Chapter 8 人生初見 The First Meeting

訓話完畢，姓徐的青年照高個子的屁股一腳端了上去："跟人道歉，然後滾。你們今年的資格取消，後年東皇祭祀禮時再來。"

After adminis.h.i.+ng them, the youth surnamed Xu kicked the taller man's behind: "Go and apologize to him and scram. Your qualification for this year's Eastern Emperor Sacrifice Ritual will be cancelled. Come try again next year."

   高矮二人一身淋漓大汗，面如金紙，衣衫盡溼，跪在地上不住叩首："謝徐師兄，謝徐師兄……求師兄別告訴周師兄，不然我們定然要被逐出應天川……"

The tall and short men were dripping sweat and their faces were filled with fear. With their clothes wet, they knelt on the ground and kept on kowtowing: "Thanks Senior Brother Xu, thanks Senior Brother Xu… we beg Senior Brother not to tell Senior Brother Zhou, otherwise we will certainly be expelled from Ying Tian Chuan…"

   徐師兄嘴角忍不住一揚，搖着摺扇，道："逐出應天川？要是周北南知道你們犯在我手裡，不把你們腦漿子打出來纔怪。"

Senior Brother Xu could not help but raised his mouth and shook the folding fan, saying: "Expelled from Ying Tian Chuan? If Zhou Bei Nan knows that I caught both of you committing such a crime, it will be strange if he did not beat your brains out."

   高矮二人組瑟瑟發抖："……"

Both of them shuddered: "…"

   將他們逗弄夠了，徐行之也不再刁難他們，由他們跟男童道了歉。

Xu Xing Zhi had enough of teasing them and he no longer made trouble for them. He let them apologize to the young boy.

   沒得到徐行之的允許，他們垂着腦袋，根本不敢起身，而男童只顧盯着徐行之看，滿眼的好奇。

Not getting Xu Xing Zhi's consent, they kept their head bowed and not daring to get up at all, while the young boy only stared at Xu Xing Zhi with curiosity in his eyes.

   徐行之問男童："怎麼樣，願意原諒他們嗎？"

Xu Xing Zhi asked the young boy, "How? Are you willing to forgive them?"

   男童絲毫不看那高矮二人，面對徐行之乖乖點頭："嗯！"

The young boy did not in the slightest bit looked at them but faced Xu Xing Zhi and obediently nodded his head: "En!"

   徐行之俯下身，一手拎了一個，往前方一推："滾滾滾，別給我四門弟子丟人了啊。"

Xu Xing Zhi bent down and held them each in his hands before pus.h.i.+ng them forward: "Scram, don't embarra.s.s the four immortal sects."

   得了徐行之的命令，兩人馭上法器，狼狽而竄，跑得比兔子還快。

At Xu Xing Zhi's command, they both took their magic artifacts and left in faze, they ran even faster than rabbits.

   徐行之擡腳欲走，卻被一隻小爪子牽住了衣裳後襬。

Xu Xing Zhi was about to leave but was told by a little paw holding onto the backs of his clothes.

   男童踮着腳尖，試圖將浮玉果遞到他手裡。

The young boy stood on tiptoe and attempted to stuff the Fuyu fruits into his hands.

   "我用不着這個。"

"I have no use for this."

   "東皇祭祀。不要嗎？"男童眨巴着眼睛，極力推銷，"……他們兩個剛纔都想要的。送你。"

"Eastern Emperor Sacrifice Ritual, don't you need it?" The young boy blinked and tried to promote, "…Both of them wanted it. For you."

   徐行之笑吟吟地用摺扇把男童的小爪子壓下去："他們是參加比賽的，我不是。我是東皇祭祀大會的秩序官。"

Xu Xing Zhi happily smiled and used the folding fan to pushed down the young boy's paws. "They are competing but I am not. I am the Order Officer of the Eastern Emperor Sacrifice Ritual. "

   男童聽不懂，只好抓緊徐行之的衣襬，像是要他給一個解釋。

The young boy could not understand so he grabbed at Xu Xing Zhi's clothes as if he wanted him to give an explanation.

   左右閒來無事，徐行之低頭檢查了一番頸上的珠玉碎鏈，確定珠玉沒有異常，才走向男童剛剛坐着濯足的青巖，跳將上去，又拍拍自己身側，示意男童過來坐。

With nothing else in in his hands, Xu Xing Zhi looked down and checked at the jade bead necklace at his neck, making sure that there was no abnormality in the beads before he walked towards to the blue rock where the young boy was seated at. He jumped on it and patted at the side, motioning the young boy to come and sit.

   男童也涉水走過去，緊靠着徐行之坐下。

The young boy waded over and sat down close to Xu Xing Zhi.

   徐行之說："你倒不認生。"

Xu Xing Zhi said: "You don't resign to fate."

   男童挺膽大地伸手去查看徐行之頸間的珠玉鏈，被徐行之一把抓住了手腕。

The young boy dare reached out his hand to check at the jade beads neaklace between Xu Xing Zhi's neck and was caught by him on the wrist.

   一股靈力悄無聲息地通過手腕經脈滲入男童身體，男童卻面色如常，任由徐行之的靈力在自己奇經八脈間遊走一圈，絲毫不忌。

A spiritual force quietly penetrated into the boy's body through the wrist meridians, but the boy's face was as usual, allowing Xu Xing Zhi's spiritual energy to wander around among his odd meridians, without scruple.

   徐行之驚奇地感嘆一聲："是個有靈根的孩子。"

Xu Xing Zhi sighed in surprise, “He's a child with spiritual roots.”

   男童睜着一雙懵懂的眼睛："什麼是靈根？"

The boy stared with a pair of ignorant eyes: “What is spiritual root?”

   徐行之解釋："凡求仙問道之人，若想有所成，根骨、悟性與努力缺一不可。你的靈根倒是很不錯的。小傢伙，你爹孃呢？"

Xu Xing Zhi explained: "If anyone who seeks immortality and enquires about Tao wants to achieve something, his roots, understanding and efforts are indispensable. Your spiritual roots are very good. What about your parents, little fellow?

   男童低下頭，看向自己的腳尖："沒有。"

The boy looked down at his toes and said, “Don't have.”

   徐行之一愣，隨即寬慰道："沒事兒，我也沒有。"

Xu Xing Zhi was stunned and immediately comforted: “It's all right, I don't have any too.”

   男童把頭埋得更低："我一出生就沒見過我的父母。"

The boy buried his head even lower: “I haven't seen my parents since I was born.”

   "……一樣的。"徐行之輕鬆道，"我只有一個同胞兄長。要不是我師父清靜君收了我作徒弟，我怕是還在街上跟一羣小混混爭地盤。"

“…Same.” Xu Xing Zhi said with ease, “I only have one twin elder brother. If it hadn't been for my Master Qing Jing Jun accepting me as his disciple, I would still be scrambling with a group of gangsters in the street."

   說到這裡，徐行之照例開扇，準備給自己扇扇風，沒想到男童竟然握住了自己的手掌，滿心疼地捏了捏。

Speaking of this, Xu Xing Zhi opened the fan as usual and was ready to fan himself. Unexpectedly, the boy held his palm and pinched it painfully.

   大概是爲了安撫徐行之，男童又捧上了浮玉果："果子。給你吃。"

Probably in order to placate Xu Xing Zhi, the young boy held up the Fuyu fruit again: “Fruit. For you."

   徐行之笑，再次把果子推拒開來："當年第一次來令丘山，共搶了兩顆果子，我偷着吃過一顆。汁多肉鮮，但吃起來渣滓也多，磣牙，不好吃。"

Xu Xing Zhi laughed and pushed the fruit away again: “When I first came to Lingqiu Mountain, I grabbed two fruits. I ate one secretly. It's juicy and fleshy, but it tasted like a lot of dregs and it grits the teeth. It's not nice to eat.

   男童特別認同地點了點頭，把被徐行之判定爲"不好吃"的果子揣好，又提出了問題："你剛纔說，'秩序官'，那是什麼？"

The young boy nodded especially seriously, he took the fruit which Xu Xing Zhi had judged to be “not delicious” and asked the question: “You just said, ‘Order Officer', what is that?”

   徐行之挺耐心地解答："仙道四門每隔兩年都會舉辦東皇祭祀大會。原先，各家弟子不分內外門，一起爭奪祭品，所得祭祀品越多越珍貴，最後便能充當東皇祭祀的祭祀官。我連着六年都是祭祀官，太累了。因此在協商後，我們四門大弟子均不參加爭奪，而是擔任秩序官一職，分管幾片區域，以免比賽中出現問題。"

Xu Xing Zhi answered patiently: “The four immortal sects hold the Eastern Emperpor Sacrifice Ritual every two years. Originally, all the disciples regardless of the rank will competed for the sacrifices together. The more sacrifices they got and the more precious they were. Finally, they could serve as sacrificial officers for the sacrifices of the Eastern Emperor. I've been a sacrificial officer for six years. It's tiring. Therefore, after the consultation, our four head disciples did not partic.i.p.ate in the contest, but served as an order officer, in charge of several areas, in order to avoid problems in the compet.i.tion.

   說罷，他用指尖撐起自己頸間的珠玉碎鏈，將上面幾處閃光點指給男童看："瞧，我分管玉山、令丘、章莪、皋塗、太華五處山巒。祭祀之物都相當難得，往往都有怪物看守；如果有弟子在這五處動用靈力，苦戰不下，我便會前往幫忙。"

After that, he propped up the beads chain between his neck with his fingertips and pointed out the s.h.i.+ning points on it to the boy: “Look, I am in charge of these five mountains Yushan, Lingqiu, Zhange, Gaotu and Taihua. The sacrificial objects are quite rare, and there are often monster guarding them. If disciples use their spiritual power in these five places and have difficulties fighting, I will go and help."

   半月前，徐行之曾來過這裡。

Xu Xing Zhi came here half a month ago.

   他尋遍全山，竟全然沒有發現'顒'出沒的蹤跡，浮玉果也是無獸看守。

He searched all over the mountain, but found no trace of "Youg”, and the Fuyu Fruits also had no beasts guarding them.

   這些個珍寶靈果，竟活像是一堆生長在山野間、靜靜等待腐爛的野生西瓜。

These precious fruit were like a pile of wild watermelons growing in the mountains, waiting to be decayed.

   徐行之解釋："本來我想着前來令丘山找浮玉果的弟子是完全無需動用法力的，算是撿了個大便宜，沒想到他們會動用法力，對你一個凡人出手。"

Xu Xing Zhi explained: “Originally, I thought that the disciples who came to Lingqiu Mountain to look for Fuyu Fruits didn't need to use any spiritual power at all. They were considered to gain a big bargain. I didn't expect that they would use their spiritual power to attack a common person like you.”

   男童配合地露出驚怕的表情，看得徐行之不禁心軟，摸摸他的頭髮，只覺柔軟趁手，便自作主張地多順了好幾下。

The young boy showed a frightening expression in coordination, and Xu Xing Zhi could not help feeling soft-heartened as he saw this. He touched his hair and felt only softness at his fingertips, so he decided to touch more.

   男童沒被人這麼擼過頭髮，先是反射地一聳肩，隨即表情就奇異地放鬆了下來，繼而，他不受控地露出難以言表的表情，舒服得直眯眼睛。

The young boy had never been rubbed at his hair like this before. First he shrugged his shoulders reflectively, then his expression relaxed strangely. Then, uncontrollably, he showed his indescribable expression and squinted comfortably.

   眼見此情此景，徐行之嘖嘖稱奇。

Seeing this scene, Xu Xing Zhi was amazed.

   如果他是隻小家貓，現在應該是被擼得一臉陶醉、呼嚕呼嚕直哼哼。

If he was a kitten, he should be intoxicated by the rubbing now, snoring and humming.

   許是被摸得太舒服，男童索性懶洋洋地趴在了徐行之腿上，用徐行之的膝蓋做枕頭，一臉純良地問："……什麼是'顒'呀。"

Perhaps he was touched too comfortably. The young boy lay idly on Xu Xing Zhi's legs and used Xu Xing's knees like a pillow. He asked with a pure face: “… What is “Yong”?

   徐行之驚訝於他這麼自來熟，用扇子戳了戳他嫩生生的臉頰。

Xu Xing Zhi was surprised at how acting so familiar and poked his tender cheek with his fan.

   一戳一個坑，手感極好。

He poked a pit and it felt great on his hands.

   徐行之回想了一下那怪物青面獠牙的猙獰相，以及碰了它的浮玉果便要追着人不噴死不罷休的可怖模樣，也不欲細答："反正不是什麼好東西。"

Xu Xing Zhi recalled the ferocious appearance of the monster's green face and tusks, and the horrible appearance of chasing those who touched the Fuyu Fruits without stopping, and he did not want to answer in detail: “Anyway, it is not a good thing.”

   男童繼續乖巧發問："那它去哪裡了呀。"

The boy continued to ask cleverly, “Then where did it go?”

   這個問題徐行之也想不通，便自顧自推測道："……或許是搬了家了？"他瞄了一眼男童腳上串着的果子，"你這果子也是上山撿的吧？"

This question was also a mystery to Xu Xing Zhi , so he speculated on his own accord: “…Maybe they moved? He glanced at the fruits strung on the boy's feet. “Did you pick it up on the hill?”

   男童垂下頭，搓着手指："……嗯呢。"

The boy dropped his head and rubbed his fingers: “…En.”

   徐行之問："這山上有異獸，你不怕嗎？"

Xu Xing Zhi asked, “Aren't you afraid of the beasts on this mountain?”

   男童的眼睛微微彎起，笑得極甜，看多了還挺戳心的："我半月前纔到此地。山底下的人都說山裡有怪物，還有好吃的果子。我沒見過怪物，就想上山來看看呀。"

The young boy's eyes were slightly bent, and he laughed sweetly. The more he saw the more he felt it was very provocative: “I came here only half a month ago. The people at the bottom of the mountain say there are beasts and also delicious fruits in the mountains. I haven't seen any beasts, so I'd like to go up and see them.”

   徐行之想，這沒娘帶的孩子還挺虎的。

Xu Xing Zhi thought that his child without his mother with him was quite brave.

   挺好，跟自己一個德行。

That's good, he had the same conduct as him.

   半晌後，他在徐行之的腿上拱啊拱地翻過身來："徐師兄，你叫什麼名字？"

After a while, he turned over on Xu Xing Zhi's leg and arched: “Senior Brother Xu, what's your name?”

   徐行之很痛快地答道："'何妨吟嘯且徐行'，徐行之。你呢？"

Xu Xing Zhi answered with great delight: “He Fang Yin Xiao Qie Xu Xing, Xu Xing Zhi. How about you? “

   男童挺自豪地挺了挺胸脯："光光。"

The young boy proudly raised his chest and said, “Guang Guang.”

   徐行之忍俊不禁："哈哈哈哈哈。"

Xu Xing Zhi couldn't help laughing: “Ha ha ha ha ha.”

   男童詫異："我的名字不好聽嗎？"

The boy wondered: “Does my name sound bad?”

   他跟徐行之解釋，他以前住在與此相隔百里的一座山上，被一個獵戶撿回家，將他養到四歲大時，獵戶在狩獵時不慎跌死了。

He explained to Xu Xing Zhi that he used to live on a mountain a hundred miles away and was picked up by a hunter and brought him up to the age of four. When he was hunting, the hunter accidentally fell and died.

   獵戶家窮，買不起衣服，始終只給他用獸皮裹身體。獵戶死後，他斷了衣食，下山覓食的時候還弄丟了那件獸皮。

The hunter was poor and could not afford to buy clothes. He was always wrapped in animal skins. After the death of the hunter, he was separated from his clothes and food, and lost the animal hide when he went down to look for food.

   後來，他衣不蔽體地下山後，被幾個孩子圍起來嘲笑，被他們丟石頭，還被取了外號。

Later, after he went down the hill in his clothes, he was surrounded by several children who laughed, threw stones at him and gave him a nickname.

   男童蠻委屈地說："那時候他們都叫我光光。我覺得這個名字挺好聽的呀。"

The boy said with greivenaces, “At that time they all called me Guang Guang. I think the name sounds good."

   徐行之笑得直拍腿："哈哈哈哈哈。"

Xu Xing Zhi laughed and clapped his leg. “Ha ha ha ha ha.”

   聊了半天，徐行之瞧瞧天色，推一推小孩兒的腦袋："起來起來。二光，我要走了。"

After chatting for a long time, Xu Xing Zhi looked at the sky and pushed the child's head: “Get up. Er Guang, I'm leaving now.”

   來不及糾正徐行之對自己的稱呼，男童飛快爬起，央求道："徐師兄，你留下來吧。"

Before he could correct Xu Xing Zhi's address to himself, the boy quickly climbed up and begged, “Senior Brother Xu, stay here.”

   徐行之感覺有些好笑，摸摸他的頭髮，道："徐師兄是風陵山首徒。留在這裡能做什麼？"

Xu Xingzhi felt this was rather funny. He touched his hair and said, “Senior Brother Xu is the head disicple in Fengling Mountain. What can I do here if I stay here?

   男童神情天真："留在這裡陪我呀。你好有意思，我想和你永遠在一起。"

The boy looked innocent: “Stay here with me. You are very interesting. I want to be with you forever."

   徐行之捏一捏他的鼻子，笑道："……這恐怕不行。"

Xu Xing Zhi pinched his nose and laughed:  "…I'm afraid not."

   男童的表情微微變了。

The young boy's expression changed slightly.

   他的食指和拇指微合，十數條藤蔓從青巖背陰處鬼魅般旋繞而出，沿着巖面，如毒蛇遊走而上。

His forefinger and thumb slightly coincided, and more than a dozen vines spiral out of the shadows of the green rock, along the rock surface, like poisonous snakes.

   徐行之甚至沒能發現他在做些什麼，縱身躍下青巖，拍了拍屁股上的灰塵，邁步欲走。

Xu Xing Zhi did not realise what he was doing. He jumped down the green stone and patted the dust on his b.u.t.tocks, and was about to walk.

   千鈞一髮之際，男童靈犀猛然一動，鬆開了緊掐的雙指，藤蔓立即縮回地面，消失無蹤。

At the matter of life or death, the boy's thoughts suddenly turned, he oosened his tightly pinched fingers, and the vine immediately retracted to the ground, disappearing without trace.

   他蹲下身，解開足上的藤蔓，幾步搶上去，拉住徐行之的廣袖："徐師兄！我拿着這個，可以入你門下嗎？"

He squatted down, unfastened the vines on his feet, grabbed Xu Xing Zhi's sleeve in a few steps and said, “Sernior Brother Xu! May I come under your door with this?

   他殷勤地將那珍果寶物遞蘿蔔似的遞了過來，在徐行之面前一晃一晃。

He graciously handed over the precious fruit like a radish and shook it in front of Xu Xing Zhi.

   徐行之凝眉。

Xu Xingzhi frowned.

   ……這孩子沒家人，靈根又出挑，渾然如一塊璞玉，的確是個修仙煉丹之才。

…This child had no family and his spiritual root was beyong expected. He was like a piece of jade, indeed a talent to practice immoirtaility and alcehemy.

   白白放他在山林村鎮間孤身一人遊蕩，着實可惜，也可憐。

It's a pity that to let he wandered alone among the villages and towns in the mountains.

   徐行之接過這串浮玉果，細思一番後便道："……也不是不行。不過我們這一輩還不讓收徒。……我先帶你回去吧，你靈根不錯，又帶了這一串果子回去，師叔師伯都會喜歡你的，到時候願意拜入風陵山哪位的門下，你告訴我便是。"

Xu Xing Zhi took this bunch of Fuyu fruits and thought about it carefully, then he said, “…It's not impossible either. But we are not allowed to accept apprentices in our generation. I'll take you back first. You have a good spiritual root and you even brought this bunch of fruits back. All teachers and uncles will like you. You can tell me which one of them you like at Fengling Mountain."

   男童堅決搖搖頭，眼睛小麂子似的明亮動人："……我只要和你做師兄弟，別人我都不要。"

The young boy shook his head resolutely, and his eyes were as bright as muntjac: “… I just want to be your junior brother, I don't want anyone else."

   徐行之樂了："你倒真會挑。我師父清靜君可是風陵山山主。"

Xu Xing Zhi said, “You really can choose. My master, Qing Jingjun, is the lord of Fengling Mountain.

   言罷，他捉住男童的手，將他一把抓起，攬入懷中，手指捻上了自己頸項間玉珠中最大的一顆，催動靈力。

Then he grabbed the young boy's hand and took him in his arms.

   只見一朵泛着碧色的光輪自他指尖燃起，徐行之手臂一展，將那小如指甲蓋的光輪向半空中拋去。

A blue light wheel from his fingertips ignited, Xu Xing Zhi's arm was revealed and the small as a fingernail of the light wheel was thrown into the air.

   光輪如長鯨吸水，望風而長，轉瞬間就有了一扇門的大小。

The light wheel was like a whale absorbing the water, watching the wind for a long time. In a twinkling of an eye, it had the size of a door.

   徐行之抱住男童，溫聲命令："閉眼。"

Xu Xing Zhi embraced the boy and ordered in a warm voice, “Close your eyes.”

   男童伏在徐行之懷裡，攥緊了他胸前的衣服，把臉埋進他的胸口，額頭輕抵着他的鎖骨："嗯。"

The young boy lay in Xu Xing Zhi's arms, grabbed his clothes on his chest, buried his face in his chest, and put his forehead against his clavicle: “En.”

   徐行之縱身躍入碧色光門之中，只一眨眼，便同男童一道消失在了莽荒的山野間。

Xu Xing Zhi jumped into the blue light gate and disappeared with the boy in the wild hills in a blink of an eye.

   場景剎那改換，不消半刻，徐行之便重新翩然。

The scene changed in an instant. It took no longer than a instant for Xu Xing Zhi to move again.

   四周的景象早已不是深谷幽林，疏淡蓼煙。在高臺秀境、池亭藕花間，身着不同服制的仙門弟子來來往往，見了徐行之，無不停住腳步、恭恭敬敬地喚上一聲"徐師兄好"。

The surrounding scenery was no longer the deep valley forest with spa.r.s.e smoke but in a elegant place with pavilion and flowers blossoming, the immortal sect disciples dressed in different uniforms came and went, they saw Xu Xing Zhi and called out a “Greeting, Senior Brother Xu” respectfully, without stopping their footstep.

   徐行之手夾摺扇，單手懷抱着男童，習以爲常地受了禮，同時在他耳畔低語道："二光，到了這兒，別說你叫光光，更別跟人家解釋說你'光光'的名字是怎麼來的。知道了嗎？"

Xu Xing Zhi's hands held the folding fan and held the boy in the other hand. He accepted the greeting as usual. At the same time, he whispered in his ear, “Er Guang, when you come here, don't say you are Guang Guang, let alone explain to others how your name “Guang Guang” came from. Do you know?”

   懷裡的小孩兒乖乖地："好。那徐師兄，我應該叫什麼名字呢？"

The child his is arms obediently said: "Okay. Then Senior Brother Xu, what should i be called?"

   徐行之用扇子搔搔耳根，也卡了殼。

Xu Xing Zhi scractched his ears with his folding fan. He was stuck.

   很快，徐行之在一人面前停住了腳步。

Very fast, Xu Xing Zhi stopped in front of a person.

   曲馳如所有丹陽峰弟子一樣，朱衣素帶，寬袍廣袖，一柄玉柄拂塵靜臥在他臂間，根根素白流紈傾瀉而下。

Like all the disciple of Danyang Peak, a plain dressing with wide gown and sleeve, a duster with jade handle lay queitly in his arms. The white hairs flew down like stream.

   他語調溫煦地同徐行之打招呼："從令丘山回來了？那裡是什麼情況？"

His tone was warm as he greeted Xu Xing Zhi: "Back from Lingqiu Mountain? What's the situation there?"

   徐行之並不急着作答，四下張望道："周胖子呢？"

Xu Xing Zhi was not in a hurry to asnwer and he looked around and said: "What about Fatty Zhou?"

   曲馳答："北南去青丘了。雪塵去了堯光山。我剛剛纔從招搖山回來。"

Qu Chi answered: "Bei Nan went to Qingqiu. Xue Chen went to Yaoguang Mountain. I just came back from Zhangyao Mountain."

   徐行之驚訝："今年夠忙的啊。雪塵都去了。……我這邊沒什麼大事，碰上兩個應天川的傻瓜弟子，我教訓教訓也就罷了。"

Xu Xing Zhi was surprised: "This year is sure busy, even Xue Chen went….Nothing serious happened at my side. Just two foolish disciple from Ying Tian Chuan and I taught them a lesson."

   曲馳注意到了趴在徐行之懷裡的重光："這孩子是……"

Qu Chi noticed the young boy lying in Xu Xing Zhi's arms: "This child is…"

   徐行之自然答道："是我撿回來的小孩，靈根不錯。"他轉過來，把小孩兒的臉展示給曲馳看，"看看，可漂亮了。"

Xu Xing Zhi naturally answered: "I picked this child up. His spirtual root is pretty good." He turned around and showed Qu Chi his face, "Take a look, he is beautiful."

   小孩兒被徐行之誇讚，摟緊了他的胳膊，受用地在他懷裡蹭了蹭。

The child was praised by Xu Xing Zhi and he tightly clutched at his arms. He rubbed himself against his embrace.

   曲馳淺淺一笑："你倒是愛養孩子。"

Qu Chi gave a faint smile: "You sure love to raise children."

   徐行之眼睛一眨，得意道："羨慕吧？不會養吧？養不起吧？"

Xu Xing Zhi blinked and spoke with pride: "Aren't you envious? You don't know how to raise right? Can't afford to raise right?"

   曲馳無奈笑笑："……他叫什麼名字？"

Qu Chi helplessly laughed: "…What's his name?"

   徐行之："……呃——重光。"

Xu Xing Zhi: "…Hm-Zhong Guang."

   曲馳哭笑不得："……怎麼聽起來像是你現起的。"

Qu Zhi was close to tears: "…Why does it feel like you just made this up."

   徐行之一本正經地胡說八道："哪裡有。不信你問他。"

Xu Xing Zhi spoke righteously with his gabbage words: "How is this possible. Ask him if you don't believe."

   重光很快接受了這個草率的設定："是的。"

   徐行之嘿嘿一笑。

   曲馳問："你就這麼帶着他嗎？"

   少年清秀，卻天然帶着一股冷情意味，彷彿世間之事均與他無關。

The youth was handsome but he contained a air of indifference as if the world affair was no significant to him.

   但在瞧見徐行之後，他的眼中竟憑空生出了一股人間氣息，有些鋒利的棱角頃刻軟化成了弱水三千："師兄回來了？"

But after seeing Xu Xing Zhi, his eyes reflected a human like aura. The sharp edges instandly soften into water: "Senior Brother is back?"

   ……他甚至根本沒有第一時間把重光看進眼裡去，直到注意到徐行之單手摟抱着重光的動作，眸光才驟然冷了下去。

…He basically did not place any importance to Zhong Guang until he noticed Xu Xing Zhi's action of carrying Zhong Guang single handedly. The light in his eyes abruptly dimmed.

   重光歪了歪腦袋。

Zhong Guang t.i.ted his head.

   徐行之把重光放下，往九枝燈的方向推了推："小燈，這是重光。你先照顧着他，給他拿些吃食和衣物。"

Xu Xing Zhi put down Meng Guang and pushed him towards Jiu Zhi Deng's direction: "Xiao Deng, this is Zhong Guang. Take care of him first and give and some food and clothings."

   九枝燈眉心皺着，答得勉強："是，師兄。"

Jiu Zhi Deng's eywbrows furrowed and he answered with relunctancy: "Yes, Senior Brother."

   重光倒沒有對九枝燈表現出什麼情緒。他背過身去，仰着腦袋問徐行之："徐師兄，我會很乖的。你什麼時候來接我呀。"

Zhong Guang did not reveal any emotions flucations regarding Jiu Zhi Deng's performance. He bent over and lifted his head up at Xu Xing Zhi: "Senior Brother Xu, I will be very obedient. When will you come back to fetch me?"

   徐行之俯下身去，又摸摸他軟得出奇的頭髮："這三日都是東皇祭祀前的比賽，會比較忙，不過我今晚就會去小燈那裡看你。"

Xu Xing Zhi bent down his body and touched at his extremely soft hairs that brings wonder: "These three days will be before the Eastern Emporer Ritual compet.i.tion. It will be slightly busier. But I will come and see you tonight at Xiao Deng's."

   重光踮起腳尖，趁徐行之不察，親了一口他的臉頰。

   他揹着小手，眉眼間都是一晃一晃的甜蜜糖果味道："……徐師兄，我等你來呀。"

He hugged his hands, in between his brows were layers of the sweet taste of candies and he said: "…Senior Brother Xu, I will wait for you."
