Mo GunGun had never seen anything like it before. He stared at the water cup and looked around it. He gathered his courage to put his nose close to it and sniff.
He carefully plunged his little head into the opening. How could the beetroot water be in here?
He tried scenting it, but he still couldn't smell anything. Mo GunGun could not help but put his head farther in it. He happened to touch the water with the tip of his nose. He sniffed a little and emitted a sound of surprise when some went up his nose.
The hairy little head shook, and Mo GunGun took two steps back from the container and sat on the ground.
He licked the tip of his snout, and his eyes turned round in surprise.
Mo GunGun: Huh?
Once again, he licked at the water droplets on his snout. He was delighted. It really was the beetroot water!
Sneaking a glance at the bamboo shoots, the panda was simultaneously distressed and a little happy.
All in all, his goal was achieved! He successfully bribed the monster!!
Mo GunGun carefully observed the big monster before tentatively approaching the cup. He took a few sips.
The two large panda eyes peeked at the admiral again before putting his whole little head deep into the cup.
Mo GunGun was temporarily full from all the shoots, so the water was very refres.h.i.+ng.
When he was completely satisfied, he realized his small round head was stuck in the cup's opening.
Shaking, the panda with its head stuck fought against the water cup.
Two small claws pulled at it a few times, then tilted the water cup upward. The panda drank the rest remaining water, slightly exhausted. He then held the gla.s.s and pulled his head back.
Uh oh.
It still can't be pulled out.
The cup was roughly the same size as the panda's head. The small panda with his head stuck shook his head, panicking. Two small claws pushed on the cup harder, leaving faint scratch marks on the cup. Eventually, it seemed that he tired again, so his whole body softened and slumped while his front and hind paws still exerted minimal force.
Apparently, the placement and strength of his four little paws were just right. With a pop, Mo GunGun succeeded in rescuing his head.
The panda's head was free.
The little panda stood up after freeing himself, slighting trembling with his fur matted down where the cup touched his face.
The panda laid down with the cup in his arms. His s.h.i.+ny black pupils were slightly wet. He felt very wronged.
Mo GunGun collapsed quickly from a lack of oxygen rather than exhaustion. He felt like he nearly suffocated.
The wronged little panda took a peek at the big monster. He noticed a hidden emotion in his deep eyes.
The monster was laughing at him.
Mo GunGun silently poked his head back into the water cup, blocking the admiral's gaze.
Lu Xiao Qi had been looking at his furry little companion the whole time.
Every move he made showed his simple and naive nature, especially him hiding his face in the water cup. It was a lovely sight: a cute and furry creature hiding and peeping at him. It remained vivid in his mind.
Mo GunGun held the cup and looked at the lake again. His eyes were bright as he gripped the container tightly. He still couldn't help but love the thing that can hold yummy water.
It was much better than leaves. It was not as scattered.
If only it could be hidden. Then, he would only have to come to the lake every two days.
After touching it, Mo GunGun thought that the smooth black hole was a novelty. How can it hold so much water?
Thanks to the water cup, the panda forgot his heartache over losing a pile of bamboo shoots.
Mo GunGun held a strong sense of curiosity towards the black hole. The more he rubbed his paws over the smooth surface, the more he liked it.
It wasn't long before Mo GunGun realized that there were still two strong lines of vision on him. Even if the panda was fascinated with the cup, he could still see Lu Xiao QI's dark and gloomy eyes. Two seconds of heartache later, Mo GunGun carefully loosened his grip on the cup and stepped backward. He still sneaked multiple glances at the cup, his eyes unable to hide his desire.
Lu Xiao Qi happened to sweep the lost bamboo shoots away, causing Mo GunGun's heart to feel like it was stabbed.
Mo GunGun: QAQ
He felt like he lost the world.
The panda's furry face prevented the admiral from seeing much expression, but he could tell that the panda was full of grievance. Lu Mian couldn't help but laugh.
Lu Xiao Qi picked up the ugly bamboo shoot bundle, while he paid attention to the small animal.
Mo GunGun had tears in his eyes.
Sure enough, he's going to cry. Lu Xiao Qi thought to himself as he took two steps forward while holding the bamboo shoots. The eagle-eyed little fellow subconsciously sneaked forward as well, as his mind focused on the food in the monster's hand.
Lu Xiao Qi suddenly turned back.
Mo GunGun panicked. He feared that the big monster might have felt threatened by him coveting the monster's food. He hurriedly pushed the water cup towards the monster.
Watery eyes threatened to drop gold beans at any moment. Lu Xiao Qi felt that it was funny. He no longer teased the silly little panda. He took one of the bamboo shoots as a souvenir before giving the rest back to his furry little companion.
Food fell from the sky! Mo GunGun was surprised.
He held the bamboo shoots pa.s.sively and stared at the other.
Lu Xiao Qi looked back at the panda for a second before studying the remaining parts of his armor.
Mo GunGun tilted his head to the side and blinked. He suddenly realized that he was being flattered and stared at the silver monster with large round black eyes.
Mo GunGun went forward: “Ah?”
Lu Xiao Qi cast a sidelong glance at him.
“Ao.” Mo GunGun spoke up again, his voice soft and tender.
Lu Xiao Qi looked down. “Go ahead.”
Mo GunGun did not understand what he said, but he understood that the bamboo shoots were given back to him. His heart finally calmed down after a few more tentative probes. Joy fell from heaven, and the panda rolled around happily with his lost-then-recovered treasures.
Lu Xiao Qi's heavy heart became a little lighter when he saw the naive action of Mo GunGun.
Picking up the water cup, Lu Xiao Qi came to help him. Therefore, Mo GunGun acquired a precious water storage.
Mo GunGun was filled with joy. He tried shouting "thank you" at the man.
Lu Xiao Qi stared silently.
A huge harvest! Mo GunGun was very happy, and he stole a glance at the big monster.
The monster was kinder than he thought. He even gave him such precious and beautiful treasures instead of eating.
Mo GunGun then lowered his head, feeling a little guilty.
Compared with the generous monster, he was too stingy. He only did his best to bring things back to his small tree hole. Mo GunGun was exhausted, but very happy.
Bribery worked very well!
Mo GunGun couldn't help but affectionately rub the cup a few times. The panda planned to properly place it in the deepest part of the tree hole, afraid it would be taken. Then, he would put the bamboo shoots in the corner, and the panda would be able to gaze at them in satisfaction for a long time. He couldn't help but roll around again in excitement.
It could be said that he was now a rich panda.
He used his claws and counted his property. Mo GunGun was grateful for his new life. He was full of motivation and hope for the future.
A super strong monster neighbor who was open to persuasion.
He was so lucky.
The easy-to-content little panda no longer thought about trying to get rid of him. He had a good meal in his new home and a kind monster as his neighbor. He was well taken care of. That monster was such a great person!
When night fell, Mo GunGun slept soundly.
Not far from the small lake, Lu Xiao Qi started two bonfires and sorted through the wreckage of his mecha in the moonlight.
Unfortunately, Lu Xiao Qi fell onto a deserted and uninhabited primitive planet. His only luck was that the debris that fell with him was a piece of the c.o.c.kpit of the mecha and the central console. Despite the tragic circ.u.mstances, it gave him hope that he could leave.
His mecha was completely sc.r.a.pped when he dealt with the black fog from the Hong Kun Royal Family, but the material for it was generally very scarce.
He may not have had a chance to turn the tables. The dragon's tail swung hard in the air, breaking hard metal into two, revealing the system center inside. The central part of the system was severely damaged, but not unsalvageable. Lu Xiao Qi's furrowed eyebrows relaxed for the first time in a while.
Not bad.
The most important part was not broken yet. It's only a matter of time and material to fix it.
In front of the crackling flame, Lu XIao Qi's appearance was extraordinarily deep, and the look in his deep pupils was unfathomable. The expressionless admiral was deep in thought for a long time before he shook his stiff body. Thanks to the bonfires, he happened to catch a glimpse of the bamboo shoot in the corner.
The frightening and oppressive aura around him dissipated as Lu Xiao Qi's eyes glistened slightly, revealing a bit of gentleness.
At that moment, the little panda muttered and turned in his sleep.
As he recalled his eventful day, Lu Xiao Qi stood up after two seconds of murmuring and got into the wars.h.i.+p, and soon found out what he was looking for.
When the panda shows up tomorrow he'll be very surprised.
When Mo GunGun woke up the next morning and saw what was in front of the hole, he was nearly frightened to death.
Mo GunGun crouched on the ground and carefully leaned his head out, and stared at the red ball in front of his house.
The panda smelled the scent of the big monster on it as his nose twitched.
Mo GunGun was surprised: Did the big monster come to give this to him?
With this thought in mind, the panda crawled out of the tree hole. He looked left and right, sniffing back and forth trying to find the scent of the big monster.
There was a trace of the familiar scent in the air, and Mo GunGun's heart finally calmed down. It really was something given to him by the good monster.
Mo GunGun was surprised. This was the first time he had received a gift from someone else. He didn't know what the red ball was, but the panda still circled around it excitedly.
The panda's eyes overflowed with curiosity: What is this?
A small paw flicked at it and it rolled around.
Ahh, it moved! His whole body went stiff. His round ears twitched in surprise and he blinked.
After a few more cautious jabs, Mo GunGun rejoiced. Four little claws picked it up and took it back to his small tree hole and buried it in the hay.
Since meeting the big monster, Mo GunGun felt that his world had changed.
The big monster had some amazing things ah, he really liked it!
With a heart full of joy, Mo GunGun also wanted to return a gift, so instead of eating breakfast, he ran to the bamboo shoot forest to dig up more than 30 roots.
The big monster gave him so many precious treasures and he could only give him bamboo shoots.
The panda put his head down in depression.
A few buzzing bees flew above him. The doubt riddled panda looked up at the branch, where a new honeycomb was built. Suddenly, the panda's spirit was roused.
The little ball of fluff stared at the honeycomb on the high branch and opened his mouth.
He remembered!
When he was a child, his mother had given him that to eat! If his memory was right, it was fresh, sweet, and super delicious!
The panda's eyes lit up. That!
He could send that to the big monster!
Then, the panda fell into a dilemma. How could he obtain it?
