Draig walked through the mostly ruined camp and reunited with his faction only to find them surrounded, he sighed as he shook his head and drew his sword.
"Systematic Slaying: Conqueror's Fang" spoke Draig loud enough for the enemy's attention to fall on him who seemed to blur from his position and appear on the other side of their circle.
Draig allowed the Thousand Fold Blade to click back into it's sheath which seemed to be the signal as several of the people who had been in his way fell to pieces alarming the rest.
"Such a waste of manpower" muttered Draig but the silence from his previous action allowed it to be heard by everyone present.
"W-who the h.e.l.l are you" shouted one of the Spliced Faction members in a frightened manner.
"There are two answers to that question, I am either your new master or. . . . . I am your killer" stated Draig simply causing the people surrounding his group to become speechless.
The display of power was definitely impressive but to think they would surrender from just that, they started grip their swords tighter.
As if sensing this Draig decided to make a bit of effort in his 'recruiting' as his Skin began to turn black signaling his Hybrid form which caused those who had been finding their will to fight to back up noticeably.
"Your leader is dead already, you have no backing." stated Draig as he put away the Thousand Fold Blade in preference of his 'Brush'.
Draig was used to the idea of enslaving people and a.s.similating them into his fold, just now it seemed he had to settle for servants of poor quality.
It was far quicker than before, the Feratu disappeared completely as several grunts and pained squeals filled the air until Draig returned to his position while cancelling his transformation.
The Feratu Faction seemed to be confused about the actions of their master and wished to ask but he didn't seem like the person he was only hours before. It seemed he was a bit colder, as if he was looking down from a mountain top. It was a overwhelming aura that danced about his figure and it couldn't be ignored.
Souta however didn't seem to notice or maybe he had been feeling the aura the entire time, regardless he quickly kneeled before his master.
"Lord, what is the next plan of action" asked Souta religiously as if the words spoken would be the command of G.o.d himself.
"Use this and have the slaves gather everything here and return to my Estate" stated Draig as he pierced the palm of Souta and caused a red Rune to appear.
Souta winced when he felt the p.r.i.c.k from the Feratu's claw but watched in wonder as the rune came into existence causing him a bit of pride.
'The Lord trusts me, to give me command over so many people. It is truly great to serve such a person' admired Souta before rising to his feet and setting to his task obediently.
Draig sighed as he watched them before scanning his eyes over the crowd and searching for Ginji only to find the Grave Forger missing, this caused the Feratu's eyes to narrow.
"Where is my Smith" demanded Draig as a bit of pressure began to encompa.s.s the area.
"Faction Leader, we believe he entered the valley already" explained the one of the random Deva who had fallen under his leaders.h.i.+p.
"Then half of you go and a.s.sist him while the rest of you go and round up any loose ends, kill or capture it doesn't matter but the more we have captured the less labor you will all have to do" stated Draig encouraging them to collect more slaves among the Spliced Faction.
His actions were more reminiscent of the one who was the Heir of Feratu now rather than the one who was the only Feratu, one who enslaved and slaughtered without care while the other was exploring himself in a new world.
It was a clash between personalities and actions but the Founder's intervention seemed to pull that cruel soul back into existence instead of allowing Draig to become his own person.
It was a wonder when he would grow beyond the reaches of the Founder's words, however he was the strongest person Driag had ever known. If his power came from the cruelty he displayed then shouldn't Draig follow the same path, though this came into conflict with what he had seen from Zarra, Jared, and Gregory.
The three may not have been as powerful seperately but when they came together they were able to defeat the Founder, these thoughts filled Draig's head as he walked towards the valley.
'Haven't I gone farther than the Founder already. . .' came the sudden thought as he thought about his hybrid form and the Silent G.o.d that resided in his chest acting as his new heart.
Didn't he have the potential for unlimited power like this. . . .
'Do I really need to follow the footsteps of Feras' asked Draig as he thought to himself.
It was a confusing situation but as he walked Draig slowly came to his own decision, his hybrid form he felt was stronger Feras Tullani's Vampire form. He used the power of three powerful beings to become a hybrid, this came with many of it's own benefits that he would be able to see as he grew older and fully awakened his power.
Besides this fact he possessed the power of a Deva now, in fact one of his Avatars was the Founder. How easily could he defeat the Founder using his own power against him.
Draig felt his confidence building before calming himself as the coldness that was hanging about him seemed to thaw a bit.
He stepped into the valley that was the resting place of countless Deva but saw no signs of Ginji around the entrance.
Sighing Draig kept walking with a silent pledge to to punish the Smith for running ahead.
