.

"My condolences, Senior Martial Sister." He didn't know what to say to console Tang Yinmeng as he was struggling to console even himself.

Tang Wulin took a deep breath, seemingly to compose herself, then continued, "They're plotting something, Wulin. Right before Brother Lan passed away, he transmitted a message to me. The abyssal sovereign that he was facing had revealed some information to him, and even though he didn't manage to find out their entire plan, he still asked me to give you this warning."

Tang Wulin's heart jolted slightly upon hearing this. He could see that Lan Muzi had been desperately trying to communicate something to the outside world during his battle, but the Sage Sovereign had cut him off every time.

Tang Yinmeng continued, "That abyssal creature thinks he stopped Brother Lan from communicating with us, but he didn't know that we have a special communication method. Brother Lan has a saber technique that can allow him to send messages, and it's normally only something he'd do when we're bored together, but in his final moments, he used the technique to send me a message."

Tang Wulin was very surprised to hear this. "What did the message say?"

Tang Yinmeng took another moment to compose herself before replying, "Due to the limited time, Brother Lan wasn't able to communicate much, but from what I could gather, there's some kind of plot brewing behind this bet, and there's a very good chance that even Demon Sovereign is unaware of this. Like I said, he wasn't able to find out exactly what the plot is, but it sounds like the demise of all of these abyssal rulers isn't actually a bad thing for the abyssal plane. Also, that opponent of his most likely isn't dead."

Tang Wulin nodded slowly upon hearing this. "Thank you, Senior Disciple Sister."

This was information that Lan Muzi had obtained in exchange for his life.

For Shrek Academy, this battle had inflicted far too many losses upon them. However, at this moment, Tang Wulin was more determined than ever.

Elder Long, Mother, Teacher Wu, Senior Disciple Brother, your deaths won't be in vain. No matter what happens, I'll lead everyone to victory. No matter what they're planning, we'll be sure to crush them; I guarantee you that! 

Tang Wulin tightened his grip around his Golden Dragon Spear, and in that instant, his eyes had turned completely golden.

"Boom!"

Right at this moment, the final grid exploded amid an earth-shattering boom, and Harosha's body exploded into smithereens amid the thunderous commotion.

Following an eruption of grey light, Qiangu Dieting was revealed, and he was missing his right arm and right leg.

In fact, the entire right half of his body had completely atrophied, and there wasn't any blood flowing out of his wounds.

Finally, the final grid had been shattered, and Qiangu Dieting was the one left standing.

Even though he had only barely emerged with his life, he was still hovering in the sky in a resolute manner.

That's right, he had defeated and slain Harosha. Even though he had also suffered grievous injuries, that was only to be expected when killing a quasigod of Harosha's caliber.

He was still holding his Coiling Dragon Staff in his left hand, and his back was as straight and unyielding as ever.

Even though he had once been an enemy of Shrek Academy, everyone from Shrek Academy couldn't help but feel a hint of genuine admiration toward him.

Through his actions, he had shown everyone that the Spirit Pagoda hadn't folded, and that he was still protecting the pride of the Qiangu Family.

Thus, the human camp had secured victory once again, and all nine of their opponents had been killed.

However, the human camp had also lost four important members, namely Yali, Lan Muzi, Wu Zhangkong, and Qiangu Dongfeng.

Furthermore, Qiangu Dieting was severely wounded, so essentially, only four and a half members of the human camp had survived.

Thus far, the human army had won two consecutive matches, losing four Limit Douluos in addition to Lan Muzi and Wu Zhangkong in the process, but the losses inflicted upon the Holy Spirit Cult and the abyssal plane were even heavier.

Aside from Demon Sovereign, all of the Holy Spirit Cult's most powerful beings had perished.

At this point, Demon Sovereign's expression had already darkened significantly. She had already predicted that the second match would end quite badly, but she didn't think that it would be this bad.

At the very least, she had thought that Ghost Emperor would've defeated Yali, then perhaps taken down another enemy Limit Douluo with him.

Of course, she hadn't anticipated that Shrek Academy would bring out so many Limit Douluos for this match. She had thought that Shrek Academy would save all of its most powerful Limit Douluos for the final match against her, in which case she would still be under a significant amount of pressure.

Thus, she was the only one left among the sovereign, two emperors, and four heavenly monarchs of the Holy Spirit Cult. Everyone else had perished, and the abyssal plane had also suffered extremely heavy losses.

Ever since the demise of the Spirit Sovereign, over 20 abyssal rulers had been slain thus far, and all of their abyssal levels had also collapsed, significantly weakening the entire abyssal plane.

Among these fallen abyssal rulers were five abyssal sovereigns, namely the Spirit Sovereign, Sage Sovereign, the Transformation Sovereign, the Black Sovereign, and the Hornet Sovereign; that was half of all of the abyssal sovereigns!

It could be said that if the Holy Lord weren't taken into account, then over a third of the entire abyssal plane's power had already been eradicated.

With the deaths of the abyssal rulers, close to half of the entire abyssal army had also vanished, and a massive amount of abyssal energy had been devoured by Tang Wulin's Golden Dragon Spear and Gu Yuena's Silver Dragon Spear, all of which had been converted into life energy.

From an objective point of view, the human army had definitely gained the absolute upper hand.

Next, the most important match was about to commence.

The final outcome of the entire battle could very likely hinge upon whether Tang Wulin, Gu Yuena, and Shrek’s Six Monsters could defeat Demon Sovereign.

Tang Wulin slowly raised his head, and a sense of anticipation that he hadn't felt for a very long time welled up in his heart.

He cast his gaze toward Demon Sovereign, and all of a sudden, he threw his head back before releasing a deafening dragon's roar.
