The intense stare from her, caused Yang to become nervous. Did he have something on his face? Or did he say something stupid again?
"Yes." He nodded.
"There are no other reasons?" She questioned him with a sceptical tone.
He gulped at the question, but still held on to his claim. The way she looked at him as if he was an ant under the microscope, caused him unease.
"No need, but thanks." The Ice G.o.d said as she twirled around and started to walk away.
The sight of her walking away from him, caused the Fire G.o.d to feel alarmed. He rushed after her and stopped her by throwing a green Fire Ball in front of her.
"Wait, that's not the only reason." He threw out before he could stop himself.
When he managed to catch up, he cursed himself for his impulsivness. Even if he wanted her attention, he shouldn't have done something so stupid. Now, he couldn't retreat and keep his feelings hidden anymore.
Yin said nothing and just waited for him to speak up for himself. Yang understood her silent body language and took a deep breath.
"I like you." He mumbled so quietly that his crush almost didn't hear him. In nervosity, he played with his fingers, before he realized it and ceased the movements. Instead he grabbed onto his sleeves and held on tightly.
His eyes had been focused on the ground ever since he decided to open his mouth, as he didn't dare to see her reaction. Because of this, he missed out a chance to see something warm flash through Yin's eyes. Just as fast as it appeared, it also disappeared.
Despite the fact that she registered Yang's declaration, she acted as if she truly didn't catch his words. She would after all never let go of a moment to tease this bold yet shy little guy.
"What did you say?" She asked with a clear voice.
Yang started now to breath harshly, as he tried to calm his racing heart. He counted mentally to three, before rising his head and staring at Yin with strong determination.
"I said, I like you!"
