Xu Mingjing took a deep breath and said to her driver, “Go take a look.”

“But…” The driver didn’t dare to.

But Xu Mingjing, who normally had a soft personality, was now decisive and cold. She ordered him, “Go and ask them what they want.

Because the door was open, Yuan Keqing and Xu Mingjing both heard what Zhou Jingan had said.

Xu Mingjing saw that they had no intention of harming them, so she opened the door and got out.

Yuan Keqing also got out of the car and stood next to Xu Mingjing.

“Why must it be half an hour? Why must you ruin my daughter’s examination?” Xu Mingjing asked as she s.h.i.+vered with anger. “Do you plan on doing this for all her exams or just for this one? Do you plan on doing this every year or only this year?”

Even though she was excessively angry, she forced herself to calm down and to try to understand the problem thoroughly.

Zhou Jingan raised his eyebrows. It seemed as if Xu Mingjing wasn’t an ordinary person. She had a clear mind even in these dire circ.u.mstances.

He was surprised that she could ask these questions calmly in such an environment.

This wasn’t how she normally acted.

Zhou Jingan answered her slowly, “Mrs. Yuan, think for yourself about what your daughter has done. You are a smart woman, so you can probably figure it out.”

He wasn’t in a hurry. There was almost a half hour to kill, so he would chat with them if they liked.

Xu Mingjing frowned and looked at Yuan Keqing. Did Yuan Keqing offend someone at school?

“No, I really didn’t! How would I dare to? Even if they laugh at me, I have to hold it in.” Yuan Keqing pouted, feeling sorry for herself.
