Staring at the other puppets, Jason tried to figure out which one he should fight now.
However, after thinking about it for a moment, he realized that the choice wasn't so complicated after all, to begin with.
It would be the most logical for him to fight all of the puppets one after another.
That way he could figure out how strong they were before deciding which of them he could fight a second time in the easiest manner in order to reveal his whole combat prowess.
The five puppets couldn't have the same combat prowess, and the difference in the main cultivation paths, as well as their uniqueness, was both an advantage and a disadvantage.
It made them stronger to fight against specific opponents, but also weaker against some other opponents.
With that in mind, Jason fought the remaining four puppets but was defeated in no time as he was blasted outside the combat arena.
In the end, he had only used Petri's fusion to grow the Cursed Basilisk's scales, and not to utilize his curses and the Emperor Eyes' abyssal effect.
Other than that, he didn't use his affinities to attack, further decreasing his strength.
As such, Jason was far from exposing his true combat prowess, which was something he was fully aware of.
Nonetheless, he showed the same combat prowess to each of the five puppets that used all kinds of different means in order to defeat him.
The Celestia puppet had simply overwhelmed him with its aura, before using mana in order to create a neutral mana blast. Jason had no other option than to simply accept this while noting down that the Celestia race's aura seemed to cause most restrictions.
Meanwhile, the puppet with the fiery aura and the supremacy of the Pryr path enveloped itself with the fire affinity it had before executing a unique type of affinity.
Through this, the fire affinity's characteristics changed slightly as the flame turned into a ginormous warrior that seemed to be hovering behind the puppet.
This particular puppet wanted to leave no stone unturned in order to overwhelm Jason. Hence, just a moment later, it exerted another technique at the same time, as it appeared in front of Jason.
Wasting no time, it initiated an onslaught of punches, while the ginormous warrior slashed at him with the long broadsword it simply manifested in its hand.
To his fortune, the sword of fire didn't cut through him and simply disappeared when it was about to hit him.
Nevertheless, it was shocking for Jason to realize that he had been unable to evade the fiery aura puppet's attack.
But the truly unnerving fact was that the flames were burning through his mana, showing the same energy burning characteristic Solaris had.
This happened solely because the puppet had used its entire mana core to exert the flame transformation technique, a name Jason gave it, after allowing the flame to envelop its body.
The technique might not leave the flame with any mana later, but that didn't matter.
The sole use of mana for the fiery aura puppet was exactly that, using its flame affinity.
Other than that, it could easily exceed Jason's speed, strength and endurance by simply attacking him as if he was an amateur fighter.
He still had to fight the Spiral path puppet that revealed its strength not only to Jason but also to Spyro, who saw everything Jason could see.
First, the Spiral path puppet used some of its spirit force in order to envelop its body.
Then it cranked up the consumption as it began to duplicate itself at an alarming pace.
This wouldn't have been a problem if the duplication process had some flaws, which he would certainly be able to see owing to his Emperor Eyes.
Yet, shockingly enough, there was nothing for him to help him differentiate between the two.
The puppet had created a spitting image of itself, whether it was from the inside or outside!
If something had even the faintest energy streams, Jason was always able to figure out what the issues were.
His Emperor Eyes were strong enough to do so, but right now they were failing him.
In the end, this was the most shocking discovery for him and while he was trying to digest the revelation, he was simultaneously forced to endure the attack of more than a dozen Spiral path puppets.
'The more the puppet duplicates, the weaker the subsequent duplicate will be?'
He was not sure if that was correct, but in comparison to fighting the other three puppets, the Spiral path puppet seemed to be holding back the most. It was brly using the duplication in order to defeat him using a numerical advantage.
Against his current combat prowess, the tricks used by the puppet were more than sufficient.
And, there was no problem owing to the fact that the duplicate's strength was on par with his own.
And that was after considering that the duplicates were not as strong as the main body!
Taking everything into account, Jason felt that the Spiral path puppet might be the easiest to fight, but at the same time, he got a bad feeling about it.
Because of that, he tried to use his Emperor Eyes to memorize the way in which the Spiral path puppet was utilizing its spirit force. It was attempting to help Spyro, the Spiral Spirit, to learn how to make use of its spirit force.
In fact, Spyro had already created a fortified soul conjunction with him, and it was only a matter of time before they would be able to fuse.
Once that was possible, Jason wanted to be able to duplicate his body, or do something similar that allowed his combat prowess to skyrocket.
Unfortunately, the Spiral path puppet's spirit force circulation was too complex to memorize after only seeing it once.
Thus, he decided to fight it a few more times to understand better.
However, before doing so, Jason first had to finish his preliminary analysis by fighting against the last puppet. It possessed all cultivation paths that were only slightly weaker than the other puppets!
Nevertheless, the cultivation veins were intertwined with each other and naturally released the fused energy. This was a sharp contrast to others that possessed all the cultivation veins but had to actively release the fused energy.
Owing to that, the last puppet's strength was not to be underestimated, and Jason knew that he couldn't afford to be distracted. If he wanted to find a way to allow Spyro to use its cultivation path in a different way, this was his best chance.
If he succeeded, he could help Spyro to solely amplify his brain's functions owing to the soul amplification.
As such, he faced the Three paths puppet that didn't hesitate to envelop itself with its intertwined energy before he created more than a thousand tiny needles composed out of the same energy.
Rotating at a rapid pace, the needles turned into small drills, before they were shot in large batches at Jason.
Yet, instead of hitting Jason directly, the intertwined energy accurately controlled the rotating needles.
These needles also had the traits of spirit force within, which allowed them to surround Jason, who was more than 100 meters away from the Three paths puppet.
Force to coil up with Petri's scaled armor, Jason was able to protect himself to some extent.
Unfortunately, the rotating needles drilled into his scales, and flesh before they stopped their attack, ending the fight before something worse could happen.
After the fight was over the Three path puppet returned to the other four puppets that were unmoving, as Jason was left alone, defeated by mere puppets.
As he sighed deeply, a plan formed in his mind.
'If I cannot defeat them now, I shall learn from them!"
With that in mind, he shot up from the ground, ignoring the pain that was coursing through his body. He was bruised and injured but he merely circulated mana through his body to stop the bleeding.
"Let's try copying the Spiral path puppet's techniques!"
