Mei-Xing was petrified.

"Lotus, What happened? Why are you doing this to yourself? Look at yourself! This is not you." Mei-Xing politely asked her sister, worried if their parents know about her behavior they will be highly disappointed. Especially her mother, who taught them, it's ok to be weak but it's definitely not ok to stay vulnerable.

"Ha..." Mei Lein laughed dryly seeing her anxious look. "You're right! this is not me...it's you!" she said as her hands tightening around the edge of the coat covering her shoulders which were longer than her mini dress, revealing her upper thighs.

Mei-Xing discreetly sized up the girl. She's right! Her hair color, style, eyes everything matched with her usual party style except for the dressing form she was wearing.

Now, she realizes why Mei Lein scares the h.e.l.l out of Zhang Han. If Mei Lein wants, she can easily trick anyone. Even their mother won't be able to identify the difference between them.

Is she trying to slander me, by doing this? Useless!

Getting a headache, Mei Xing rubbed her temples while controlling herself not to burst out on her in the pit of anger.

Obvio, She's drunk! It's of no use to debate with her now.

"Go to your room. I don't think we can talk now." Helplessly, Mei-Xing turned around towards her room. As Mei Lein saw her leave, and she couldn't stop herself from replenis.h.i.+ng her inner emotion. She expected Mei-Xing to scold her or shout at her.

'She also takes me for granted just like him?' Her fist balled up at Mei Xing's casual att.i.tude.

Her voice trembling and low as it increased ferociously. "Why? Mei-Xing, Why...? Why does he loves you and not me? Why is the one he wants... is you... not me? why. not. me?"

Mei-Xing grasps, her eyes wide in another blow of shock. She didn't take much time to realize who Mei Lein is talking about as she slowly turned around. Her legs rooted in place seeing Mei Lein's tears rolling down nonstop as her chest was angrily heaving up and down.

Then resolutely, Mei Lein brushed off her tears with both hands. She was done hiding her feelings, suffering alone as every time she imagines them staying together, going on dates, having fun, kissing and doing what a couple does in a relations.h.i.+p, her heart breaks into millions of pieces. It hurts...it hurts so badly. It hurts to think about the man she loves loving another woman. She tastes death every second thinking about it as she couldn't do anything. She tried giving up but failed. She attempts fighting but again failed. Her first love or maybe her only love was right in front of her and she was helpless. She can't take it anymore. If not now...she won't be able to admit her true sentiments towards Mei Xing ever again.

"Y-You are a trickster. I don't like you. I. HATE.YOU.b.i.t.c.h. I f.u.c.king hate you, Mei-Xing. You heard that I hate you." she cried loudly.

Dumfounded, Mei-Xing remained silent although Mei Lein's every word, her each drop of tear is like fuel added to the fire burning in her chest. She can feel the intensity of her hatred. Mei Lein's emotions were so striking as if she wished to burn her into ashes.

"You know why... I hate you so much?" Mei Lein slowly asks rhetorically. "Because the man I love is crazy for you. He's so madly in love with you that he can't see anyone else. Argh...He's blindly in love with you." she began to walk towards Mei-Xing. Everything was unusual, her body was emitting the rage her eyes held. That emotion equally stronger to love but not love.

" Do you know... what's so special about you, that the handsome guy I met in the bar...thought I was actually you. Xiao Xing, How many guys did you trick? And why all of them are, so d.a.m.n handsome, huh? What tricks do you use?" she laughed mockingly as steps in front of Mei-Xing.

Standing like a calm ocean, Mei-Xing didn't step back allowing her blaze to burn her rationality. Her words did strike Mei Xing's gut. But she couldn't lose herself in this everlasting bitterness.

"This, exactly... this is why?" Mei Lein put her finger on Mei Xing's chest where her heart was beating in a melody. But her voice getting weak and feeble. "Your heart and soul. We are identical but still, you look more beautiful when you smile..." she choked on her own words and couldn't complete it. '...with all of your heart." Her eyes fluttered as she remembered it was, one of the reasons, back then she also loved her sister. Mei Xing's smile literally lights up her days when they were just kids. But there's no way going back to those days. As now that smile brings the darkness engulfing her world.

Like a curse.

Mei Lein gritted her teeth. Her eyes held determination. "Mei-Xing, I hate you. You'll never feel the pain I have when you're loved by everyone. I wished for your death. I curse you to die. And I swear I won't shed a single drop of tear on your death. In your next life, I wish to be there to see you suffer as much as I did. Then you'll know, how it feels to love a man who doesn't love you back. No matter, if you ripped your heart for him still he won't give the love you deserve. Your love will be right in front of you but you won't be able to touch him..."

"Enough! Shut your bulls.h.i.+t and don't force me to slap some sense into you. Are you mad? Did you hear what you just said now? It's pathetic...Who taught you that?" Running out of patience, Mei-Xing grabbed her hand and fiercely dragged her into the room with no mercy. This time Mei Lein didn't resist her strength, her head hung down. She didn't feel any better even after venting her anger.

Mei-Xing shoved her into the bathroom as Mei Lein stood there leaning against the wall.

"Wash yourself, you stink! If you don't move then don't blame me for calling Mom and Dad." Immediately, Mei Lein's whole body jolted up as soon as she heard her and she began to proceed. "Good, You're not that drunk."

Their mother is very strict and she doesn't tolerate bad behavior.

Just as Mei Lein remove the coat over her body, Mei-Xing saw the purplish and little yellow marks on her skin. She looks horrible.

"Oh, my G.o.d! Who did this to you? I'm gonna kill that b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"

Void of any emotions Mei Lein said lifelessly. "I'm getting married!" and 'Bang' she loudly slammed the door on her face.

"W-What? Are you f.u.c.king kidding me? d.a.m.n you, Mei Lein! You could have punched my face rather than saying those horrible words."
