Chapter 2492 Final Sanctum

Chapter 2492 Final Sanctum

My strings dug up the roots of a group of plants quickly and packed them up; this time, we have got an even number of resources. So, half of them went to her while the other half went to me; I only got a half despite doing most of the work.

"That one," I said, motioning toward the plant; Sarah went toward it without saying anything and touched its invisible protection with her gloved hand.

Hun!

She had touched it and waited for the formation to come out when I sensed something which immediately changed my expression. A fraction of a moment later, Sarah had also sensed it, and a look of horror couldn't help but appear on her face.

A vine with a sharp mouth was coming at her with incredible speed that Sarah did not even think about dodging and put all her power into the defensive methods, which formed a small domain around her while her metal wings wrapped her around.

Even with such powerful defenses, she did not know whether she would survive or not, considering one of the most powerful dangers of the garden had finally attacked; it possesses the power of the High Grandmaster.

Pach Pach Pach

The vine took a fraction of seconds to appear and began to tear her defenses like paper; in front of the vine, they did not put up any defenses at all.

They broke apart the moment vine had contacted them and seeing that horror on Sarah's face couldn't help but deepen.

BANNNG!

She was sure she was going to die when suddenly the vine hit something invisible and stopped while my s.h.i.+elds became visible, s.h.i.+ning brightly with the power of the attack that came at them.

The vine stopped by my s.h.i.+elds, and just as quickly as it appeared, it had disappeared. That surprised me, as, given her power, I thought it would try to attack my s.h.i.+elds consistently, but it seemed like the plant was quite smart.

To be honest, I wanted it to keep attacking; I knew what plant it was, and seeing its preciousness, I would have tried to get it.

While I may not be able to do anything against the intelligence of High Grandmasters, I have a pretty good chance against this plant, which did not have intelligence and limited maneuverability.

"Thank you," said Sarah, and it shocked me; the shock her words had given me far greater than the attack of the High Grandmaster.

Sarah seemed to know what I was thinking, reading the expressions on my face as she glared at me coldly before once again touching the invisible protection of the plant while my s.h.i.+elds faded from the view.

I could tell Sarah was searching for my s.h.i.+elds, but her soul sense was not strong enough to see them. They are still around her, ready to protect her or me against any attack that comes from the garden.

I have already realized how dangerous the garden is, and I would not compromise on safety, especially for Sarah. Even though I didn't like her, I had promised Jim I would protect her, and I would do just that till we returned to the Pyramid safely.

I quickly scanned the formation and began to break as I have done so many times already in the past seven hours.

"The Grimms have finished dealing with the trouble; they are now heading for the stainless blood soul lotuses," Sarah said suddenly; hearing that, I got up immediately, forgetting the formation which I was really close to cracking.

Krrrrr!

"Let's go," I said; even before I said it, Sarah had already placed her hand on the door and, a few seconds later, began to push it.

The door opened fully, and the powerful aura of the four Grandmasters covered us; the aura is quite powerful, especially of the Black Horned Apeman. Sarah is right; its strength is really close to the High Grandmaster, and most importantly, it has a bloodline.

"Gentleman, thank you for dealing with all the trouble for us. We are very grateful for that," I said to six Grandmasters.

There are six Grandmasters, but only four are worth noting, as two of them are Masters, while the other four are Grandmasters.

Of the four, one is a mid-level Grandmaster, while the three are peak Grandmasters, with one of them being just a step away from becoming a High Grandmaster.

"Micheal Zaar!" said the Black Horned Apeman; "Flaha, you are alive; we have thought you dead being dead, being barely run away in the half-dead state from Grandmaster Solace," I said, and rage in its eyes blazed; I gave it smile and looked around.

The final sanctum is big, though not as big as the garden, but still big, and the center of it is a dark lake with a snake-headed-headed skeleton with a clay crown on its head. The shocking thing is, there is a grey sword pierced through its heart.

It completely upended what I thought about this tomb, especially when I looked at the murals.

I had thought, this is a tomb that flower people had defaced; they had done that after they had found this tomb, but I was very wrong.

The flower people had attacked the kingdom of the snakehead race and killed their king; after that, they brought the body here; the tomb it had prepared for itself, and placed it in the most corrupt thing they could find.

They have painted everything in great detail so that even a dumb person would understand the murals without any problem.

I had decided that if I ever came across flower people in my life, I would go out of my way and be polite to them. They are very vengeful people who would even take revenge on the bodies of their enemies.

Though I am very grateful for that, even more, grateful that they threw the seeds of stainless lotus in the corrupt pond, which produced Stainless Blood Soul Lotuses.

"Good, you have come here, Micheal Zaar, and you have even brought one of a host of angel Inheritance. It seemed like luck is really favoring me that I will be able to kill two of you today," It said with a laugh while I looked at it as if it was an idiot.

"You do know that even a high Grandmaster had failed to kill me, right?" I asked to which its smile became brighter.

"What makes you think I did not have the power of High Grandmaster," It said with a toothed smile, and a bone ax appeared in hand.
