It had been a long time since Mo GunGun had felt so upset. He was cold, hungry, and ugly.
He was going to die.
The child stood up unsteadily. He couldn't walk with these new legs at all. He stumbled and fell.
He laid flat, the corners of his eyes damp as he choked back a sob.
Mo GunGun with tears running down his face: “Mmm, mmm.”
Crying took too much physical strength and energy. After a while, Mo GunGun slept on the cold ground b.u.t.t-naked.
There were still traces of sadness and grievance on his little face. His eyebrows were wrinkled, and his little mouth was soft and tender.
After falling asleep, Mo GunGun let out a sob every now and then.
When he closed his eyes, the little guy didn't notice the faint, red flas.h.i.+ng light further away, and the change in his crying voice. His little fat feet became little pudgy paws. The chubby flesh was still chubby, but the smooth skin became hairy.
He changed back to the mini panda with a little patch of fur missing from his belly.
However, Mo GunGun didn't know that he was no longer an ugly little monster and was still lost in sadness.
He gave a let a pathetic whimper, “Un un”.
Lu Xiao Qi heard the little panda's voice. When he took a few steps stepped forward, he saw the little panda lying on the ground, crying. Bamboo shoots were on the ground everywhere. The red ball and the water cup rolled to the corner, as if he had encountered a robber.
Lu Xiao Qi was stunned.
He squatted down and carefully held the panda in his palm. Just when he was about to speak, the little guy suddenly attacked him with his claws.
Lu Xiao Qi did not react right away and took the hit head-on. Suddenly, he saw a red light flash in front of him. It seemed that a fat baby replaced the panda. A second later, a sense of sleepiness overcame him. Lu Xiao Qi tried his best to continue blinking in an effort to stay awake. The last thing he saw before his eyes closed was the little panda with only a small b.u.t.tock and tail sticking out of the pile of hay.
Lu Xiao Qi fell to the ground with a thud as his tail thrashed wildly, smas.h.i.+ng into the ground and creating a crack. His tail seemed to be reflecting his anxiety.
The loud sound woke the panda, nearly scaring him to death. All of his body hair stood up and his b.u.t.t cheeks squeezed together as he buried his body into the pile of hay. Once he was inside, Mo GunGun calmed down in a few minutes.
Finally, he regained his senses. He trembled as he stuck out his small head and looked around carefully.
His sight was immediately drawn to the large comatosed man on the ground. Mo GunGun felt like he was struck by lightning.
He left the hay and ran to the big monster. His little claws stretched out and prodded him.
The big monster held a high position in Mo Gungun's heart, but now he seemed to be a corpse. The little panda was terrified. He circled the big monster, shouting. Unfortunately, the big monster didn't respond.
Mo GunGun nervously ran around him. Finally, his gaze locked onto the vines.Casting all caution to the winds, he first tied up the big monster, attached him to his body, and dragged him to the water. Even though Mo GunGun's strength was not great, he still managed to pull him across the ground.
After successfully taking the big monster close to the water, Mo GunGun's tired soul nearly flew out of his body.
However, he didn't care that he was tired or thirsty. He went into the water and splashed it all over his body. Then, he ran back and threw water onto the monster's face. After repeating this several times, Mo GunGun was so tired he could barely move and flopped directly onto the face of the big monster.
This whole time the panda's grievance had been fermenting. Mo GunGun, who still hadn't realized that he was a panda again, held the monster's face and started to cry like a mourning child.
The little weeping voice was very tender. Tears trickled down and fell on Lu Xiao Qi's face. His eyelids fluttered. A few seconds later, he woke up and was a little shocked by the scene that greeted him.
Mo GunGun was still unaware that Lu Xiao Qi was already awake and continued to cry, crying a lifetime of tears.
Lu Xiao Qi heard the panda's voice, his face was full of fur, and was confusedly worried.
Mo GunGun cried until he was out of breath. Lu Xiao Qi's heart hurt so much from his crying that he began to wonder if he was actually dead.
His dark pupils flickered and finally coalesced into a soft gaze. Lu Xiao Qi reached out and touched the small bear.
Lu Xiao Qi said, “I'm ok.”
Mo GunGun's crying abruptly ended. He stared at Lu Xiao Qi with eyes full of tears.
Lu Xiao Qi's eyes flashed with an amused light as he repeated, “I'm ok.”
Mo GunGun seemed to wake up from a dream. The water covering his body flew everywhere as the sopping wet ball of fluff turned around and ran away. His short legs didn't want to cooperate and he tripped over his own feet, rolling into the water. After struggling for a bit, he finally made his way out. When he saw his familiar claws, he finally realized that he had changed back.
He stared at his little paw in surprise. Tossing his other worries aside, he then proceeded to peer in the water. After confirming that he did indeed have his fur back, he started cheerfully humming to himself, unaware of what melody he was singing.
The panda hopped around happily, shaking the water droplets out of his fur with pride.
Even if a small piece of belly fur was missing, his hairy body was still beautiful to Mo GunGun, who instantly recovered his self-esteem after a nightmare of losing it all.
It was better to have one piece of fur missing than to have all of it gone.
The panda happily held his tail and rolled around several times, forgetting about the big monster on the side.
When he remembered, he sprinted to the big monster and ran around him several times.
Mo GunGun, “Mm-hmm, un-ao.”
Look, he's recovered! He's an authentic panda again. His fur is back!
The panda was almost frightened to death, mm-hmm!
Lu Xiao Qi was really surprised. He felt really happy seeing the little guy so excited that he woke up and thought that he should treat the little panda even better from now on. Both sides were very happy, and although there was a misunderstanding between them, they continued to maintain a strange and warm harmony.
Despite being soaked, Mo GunGun was still in an excellent mood. His reaction was a bit different from how cats and dogs take a bath.
The panda was pudgy and full of vigor.
Nothing had changed. He was still a little panda with a round face.
In the end, Mo GunGun was still not too fond of being wet. He wiped his face and shook the water out of his fur before running around happily. He couldn't stop himself. He was simply too excited and relieved.
Lu Xiao Qi sat up and stared at the tracks on the ground. He touched his damp and dirty back and went silent, lost in his thoughts for a long time.
Peeling a lump of mud off of his head, he looked at the happy little guy, his eyes dark and uncertain.
After observing the little panda's energetic behavior for a few seconds, Lu Xiao Qi hid the doubts overflowing from his eyes.
Seeing that everyone was happy, Mo GunGun's eyes squinted with satisfaction. Since he became a panda again, no one could see that under the black circles of fur, his eyes were still a bit swollen from crying. After transforming, he didn't look so pathetic.
His stomach growled. Mo GunGun was so hungry that he felt like he was going to collapse.
He hadn't eaten for two days, which was terrible for animals like him that need to eat a large amount of food to replenish their energy.
Now, his hair was back, as well as his fangs.
Fortunately, there was a pile of bamboo shoots in the big monster's territory. The little panda rushed to bite a piece of bamboo, his eyes s.h.i.+ning as he began to eat. Once Mo GunGun started, he couldn't keep still. He stuffed sweet and tangy bamboo shoots into his mouth like it was his last chance to ever eat again.
Because of their earlier misunderstanding, the human and panda sat in a harmonious atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Lu Xiao Qi had roughly confirmed that the bloodline of the little panda was not simple. As for what he actually was, the admiral was still unsure.
Unfortunately, he didn't remember the flas.h.i.+ng red light and the changes that had occurred prior to him falling asleep.
From that point on, Mo GunGun occupied the big monster's small mat in an imposing manner. Since the hay bed had impressed him very much, he shamelessly stuck to the big monster's mat. At night, he was like a little tortoise, very easy to pick up, hold, and play with.
Lu Xiao Qi had also become accustomed to the fact that the little guy liked to follow him around, and didn't think he was disobedient.
From time to time, when he needed to grab some tools, Mo GunGun would blink his bright, black eyes and quietly stare Lu Xiao Qi, handing them up with both of his paws.
Lu Xiao Qi's cold, hard heart was melting.
Once Mo GunGun ate his fill, he wanted to play and would run around the big monster. When the admiral was repairing his machine armor, the panda would move closer and closer until he was basically hugging the big monster's ankle, sitting on the top of his shoe. Other times, he climbed up the armor's leg, and found a comfortable place to bask in the sun.
Those two skeletons were very rare materials. Lu Xiao Qi used them to fix the hidden dangers in his armor that could explode at any time. Unfortunately, they were just a drop in the bucket. If he wanted to thoroughly repair it, he needed a lot more pieces. Because of this, Lu Xiao Qi decided to explore the traps he left two days ago in the forest to see if there was any prey and take a chance to find more materials.
Mo GunGun had become Lu Xiao Qi's little fanboy. He stayed by his side all day. In two days, he had moved all of his belongings over and dug a small hole in the corner of the tent, buried them carefully, and spread hay over them.
As for the big monster, Mo GunGun trusted him and didn't hide from him. Usually, he sat on the mat and held his cup contentedly. At this time, he licked a mouthful of honey. Before he was satisfied, he saw that the big monster was about to leave and hurriedly put down the honey to chase after him.
The confused little panda: “Huh, huh?”
He subconsciously held the back of the big monster's ankle, sat on his instep, and shouted at him.
Lu Xiao Qi habitually picked him up and placed him on his shoulder and said, “I'm going hunting. Do you want to stay here or go with me?”
Mo GunGun blinked. He stretched out his little claws and tugged on the admiral's collar that was tightly closed. Then he dove into the admiral's s.h.i.+rt. His att.i.tude could not have been any more obvious.
Lu Xiao Qi looked at the little lump stuck to his chest. "…….."
These past two days the little guy's IQ seemed to be a little higher… maybe, he actually does understand him?
His doubts came and went like the wind as Lu Xiao Qi petted his companion, “Then, let's go.”
In another area not far away, a group of skeletons were heading for their base, their eyes burning with a green fire. The leading red skeleton gritted his teeth and ordered the group behind him, “Hurry up!”
The red skeleton's green eyes blazed with fire as he said, "Don't let them run away!"

Gong: *Stiffens* (heartbroken)
Luoshenhua: Aww, Mo GunGun to the rescue!
Sora: *sighs* why can't I ever make good on my intentions/promises? I really need to try harder… Anyways, I will be recruiting one more editor so that one of my team each week can take a break. Let me know if you are interested!
