She could not help sounding angry when she got anxious.

Fu Xiuyuan detected how worried she was and liked hearing her talk to him in this tone. She had stopped treating him coldly and with utter disinterest. Instead, she was warm and caring.

Song Fan was standing with his back facing them when he finally broke his silence and said, "Miss s.h.i.+, you can't blame him. The moment you asked him out, he went to do research about first dates online so as not to disappoint you. He was home getting ready for the date."

s.h.i.+ Jin looked at Fu Xiuyuan. He was genuinely well-dressed.

To begin with, he was an incredibly gorgeous man. Now that he had made an effort to dress up, everything about him looked so exquisite that he was glowing.
