'Absolute Strength . . . . .' thought Draig as he compared his current ability to that of the Founder and found himself lacking entirely.
Lord Asura heard the taunt and growled, but didn't act again. He didn't know how to feel at this moment, the goofy grandpa from before seemed to have disappeared as he faced the first opponent that could actually suppress him in centuries.
He was someone that the Deva a.s.sociation recognized as an Old Monster but this person before him that resided in Draig's Avatar was something else entirely. If he was a monster then this person was the devil himself, and he kept claiming to be the boy's grandfather at that.
If there was any truth to those words then how powerful would the brat become if allowed to grow further, would he be surpa.s.sed by him as well?
These thoughts plagued the mind of the one Known as the Apex Deva for a bit before his face became a bit stern. He didn't like this feeling of being helpless against an opponent, he hadn't felt like this since he was only a young boy and the first Deva began appearing. The demon's ran rampant throughout the land and he was only from a small village, his parents were poor but did their best to make sure he didn't go without. It was from this nurturing that he was able to become strong enough to actually manifest and show himself as a Deva, he went on to become one of the most influential Deva of his time and eventualy founded the Deva a.s.sociation.
Since that time he had been known as an Apex existence that couldn't be fought against, he had even grown his Deva Abilities to the point where he was nearly immortal. There was no one that could be seen as his equal. . .
It was for these reasons that he found himself in shock, he hadn't intended to kill Draig from the beginning. He merely wished to punish him as Chidori's grandfather but it turned out that he wasn't the only Super gramps, in fact when compared to the person before him it was as if he was just a novice.
He took a few deep breaths before eventually calling a quits to this, it would only serve to hurt his pride and embarra.s.s him in front of his granddaughter.
"Just keep your lecherous brat away from my Chidori" huffed Lord Asura turning his back on Draig and the Founder.
The Founder seemed to develop a giant tick mark.
"You keep your loose descendant away from mine you windy headed fool" called the Founder but as soon as he spoke he felt his energy weaken.
'd.a.m.n got to return to the brat before I fade. . .' thought the Founder returning to Draig and becoming his Avatar once again though as soon as it happened he faded away again and Draig once again had no way of making contact.
Chidori however was staring Draig down as if she had caught some sort of prize, her interest was piqued the moment she watched Lord Asura call a quits to the match up against the Founder.
It wasn't a simple matter to defeat the Apex existence of the Deva a.s.sociation, there were none who were capable of doing so. At least that was the belief of those who were aware of Lord Asura's continued existence.
"Chidori, come on. I don't want you around that lech, heavens forbid if you're alone with him unsupervised" called Lord Asura with a s.h.i.+ver.
It was obvious that the woman who had used Draig for her entertainment had altered the man in a severe way, there was seemingly nothing left of the former personality he held. However there was still more to come as he wasn't the only one affected by the woman's meddling.
Draig heard what Lord Asura had said but he couldn't be bothered by it as he had his own thoughts at the moment, it was the difference between his and the Founder's strength that bothered him. He knew that he would become stronger as he became older and that this time his physical prowess would easily dwarf that which possessed in his previous world but would it be able to match the indomitable might of the Founder.
This wasn't even considering the strength that the Founder's Vampire Lord Form possessed, though Draig still felt that his was the superior of the two however it wouldn't matter if his base strength was weaker than the Founder's.
Cursing to himself Draig planned to return to his room only to realize that it was gone. . . .
Staring at the building that was now half destroyed Draig couldn't help but feel that he was the one that had truly suffered today and in a sense he was the one who suffered the most loss. Having been falsely accused and suffer from being on the receiving end of an Apex Existence's ire to losing his home.
The Feratu growled to himself before pulling back his fist and and sending it forward knocking out the foundation to the building bring the rest of it falling seemingly not caring for the building's contents.
As the Vampire stared at the fallen building he looked through it and began sifting through the mess, he would take any materials worth salvaging and use them to build himself a smaller abode though he would place it over the underground storage that the Unaffiliated had built to store the goods they had taken from the Spliced Faction's camp.
Off to the side Lord Asura noticed that Chidori hadn't come yet.
"Chidori I'm leaving" called Lord Asura as if to remind her.
Chidori had been hesitating but she wished to try something regardless of how she might be punished if this was all just an act by the old man. . .
"I want to stay Grandfather. . . ." stated Chidori meekly as she weakly tested the waters.
Lord Asura despite what she thought just dropped his jaw before tears comically flowed from his eyes as he pounced and hugged her legs.
"Chidoriiiiiii" cried Lord Asura causign Chidori to flinch when he pounced due to previous encounters.
"You're too young to be interested in boys, especially this one. Look at him with his perverted eyes, it's like he is undressing you already, it's not safe for you to be around him. You should come home with grandpa where you will be safe and far away from this boy" spoke Lord Asura in whiny voice seeming pitiful as compared to the stunning display he had shown against the Founder.
