20 1.20 Association Versus Coalition.

It dawned to me that I should be looking for another unmarked bike soon as they might plant some bugs while I was not around the Phantom though. The gruffly armed guards pointed to a spot where I could park my bike, well away from the Church's entrance and I idled the bike and kicked its side stand and parked under a pine tree.

I walked over the turf and was stopped by another heavily armed guard with a Kevlar Type 3 vest slapped across his chest and tactical gears that only the elite can purchase them. I was about to be stopped from entering when one of Leo's bodyguards approached me.

"She's with us, mate. Be sure to recognise her in the future when she comes by here." the bodyguard named Adam approaches and tapped the shoulder of the heavily armed guard in full tactical gear who was guarding the main double swing doors of the Church.

"She's our Contract Killer, our main contractor that our Boss employs to take care of those Weres and Night Crawlers. In short, she's one of us." Adam explained as he picked my elbow and led me away and into the main doorway of the Church.

"There seems to be a lot of followers tonight. What's the big occasion, Adam? This never had happened before and creating blockades across the main path that leads here."

"The Boss decides to take extra precaution, tonight. It is just a facade to sort of lure those Weres and Night Crawlers into thinking that there would be fresh meat for them to pick."

"You knew about the Orders, right? No Weres were to inflict or harm another human being to add to their existing overpopulated packs. These Night Crawlers too were banned not to have more Blood Servants, thus turning innocent humans into their kind."

"Since we have our own synthetic blood supply, it's richer in riboflavin that the ones we had for hundreds of years back... Hahahaha." Adam chuckled at the thought of the enriched blood that's much better than the original ones.

They had their own vault where they store these bags of blood much like the bags done to store IV or during blood donation drives. Before the arrival of these synthetic blood, these Vamps used to contract the Blood Banks and purchase common Blood Types at $20 a pint.

But due to an agent that prevents the blood from coagulation, some Vamps had developed rashes or allergies to it. So for those who had allergies, turned to pig's blood to sustain their diet. Its much more like human blood comparably and a group of scientist were summoned to develop one that closely resembled human blood. After all its being developed in labs, so the process is much cleaner.

Adam had escorted me past the door behind the altar and brought me to the screening place before entering Leonard's quarters. There had been more CCTV cameras affixed and a few common rooms along the hallway had been turned to become their Ops Room.

I peered in and saw quite a number of LED Screens set up and all the CCTV cameras were set up to cover every inch of the perimeter as well as the Two Mile Creek that previously was not even violated with these small peeping devices.

"Adam, when did they fix these cameras at the Two Mile Creek?" I looked in horror as I imagined one of the cameras had zoomed on her when she was naked and sprawled among the pine needles after my Shapes.h.i.+ft, exposing my v.a.g.i.n.a skywards and for everyone to see...

"Two days back... We have to cover the whole perimeter in case they come by land and sea. We have not thought they would be airdropped from the sky above though. The cost would be non-imperative to their modus operandi. These Weres and Night Crawlers were not Rangers nor Commandos."

The thought of those prying cameras zooming on my tiny b.u.t.t hole as well as my shaven v.a.g.i.n.a makes me wanna look for other places to Shapes.h.i.+ft. Even in Georgia, we had an abundance of creeks and forested areas, Two Mile was the best for me since the beasts could frolic around in the shallow waters.

The security guard that was on duty the day before looked at me and my a.r.s.enal and waved me off since I was being escorted with Leo's trusted bodyguard that also happened to be his Blood Servant centuries back. I wonder how these vamps could live as an immortal and bear through changes in revolutionary as well as technology.

"Hey, Boss... What a reception you got over here. Guess the cover's blown now and people around might be thinking why there are barricades and guards all over this place." I greeted Leo as Adam walked with me and gestured me to sit on the comfy leather armchairs before Leo's.

"No one has to be carefree, Mae. There's a c.o.c.kroach or more within our a.s.sociation and we are trying to weed those out. Once we had done so, we might relocate or simply fortify this place. We won't let you know where we would relocate, but there's a fair chance that you might be trailed as well."

"Yeah, 5 Weres were at my place the other night after I had returned from here. They were simply sniffing around my lot and were up to simply no good. I won't know what they were up to but I had a wonderful b.a.l.l.s Kicking Time with them."

"Those were sent by their higher-ups, Mae. If you had come back home earlier, you might have missed them and you'd end up as a victim instead. These Weres attack in a pack and if you were unarmed at that time, even your Merry b.a.l.l.s Kicking Time would have no time to be deployed at all."

"That's true Boss. Did you guys find out who's behind this? I mean any kind of clue so we could take their heads off and slowly the bodies would die and rot?"

"It's much worse than you think, Mae. It's like a Medusa's head with hundreds of heads as their bosses. One thing for sure is that they would be a dominated and domineering pack than would turn itself into a Coalition, even with more members against the a.s.sociation."

"Hot d.a.m.n...!!! Even bigger than the a.s.sociation? How big is this a.s.sociation, anyways?" I slid down on the armchair slightly was literally slouching like a high school student when faced with a dead-end question during an examination.
