87 So What Was Her Will?

"So what was her will?" I asked trying to contain the situation.

There was a paused.

"Would you say you were close to Ninianne, Rolland?" asked Peter, ignoring me completely.

"Me?" I asked him with a look.

Peter looked as though he had heard exactly what he had expected. I could see it in his eyes even when he tried to contain his happiness. This was not going good. I really needed to bail. I wrote sos in my note pad. But there was already a reply. 'Wait'

"I just met her. It was my first meeting but it was as if she knew," I stated,

"Ninianne was different, she wants you to give you a choice. The majority of her possessions are to be put into a trust for her knights to use; her sister who is banish was to inherited her home, you, her heir will receive her trust on the date of your bonding ceremony when you become a full adult."

That was so stupid.

"It is expected," said Rolland. "But we do not wish to serve a dim wit female. The lady was helpless with the sword but she is worst. We may not want to stay?"

"Can you just tell them, her last request?"

However, Peter did not seem to be listening to me. He put his hand inside his pocket and drew out cloth wrapped sword. From another pocket, he pulled out a letter.

"The Last Will and Testament of the second lady of the lake, Ninianne to her Knights, Rolland of the Round Table I leave Excalibur, in the hope that he will use it well." Peter read it aloud and many of the knights seem to have something to say.

Peter pa.s.sed the well-wrapped sword over to Rolland. It looked like an ordinary sword with its silver coloring, but it was charge with power, just by wielding it, the owner could change the world.

It would seem that the rumors were false but then the sword wasn't in the best condition. It had a crack on the side and it was missing some stones on the base. I think the last holder of the sword was completely stupid, there are spells and magic protecting the artifact and it won't end well. This sword was a time bomb.

"That is a valuable object," said Peter, watching Rolland. "It is very powerful and has always been given to the line after the lady proves herself. Why would she have left you and item?"

Rolland shook his head, looking bewildered and stun. He was not expecting the sword but until I have proven myself it was his to use and guard. I liked it and if I was the successor I probably let him keep it too as I am not a fan of the line or families, I think they were to set on their ways and more than arrogant. I also don't want to use something that was on the verge of being destroied. That legacy is not something I want to add to my name.
