Chapter 331: Reviews

<[Agnas] is a movie that's in the making for a few years already and from a movie that's been in pre production hell for a long time, you would expect that the chances of things going wrong would be significantly higher but fortunately, it's not the case with [Agnas] at all. The movie is like fine wine and Aiden Silvereye might get an Oscar nomination for this role. He's just very effortless in the skin of Agnas. The climax is the heart.

-Hollywood Reporter.>

<For bipocs, you can go a lot of ways. Either showing the person's highs or the things that he achieved but [Agnas] focuses more on the mental aspect of a superstar. Something that's rarely done in cinema and at the end of the movie, somewhere in my heart, I was glad I have decided to review movies not make them. The final song would probably make people cry. A must watch!

-Vanity Magazine.>

<Agnas has a lot of drawbacks as somewhere, you would expect it to be more of an extravaganza but it's not that type of a movie. Still, it achieves what it wants to and that is the most important thing in the movie. The music and the cast overshadow the cinematography and editing clearly. Expect the Oscars jury to take keen attention to this movie in the nominations.

-LA Times.>

Reviews were soon out for the movie and the pre booking was also going well. Though, a lot of people were trying to save up for [Judgment] that was going to be released next week.

But still, with good reviews, the hype was made. More people who were older were interested in the movie as they were the ones who have experienced Agnas's stardom and were very interested in knowing about his life story.

At the same time, a lot of people were also going to watch it just because of the music in the trailers and promos. The sound design was something that was better than most of the movies that have come out this year.

Discussions online about it were rampant due to this.

[Hollywood remake factory: Is anyone going to watch [Agnas] tomorrow?]

[Naming my kid Boy: My grandpa is super excited to watch for some reason. She told me that Agnas was someone who every girl has a crush on back in the 70s. I'm taking her to watch it. From the trailers, I'm interested too.]

[Superhero conundrum: I'm saving money for [Judgment]. It's extremely expensive to go to movies these days and I can't miss a superhero movie. [Agnas] isn't really interesting to me as I don't enjoy movies with no action.]

[American gun specialist: Very excited for [Agnas]. Just because of Aiden and [Action Hero]. I had a lot of fun in that movie with my friends. This seems like a very different experience but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good one. I believe Aiden's script choices a lot.]

[My dog is a dawg: This movie should have been released on Zetflix. No interest in it. Me and my boys are gonna watch [Judgment].]

Like that, there were a lot of opinions on the movie but now that it was releasing, the results were going to come out.

"How do these reporters even get an interview with someone who lived in Texas?"

Aiden asked Wade who just shrugged his shoulders. On the backseat, Tom was looking up online reviews and ratings for [Agnas]. Besides him, Sasha, his PR manager was sitting. She was from Texas, so she accompanied them on the trip.

"Reporters will even go to Mars if it means spicy news. I'm pretty sure a few of them would be crawling around here too."

Wade looked outside the window, looking for anyone suspicious at Sasha's words. They were currently in a residential area of Texas where Anna Bathes supposedly lived.

As Aiden was getting curious about why she hated Agnas so much, he had decided to meet her. One of the reasons was also to stop her from giving venomous interviews.

"Anyway, it's that house, right?"

Aiden pointed at a house and Wade nodded.

"This should be it."

"Okay, I will go and ring the doorbell. Though, I feel like I will be chased out."

"Want me to come with you?"

Wade asked but Aiden shook his head in rejection. He needed to talk to the woman alone.

'I should have been visiting theatres to see public reaction but whatever. Here goes nothing.'

He thought before getting out of the car.

Aiden took a deep breath and walked towards the door. Looking around, he saw no one and rang the doorbell.

There was no answer. It was an old type of doorbell without any video screen to check who it was. Aiden rang it again and this type, he heard footsteps.

In the next few seconds, the door opened and a woman appeared.

"I told you all I'm not giving any more inter"

The woman began to speak but when she saw who was standing in front of her, she froze. She opened and closed her mouth before a frown appeared on her face.

'She looks very old. Probably she's the one I'm looking for.'

Aiden thought in his mind.

The woman looked to be in her 70s with white hair. There were wrinkles on her face which were highlighted more because of her frowning. She was a head shorter than Aiden but despite her age, she looked fit.

He felt like he had seen her somewhere before. At least, her face looked familiar. Probably from the memories of Agnas he had seen.

Before Aiden could open his mouth, the woman spoke.

"Why are you here? Trying to sue me for my interviews? I'm telling you right now if you try, I'm going to sue first."

"I'm not here for that. Even if we have such intentions, you won't see me but a lawyer."

Aiden countered and the old woman who he had already assumed as Anna Bathes blinked her eyes.

"Why are you here then?"

"I want to talk to you."

"About what."

"Agnas."

They talked like that for a minute before the woman looked around, noticing a car in which Wade was sitting in the front row. Frowning again, she gestured for him to come in.

Aiden walked in with her and noticed that the house was pretty old fashioned. There weren't many accessories and Anna seemed to be living alone.

No family pictures on the wall either. When they reached the living room, she gestured for him to sit down.

"What do you mean you are here to talk about Agnas? I don't want anything to do with him."

"If you don't want anything to do with him, then why are you spewing venom against him so much? Why do you even hate Agnas so much?"

Aiden looked at her and for a moment, Anna didn't know what to say. She sighed and closed her eyes.

A complicated expression appeared on her face before she opened her mouth again.

"Agnas and I were friends. Probably more than that. It was a pretty good time in my life. At least when it started, my relationship with him. But I wasn't able to handle his stardom. Too many people used to meet him everyday. New faces everyday. I didn't even know them. Never did. The constant media around him and me. I wasn't able to handle it. We had fights. It got over. He was devastated but it was better than waiting for things to go beyond a line. I moved out of town, away from the articles and he rose more and more to godhood."

Anna started speaking. Aiden listened to each of her words with attention, trying not to miss anything and at the same time, he was trying to remember if he had seen this in the memories of Agnas.

"What happened then?"

"I got married to a normal guy. He wasn't really special but it was enough. My married life was good. Normal. Years went by and one day, Agnas approached me on the streets. I didn't know if it was a coincidence or not but he found out. I was happy because I felt like we both have matured. He wanted to meet and talk, and hear about how I'm doing. I already knew what he was doing. He was everywhere."

Aiden suddenly blinked his eyes as he realised something.

Something clicked inside his head.

'Wait, I know who Anna is'

He thought and the next words from Anna confirmed his thoughts.

"We met as friends this time. It was good. He used to sing me songs. Was happy to know that I was good. Then one day, he asked me out, saying that he wanted to get things better this time and was thinking of leaving music. I told him off, saying I have a husband. He left without saying anything but just the next day, there was an article on a major newspaper with a photo of me and him."
