"That's an adamant.i.te broadsword!"

only the person  that sat on the throne narrowed his eyes slightly before he eventually shock his head and spoke out

"Erio, you and the rest of the numbers may do as you want with the boardsword if you can kill this intruder"

Erio turned her back to Mars and kneeled down on one knee before she spoke respectfully to the emperor

"Understood you excency"

Mars watched her and as he did his smile widened slightly before he swung the boardsword around and stabbed it into the floor, the broadsword pa.s.sed through the marble floor like a hot knife through b.u.t.ter before he spoke out

"Stop me if you can"

Then he proceeded to walk towards the emperor slowly, Erio gave a look of disdain and called out

"Ingo, play with him"

"Aye aye captain"

A young elf that looked to be the same age as Mars stepped forwards, he raised his mace before he disappeared from view, the very next instance a loud boom was heard as Ingo had appeared right behind Mars and slammed his mace down, however the result was not as the numbers had expected as the mace shattered into tiny pieces as it hit a energy s.h.i.+eld around Mars that kept walking forwards without even batting an eye, Erio semed undisturbed and spoke

"Kelvin!"

"Yes captain!"

A mage like beastman stepped forwards and snapped his finger as he instantly formed a spell which seemed the be a compressed air ball before he shoot it at Mars

*BANG!*

But alas it also harmlessly failed to break the energy s.h.i.+eld around Mars, Erio narrowed her eyes before she spoke

"Riuk keep him from moving"

"Yes captain!"

An old frail looking man stepped forwards and kicked the ground which shattered the marble under him into pieces before he appeared in front of Mars and punched out, a dull bang sounded out as his fist hit the energy s.h.i.+eld, the s.h.i.+eld waved slightly as The old man kept trying to push it back but Mars just kept walking in the same pace pus.h.i.+ng back the old man, one of the numbers called out to Erio

"Captain, at this rate..."

"I know, just get him!"

The remaining numbers all jumped on Mars, unleas.h.i.+ng various devastating attacks, but none really seemed to do anything to Mars that just kept walking forwards slowly and steadily, when he was 15 meters from the throne they were calm, but when he was only 5 meters from it after half a minute the numbers were beginning to panic, but then Mars stopped and spoke

"All these flies buzzing around is annoying...."

Then he snapped his fingers and the numbers suddenly all froze in place, then Mars opened his hand and a dagger of pure light was formed before he walked over in front of Erio and spoke

"You're the captain right? In that case you can be responsible"

then he looked up at the emperor and while locking eyes with him Mars stabbed the knife into Erio's stomach which made her scream out in pain, Mars slowly sank the knife deeper and deeper into her stomach which gradually made her scream higher and higher  until the emperor stood up and yelled

"Stop!"

Mars paused but only for a moment before he spoke

"No I don't think I will, not unless you ask the right question, relax you have plenty of time, after all there's 4...8.. 10 of them in total, I'll gut them all before I touch you"

"Just tell me what you want!?"

"That's not the right question"

Mars continued with the dagger ever so slowly until the emperor yelled

"Who are you!?"

Mars gave a smile and let go of the dagger leaving it in Erio's stomach

"That's the right question... I am Mars, living G.o.d of energy and governor of Ular"

"Living... G.o.d..!?"

The emperor looked terrified all of a sudden but he quickly showed why he was emperor as he quickly calmed down and asked

"...What has the NNE done to insult a living G.o.d?"

"Well small things you know... Oh that's right there was that army that came promising death and destruction to all of Ular... Oh right there was also the second army that did the same... Oh right there were also the spies that slandered my name and tried to destabilize my city... Oh rigth then there was that diplomat from the NNE that ARROGANTLY DEMANED f.u.c.kING COMPESTATION FOR WIPING OUT YOUR AMRIES!"

The emperor was taken aback before he rose from his throne and walked forwards and kneeled down in front of Mars, as he was down on both knees he spoke

"Take my life if it will appease your anger..."

Mars thought for a moment before he shook his head before he spoke

"You'll not get off that easy... No I'll kill the diplomat in Ular to vent my anger, but you have to appear personally in my city within 30 days to officially end the war, or rather give up the greedy ambitious your empire have about my wealth and my city"

The emperor lowered his head and spoke out

"Yes..."

Mars gave a sigh and walked over to Erio and pulled out the dagger from her stomach before he patted her on the shoulder

"You put up a good fight... Be proud of that"

Then he disappeared in a flash of light, as he did the numbers regained their ability to move... Mars reappeared in his bedroom in Ular where he promptly collapsed on the bed and pa.s.sed out...

"Mars... Wake up"

Mars felt a voice drawing him from the abyss, but alas he resisted and turned over in an attempt to remain in nothingness, but it seemed that the voice had other plans

"Mars! Wake up!"

Mars felt his body being shaken and let out a goarn before he slowly opened his eyes and saw the familiar ceiling before a pair of ears popped into his view, in fact there were 2 pairs of ears and a set of horns all squeezed into one petty face and then there were the triangle shaped pupils 

"...78?"

78 showed a smile before her face neared and she planted a kiss on Mars' forehead before she pulled back and spoke in her usual bright voice

"Morning sleepyhead"

"...How long have I slept?"

"Almost 3 days"

"I see... Guess teleporting is still too much of a strain on me..."

Mars sat up before he suddenly felt a headache coming on as he knew his work would have piled up and let out another goarn before he gave a smile and asked 78

"Have the emperor of the NNE arrived yet?"

"No, are we expecting him?"

"Yeah... Well he still has 27 days left to come by... But he should be here within a week, at least that's what my gut feeling tells me"

"Oh... I see, then I'll inform the head maid to prepare the best guest room we have"

"Okay, thanks"

Mars gave 78 a quick kiss before he got up from the bed and stretched, then his stomach rumbled and he gave a wry smile

"Guess I should eat something first... What time is it?"

"It's morning Mars"

"Okay, then I'll eat in the hall... Want to join me 78?"

"Sure!"

Mars and 78 walked hand in hand to the mess hall and got some food in them before they split up as they both had work to do, Mars went to his office and began working on the doc.u.ments that had piled up during his 3 day rest, while he was working someone knocked on the door to his office

"Come in"

Jane opened the door and walked in carrying more doc.u.ments which made Mars give a sigh before he asked her

"Has anything changed during my rest?"

"Well there's still that diplomat eager to see you, he has been hara.s.sing the maids ever since he arrived so I would like you to do something about him quickly..."

"Oh him... Have him executed"

"What?"

"You heard me, have him executed"

"But the NNE will---"

"It's fine, I had a chat with the emperor of the NNE a few days ago, he will personally come here and settle the whole affair"

"...I see, then I will carry out your orders at once"

"You seem eager to get rid of him?"

Jane gave a cold smile and a nod

"You want to know the first thing he said when he saw me?"

"Sure?"

"He said 'you'll do fine, come to my chambers tonight'"

"...I see, well then torturte him first if you feel like it"

Jane kneeled down and spoke

"Yes lord Mars"

Mars watched as Jane left and gave another sigh, he could imagine the pitiful end of the diplomat now that he had p.i.s.sed of Jane and his own emperor had abandoned him

"Oh well I guess you reap what you sow"
