There were twelve different world-famous designers who exceeded all traditional boundaries in their world. 

They were called from the all over the world with their Best Wedding pieces. Lei Xinyi could see the nepotism. Five of the designers were Italian.

Lei Xinyi eyes lit up looking at Alex waving at her subtly, she waved back at the familiar face before her face soured looking at Su Qianwei sitting on the coffee table, reading a cla.s.sic literature book. 

She saw them and a smile lit her glowing face with ripped-red cheeks. She stood up to greet them.

Inviting an ex-fiance to the wedding dress selection, she had to say Old Madam Li had an intense sense of humour!

Old Madam Li smiled fondly at the auburn-haired beauty with adoration and disappointment. Lei Xinyi saw that and her smile turned forced. 

Obviously the b*tch had the Old Madam Li support and backing, deep roots! She had heard of Li Yuan's previous engagement with her...

"Qianwei here wanted to help you, Lu Xinyi, in selecting the dress. She had always had a unique taste! She will be a great support to you." The insinuation was as clear in her words as was the warning in her eyes.

She shouldn't cause a scene and that Su Qianwei had exquisite taste while she didn't. 

She even made the boundaries clear by 'Qianwei' and 'Lu Xinyi' but she would be d.a.m.ned if she gave a flying f*ck to theses petty tricks of these silicon socialites.

"Grandma, you exaggerate! But I will try to be helpful to the best of my capabilities." Su Qianwei replied with an innocent smile.

'That pretentious b*tch! She was far more vicious when she wasn't bearing her talons!' Lei Xinyi thought but her fake smile didn't falter for a moment.

"We really hope you do it to the best of your capability as we are sure we wouldn't want the bride hairs looking like they were... on fire." Lei Xinyi eyed her ombre auburn-red hairs, suppressing a laugh.

She coughed to cover her laugh, "But I must say that is quite...unique."

Old Madam Li face hardened and her smile disappeared. Su Qianwei none the less kept her appearance.

Lei Xinyi was calling her hairs fake and ludicrous!

She nodded her head and smiled sweetly, "Right! We wouldn't. After all, every bride can't pull it off."

That was right. Though it would look a little ludicrous on many but on Su Qianwei well-tanned olive skin it looked effortlessly gorgeous but a scorned woman would never admit that!

Lei Xinyi giggled in pure mock, "Well, many grooms are grateful that their brides can't. Though I must say... it would look immature on many other girls but you sure manage to look hot in them... red-hot."

It was clear she was calling her signature style a high-school childish-girl stupidity to gain attention but it efficiently shut her up.

Lei Xinyi smirked. They couldn't do sh*t to her. She was 'pregnant'.

She turned to the designers, who were standing by their mannequins, exhibiting their creations, now.

She wanted to get over with it now. The red-flapping chicken was getting on her nerves!

Every dress in the room was gorgeous and made you gaze but one dress, in particular, called for her in the flimsy and lacey garments.

A body-hugging rose-gold mermaid tail gown with a heart-neckline. It had a belt of small rubies. 

Pink diamond cascading down its tail like a waterfall, lessening till it's extended tail from behind that would drag when the bride moved.

The veil had a crown of rubies and pink diamonds in contrast and the mannequin was adorning blood-red tear-drop earrings and a heavy necklace.

Near its foot were rose-gold stilettos with rubies on them. Looked like she was going for a pa.s.sionate brides' look?!

It felt like a blood-commitment, the allure of the dress radiated pa.s.sion as blinding as love.

Lei Xinyi extended her hand to touch the softest silk she had ever felt. Her fingertips caressed the softness in a trance. Her thoughts were drifting to how it will never be adorned by a bride.

Little did she know she was going to be the very bride who was going adorn it. 

Lei Xinyi tore her eyes from the dress to see Alex grinning at her.

Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes with a smirk, "You don't disappoint."

Alex shrugged with a twin smirk, "Well, I heard I was dressing a Red Queen so, I could only get the one that would suit her crown."

Then giggled and whispered-yelled close to her ear, "'He' hand-picked it for you and even suggested the modification himself!"

Lei Xinyi eyes snapped back to the dress. That explains it!

But why would he? Weren't they not-on-good terms? Then this...?

Everybody had reached there too and Alex defined her dress and how it was never worn by any model. It was one of the most expensive Wedding dress by 30 million dollar price.

Alex held the dress to go in the dressing room to help Lei Xinyi wear when Su Qianwei stopped them.

"I would like to a.s.sist the bride." Then eyed Lei Xinyi, "That is, of course... if the Bride doesn't mind."

Lei Xinyi gave her a side-smirk, "Well, why would I? Please wait outside, I will call for you."

Alex made a face and Lei Xinyi gave her a smile that said 'later'. She took the dress and went behind the crimson curtains

She wore the dress with difficulty then eyed the zipper on her back, it was too deep that even if she tried she wouldn't be able to touch it. So she called for Su QIanwei.

Who came in with a pillow that had all her accessories on it. Keeping it on the table, she zipped Lei Xinyi dress.

"It fits." She murmured as she eyed Lei Xinyi dress in pure awe.

Of course, it did. Alex must know her size as efficiently now, that she could recall it even in her sleep! After all, she had made her a dozen dresses.

Su Qianwei held the earrings and put them in Lei Xinyi's piercing then even made her wear the ruby necklace.

There was no need for all of that. They were only here to check the fitting and if any modification were needed but Lei Xinyi only frowned and didn't stop her.

Su Qainwei eyed her with a soft smile of an elder sister for once that she was and caressed her chocolate black hairs with...affection. That is how their relations.h.i.+p was like!

"You look beautiful." She whispered in her ear. Then her smile turned to a smirk and she took a step back, "It's such a shame 'he' would never see you in it."

She eyed the dress with her mocking smirk, "You know, rubies are my favourite and.." She turned a ring on her pinky finger that had a ruby ring in it. Then held up for Lei Xinyi to see.

"...And my engagement ring had a ruby in it." Then came close to her ear and said dragging each word, "... 'Handpicked' by 'him'."
