To Li Yuan she looked like a cub barring her teeth to guard her hunted animal.

Amused Li Yuan extended his hand and caressed her cheeks tenderly and said with a low, calm voice, "Let the girl go. You want to play, I will let you play later."

Because Li Yuan said it in a low voice n.o.body except Lei Xinyi and Yun Qianqian heard it. Yun Qianqian looked at both of them in bewilderment; He was literally offering her like a sacrifice.

Seeing as Lei Xinyi was still glaring daggers at him, he stepped forward and held her hand that was on Yun Qianqian's back and gently got her hand to release Yun Qianqian hand then he made her stand straight leaving Yun Qianqian crying on the floor.

Lei Xinyi was glaring at him with pursed lips. Li Yuan brought his lips close to her ear and said in his magnetic voice, "No matter how much you turn me on acting like a wild kitten, remember you still have to prove that you aren't guilty."

Saying that Li Yuan let her hand go and said for everyone to hear, "You have 15 minutes to prove you are innocent. I have a meeting in 20 minutes and I don't have time for anymore drama."

All the conference room was silenced as the Emperor decree was pa.s.sed, even Yun Qiannqian who was on the floor stifled her cries. Li Yuan was emanating a chilling aura that forced everyone to hold their breaths.

Yun Qianqian and Jiang Qinqin wanted to stop them but didn't dare say a word in front of CEO Li.

Pursing her lips Lei Xinyi anger was flared even more by Li Yuan's bossy att.i.tude, if she wasn't scared of his hostility she would have smacked him by now.

Lei Xinyi turned to Fan Bingbing and said, "In your inspection did the security find anything with the drug scent on it."

"No, they didn't." Fan Bingbing shook her head and said.

Pointing to the plastic packets with her left hand, Lei Xinyi said, "Then the only way I could have added the drug is either by the gloves or by my hand which should have the scent on it."

Nodding his head lightly Li Yuan indicated a female employee to come forward, the woman immediately came forward, "Sniff the coffee and the drug and then Xinyi hand and gloves."

The employees were stunned by the intimate way the CEO called Lei Xinyi but Li Yuan and Lei Xinyi didn't notice their surprise.

Li Yuan asked a random woman to be a neutral party so that n.o.body will have objections or doubts about the judgment.

The woman did as told and sniffed the coffee and drug after opening the drug packet and nodded her head and said, "CEO Li, it is the same drug that is added to the coffee."

a.s.sistant Ji offered her a gla.s.s of water to neutralize her smell sensory organs, taking a gulp she went close to the gloves packet and sniffed it, keeping it back she went close to Lei Xinyi and asked for her hand.

Lei Xinyi looked between Yun Qianqian and Jiang Qinqin then lifted her hand for her to sniff.

After sniffing her hand the woman retreated some steps back, and said, "Sir, the gloves smell like sanitizer and Ms. Lu hand smell like coffee, none of it has the drug smell on it."

Lei Xinyi looked at Jiang Qinqin and said, "My hands would smell like that Drug if that was me who put that drug in it. Since I didn't, so my hands would obviously not smell like it."

Jiang Qinqin felt anxious all of a sudden. Did Lu Xinyi see her? Is that why she was so calm?

Getting frantic by the Lu Xinyi's calm words Jiang Qinqin said hurriedly, "Lu Xinyi, you made the coffee and brought it here, everyone saw that. No one but you came in contact with it so, why you are blaming others for your crime? You were alone in the pantry how do we know what you did there?"

Lei Xinyi smirked and took a step forward in Jiang Qinqin's direction, "Yes, I was alone in the pantry… Fan Bingbing did you find any traces of this drug in the pantry or anywhere for that matter?" Lei Xinyi asked still maintaining eye contact with Jiang Qinqin.

"No, Ms. Lu. As I said earlier there was none." Fan Bingbing replied.

Turning to the woman Li Yuan called to testify Lei Xinyi asked, "You have sniffed my hands and that doesn't smell like that drug, right?"

"Yes Ms. Lu." Lei Xinyi heard the woman say.

Lei Xinyi brought her hand on the desk where the coffee was placed and swiped it on it. Bringing her hand back to the woman Lei Xinyi asked, "Now does it smell like that drug?"

The woman sniffed her hand and her eyed widened, "Yes Ms. Lu It does."

Jiang Qinqin fidgeted her hands in panic, after putting the drug in the coffee she blew on the table to disperse the remaining of the drug that was on the table but of course some particles can't be removed unless swiped with a cloth.

Turning and facing Li Yuan, Lei Xinyi said, "That means that the drug was added here in the conference room. If I added that drug in your coffee, I would have added it in the pantry where no one would see or suspect me."

Jiang Qinqin saw the soft smile CEO Li had on his lips while looking at Lei Xinyi and felt herself turn green with envy.

n.o.body deserved that smile but her. No matter what she will not let her escape from this allegation and come clean.

Before Li Yuan could say anything, Jiang Qinqin looked at Lei Xinyi and said, "But what if it was you who added the drug here, so that you could bail yourself out of the blame and frame someone else."
