I was safe. I was lucky to be safe. The lady of the lake, however, wasn't, the dark magic wrap around her in a snake-like manner sliding twisting itself around her moving into her skin and finally resting inside of her belly creating an ugly tattoo.
All I could think of was the tattoos. I knew they were Cambodia magic just like what had happened to Venda, she did have much time.
This was really getting bad and if I hadn't had the protection inked into me I would be turning in pain like the lady of the lake and I would have died slowly in less than seven days. The Knights of the Round Table gather around her trying to push the evil out with their power. They were trying to save her the only way they knew how but it wasn't enough. I could feel the vibration in my bone and the spell in reversed pa.s.sed my mind.
"Let me." I shouted pus.h.i.+ng them aside.
She was struggling to breathe. Half beings didn't have the energy to sustain such a fight with black magic.
"We don't have time. I am her best chance of living" I shouted.
It got their attention and they let me do what I had to do to save her. Taking her head and chanted the incarnation on her skin pus.h.i.+ng my magic in taking all that I had and even from my resource pus.h.i.+ng into her trying to get it out of her I knew it was an up-mountain battle but I had no other choice than to try. If I didn't she'd die and I didn't want that on my conscious since I could be the reason she had to die. After all, I did bring danger on to her doorstep quite literately or she could be the target from the beginning. I don' believe in coincident but it didn't mean they couldn't happen. Tired and worn I taped into my source as a last attempt measure.
"Give me her ring and she'll live." the small short hair female shouted.
I think she just appeared.
That is bad.
Really bad.
"Keep the stone safe." the lady whisper.
I nodded, taking the ring from her finger placing it in the palm of the Knight next to us. Using a blood to pull out the stone and weaving in a pa.s.sive spell to create an illusion that the stone was still there when it was not. A nice trick I learned from dear old dad.
"Undo it first," I snarled placing back the stone against the lady's skin.
Just like that the small female pounce the Knight. I think he wasn't expecting that or that she'd put up a fight but it just was how it was going to be.
"Just take her out" I commanded as I laying the stone over the tattoo on her midriff. I channel my energy it was amplified before entering into her. I was doing everything I knew but I don't think it was enough as I felt her aura paled. The spell was too strong. I tried hard pus.h.i.+ng every drop of magic I had into her hoping for a miracle. It didn't work as the power push back three folds against me.
True darkness had fallen over me for I don't know how long. I had no idea how to fight it as I drifted in and out of conscious.
