“Hand over the artifact.”
A message popped up in front of Ju-Heon as soon as he said that.
[ You have received the title of < Immoral Extortionist >.]
[Your < Violent Artifact Destroyer >, < Cruel Artifact Intimidator >, and < Immoral Extortionist > titles have combined together to create a hidden passive skill, < Diabolical Charisma >.]
[The skill will always be active. Your significantly high Dominance has created a synergistic effect.]
[However, the artifacts will have the worst first impression of you and remember you as a rare worthless scoundrel. However, artifacts affiliated with evil will fervently praise you.]
[There are probably no other artifact-users as terrible as you in the world.]
‘This Crow bastard.’
Ju-Heon scoffed only for a moment as Yoo Jaeha quietly whispered.
“Umm, Captain-nim. I thought you were going to negotiate…”
“I changed my mind. I'm just going to take it by force.”
He didn't seem to like the people with whom he was to negotiate. The thugs scoffed after hearing Ju-Heon's shameless words.
“Steal our artifact?”
“Yes, the artifact that gathers young children. Hand it over.”
“Look at this crazy bastard!”
It happened as they tried to grab Ju-Heon.
They heard some dull pows before somethings that looked like toys started to fall onto the stone floor.
It was actually teeth.
“Aaaaaaaaaah! My tooth!”
The men grabbed their faces as they rolled on the ground. Ju-Heon just scoffed at them.
“Why do idiots like them never listen? It would have been so much easier if you just gave it to me.”
‘Would you have done that? You damn Extortionist King.’
Yoo Jaeha sighed while thinking like that but didn't scold him. Actually, forget scolding Ju-Heon…
“The Captain-nim said to hand it over. Hey bastards. Do you not understand what he is saying?”
He helped threaten the thugs.
It was at that moment.
“Hey you, do you really want that artifact?”
They heard an unfamiliar voice coming from the poker table. There was a young white woman sitting there. She was wearing a tank top and camouflage pants.
She was a great beauty like Keira, but Ju-Heon's expression turned odd after seeing her.
‘Why?’
She was someone Ju-Heon remembered.
‘Mary Wilson.’
He was certain. She was an army surgeon who was not at the monarch level but was quite active in the artifact world working for Keira. She was quite a talented artifact user.
‘It really must be connected to Keira since this woman is here.’
Ju-Heon smiled as if things were working out, but Mary Wilson ogled the two men’s bodies before starting to smile.
“Why don’t we make a bet? I can give you guys the artifact if you win.”
“Hey, Mary!”
The others grumbled after hearing her offer, but Mary Wilson smiled as if she didn’t care.
“Why not? We're bored. Plus, it’s obvious I will win no matter what that bastard does.”
She seemed to have a trick up her sleeve as she was overflowing with confidence, but Ju-Heon saw the huge sum of money that Mary Wilson had won before smiling greedily.
“Fine. I’m free until tomorrow morning. However.”
“However?”
“If I win, I get the artifact and all of your entire fortunes.”
‘Is this punk crazy?’
“Fine. But if I win, both of your healthy organs will be ours. There are a lot of people asking for it around here.”
"Sure.”
“I can't tell whether you are brave or stupid.”
The thugs started to laugh.
However, Yoo Jaeha alone was thinking that Ju-Heon was a devil. It was because he already realized what Ju-Heon was thinking.
Yoo Jaeha looked at his watch and clicked his tongue.
‘Tsk, it won’t even take 10 minutes.’
What he thought actually came true.
“Royal straight flush.”
Mary Wilson dropped her cards after seeing the cards Ju-Heon revealed. It made sense as the situation became quite troublesome for her.
"T, this makes no sense.”
‘How did I lose?!’
Her peers were also looking at her in disbelief. She then peeked toward the European coin next to her.
‘It’s definitely face up. But why?!’
The goddess of luck was supposed to descend and give her the greatest of luck as long as this coin was face up.
But for some reason, her hands were shit and Ju-Heon's cards were the highest-grade hands.
Ju-Heon started to laugh.
“How foolish. Did you think you would win no matter what as long as you had that coin?”
“!”
They became anxious after realizing Ju-Heon knew about the coin.
‘He knows about the coin?’
“You, how did you?!”
‘How did I know?’
[A lucky coin blessed by a goddess of luck (C-Grade:General-Grade/Consumable Artifact)]
He had seen that item so much that he got tired of it at one point in a casino.
This coin was a coin that was thrown into a fountain that turned into an artifact. How many coins are thrown into fountains around the world for luck?
Even if only a portion of them became artifacts, there were quite a lot of them and casinos around the world were full of bastards raising their lucks with this item. There were times people stole the coins from others because both of them having the coins would even out their lucks.
‘But it doesn’t matter.’
Ju-Heon laughed while looking at the message in front of him.
[The goddess of destitution who makes you feel terrible just looking at her has descended.]
[The aura of destitution is stretching out to a radius of 500m.]
[Everybody except your group has been cursed with terrible luck for them and their families. Continuing like this will make the opponent’s genetics itself hold the misfortune attribute.]
[Stopping this now is highly recommended.]
A C-Grade goddess of luck like that had no chance of doing anything in front of the SS-Grade goddess of destitution who was similar to a predator!
It was a one-sided massacre.
Ju-Heon who had texted Irene to make this happen was smiling wickedly.
‘Good. She’s getting better at handling the artifact. I guess she’s slowly getting used to it.’
Ju-Heon was trying to make Irene use her artifact little by little to develop her proficiency. The thugs were just used for that purpose.
It was as Yoo Jaeha had expected.
Of course, it was not that Ju-Heon became lucky. These bastards just became extremely unlucky that all the good hands ended up with his captain.
‘Wow, making them suffer the same way they made others suffer is quite fun.’
On the other hand, Mary Wilson was sweating. This situation was not normal. However, Ju-Heon viciously glared regardless of whether Mary Wilson was shocked or not.
“I won. So hand over your entire fortune.”
“Wait, this is…!”
Mary Wilson tried to grab the coin and stealthily run away. However, there was no way Ju-Heon would not notice that.
Puuk!
“Ahhh!”
A dagger stabbed down on Mary Wilson's hand that was trying to grab the coin artifact. Ju-Heon pulled the dagger out and asked if she wanted her hand chopped off as he smiled viciously.
“You said you would hand it all over.”
“Aaaaaah!”
“And spill the beans on the business the US General Keira Clark is running here.”
“I don’t know anything about that!”
Ju-Heon slammed Mary Wilson on the poker table as soon as she said that. He then threatened her with a knife as he started to speak.
“I already know you are connected to Keira. I suggest you speak now while I'm still being nice.”
A scared Mary Wilson started to speak as the blade was about to stab her. She felt like she would really die at this rate.
“Okay, okay, so stop! There’s a tomb in the forest 10km north of here! A rare specialty item is generated there! The General-nim is gathering that item!”
Ju-Heon's knife stopped as if he had never planned to use it on her in the first place.
“A tomb?”
“That’s right! It looks like a regular stone mountain on the outside. You must be looking for Xu Fu's artifact if you are looking for an artifact that gathers young children, right? It's inside the tomb! Go there and take it or do whatever you want!”
Ju-Heon scoffed at her.
“Why did she put Xu Fu's artifact in such a place?”
“I told you, a special item is generated in the tomb! But only children are able to bring it out, so the artifact…!”
Ju-Heon started to smirk as if he realized what was going on.
‘So that’s how it is.’
Mary urgently shouted after seeing that Ju-Heon seemed to accept it.
“We're good now that I told you the information, right? So, let me go!”
‘I must inform General Keira-nim of this now that it's become like this!’
However, Ju-Heon activated an artifact. Some suspicious powder started to gather behind him.
It was none other than the zombie powder.
Ju-Heon's eyes then sparkled as he smiled wickedly.
“Let you go? Do you think I am crazy enough to let eyewitnesses go?”
They all turned pale after hearing that.
Screams soon echoed through the casino.
“Wow, how cruel. So cruel. At this point, I'm starting to feel bad for the bad guys.”
Yoo Jaeha stared at the 007-style money briefcase as they exited the casino. Inside the bag were money that those bastards scammed in the casino as well as the expensive items they owned.
There was a total of about 70 million won. He didn’t know why, but Ju-Heon had gathered everything.
‘Well, I'm sure there's a reason for it since he doesn't usually care much for money.’
“I thought you were going to the bank tomorrow morning. You said we needed cash before going to the tomb.”
“No, we don’t need to go anymore. We still have the money we were planning to negotiate with and we have enough with this stuff.”
“?”
The casino was now full of patients who had become zombies, but Ju-Heon walked out without caring about them at all.
It was now time to loot the tomb that Xu Fu's artifact was supposedly in.
However, Ju-Heon’s expression suddenly turned odd as he walked.
Of course, there was a reason for it.
[You have received the title of < Robber Underneath the Clear Sky >.]
[It is recommended that you change your profession to < Wicked Thief >.]
[Would you like to change occupations?]
It was because such unbelievable messages had popped up.
‘This is definitely that damn crow bastard’s doing.’
He then started to smile viciously.
Was it provoking him on purpose to come find it?
"I was going to slowly look for it, but I can’t let this crow bastard just be.”
‘Why is he randomly talking about a crow?’
Yoo Jaeha looked at him oddly before asking a question.
“But what is that specialty item you talked about earlier? It seemed to be related to Xu Fu's artifact.”
“It’s simple. Looks like that bitch Keira is running a plantation without the world knowing about it.”
“A p, plantation?”
“She’s using forced labor and not paying them a dime.”
That was indeed the case.
There was a tomb related to something edible here in Africa.
‘That damn Keira. She probably realized she could make a lot of money off it and is monopolizing the tomb.’
Ju-Heon soon added on.
“What I am certain about is that the food item coming out of there will become something that changes the history of the world.”
“Is it because it tastes delicious? Or does it give a lot of benefits for eating it or something?”
“Who knows? I don’t know because I’ve never tried to eat it.”
What he was certain about was that people claimed to see a Dragon ascending to the heavens.
‘Now that I think about it, one of those specialty items first came from the US. It must be from this tomb.’
He might be able to swallow up this specialty food item as well.
“Anyway, it's not far from here. Let's find Irene and immediately head toward the to…”
Ju-Heon started to look around.
It happened at that moment.
“S, something bad has happened!”
He heard a voice behind him. Irene's female guard was standing behind him. She was breathing heavily as if she had been running around.
“I, I don’t see the young lady!”
“What did you say?”
A shocked Yoo Jaeha looked toward Ju-Heon with a thought on his mind.
"Captain-nim, you asked Irene to use the artifact of destitution's powers, right?!”
Ju-Heon put a hand on his forehead.
‘Did her risk activate again?’
It was quite possible that her risk of greed activated again.
‘It’s bad if her greed is being activated elsewhere.’
Ju-Heon, Yoo Jaeha, and the guard decided to split up to find her. Thankfully, Ju-Heon managed to find her after searching for a short period of time.
The problem was where he ended up finding her!
