The whole ride was too solemn to be true for her.

Madam Lu was on her phone with some elite lady of the society backbiting about one of their mutual friend and all Lei Xinyi could do was play the game she usually played to kill boredom.

Handing a heavy Mahogany wooden box to Lei Xinyi Madam Lu said, "Hand this to your future mother-in-law. Say you prepared this Narcissus Wyui Oolong tea for her yourself. It is rarest of its kind. It will break the ice a little."

Unknowingly every woman felt their heart stings fluttering by one look at the pain on the beautiful youth face. Madam Li felt the same but instantly hardened her heart.

As Lei Xinyi reached close to madam Li she greeted her gracefully bit her lower lip nervously and brought the tea wooden box forward, "Mom, I… I prepared this Narcissus Wyui Oolong tea for you. It is rare and refined to its finest. I hope you will like it."

Madam Li was infuriated by the girl calling her 'MOM' when she never acknowledged the girl but she couldn't say anything in front of these socialites to preserve her image.

Madam Li looked at the rare tea box with disdain and then turned her eyes filled with rage on Lei Xinyi. She slapped her hand hard on the table.

Lei Xinyi pretended to be intimidated as she jumped a step backward with fright. Inwardly Lei Xinyi rolled her eyes at the prideful mannequin tantrum.

Madam Li sneered and said with suppressed rage, "You hope I will like it?! You think I will ever like anything ever about you?! First you act like a wh*re and elope with some man then defame Xiao Chenchen in front of public!"
