5 Inexplicable Feeling

Her hands and legs wrapped around him as though she was trying to lose herself in Ci-ci's arms. 'Help me forget…'

Milana's small mouth happily accepted Ci-ci's rough tongue, her hands running through his hair with a desperate pa.s.sion – unwilling to let him go.

Ci-ci pulled back slowly, looking into her eyes as she moaned in disappointment.

Milana couldn't help but s.h.i.+ver under Ci-ci's gaze – she could almost see the fire lighting in his eyes. A fire that was all the more obvious considering the bulge that was growing against her crotch right now.

Reaching up, Ci-ci took off her large gla.s.ses, gently placing them to the side before pulling her blouse up.

Milana's chest reddened, her heart beating wildly as Ci-ci planted a kiss on her exposed collarbone.

"So beautiful…" Ci-ci whispered, taking in Milana's light brown laced bra and toned belly. Her skin was so soft that Ci-ci was almost scared to use too much force.

Milana couldn't help but blush at Ci-ci's words, a happiness blooming in her heart. 'I've made him wait long enough…'

Building her courage up, Milana took a deep breath to tell Ci-ci is was okay. "Lu – "

Suddenly, the ringing of a phone came from Milana's handbag, causing her to frown in disappointment. Looking at Ci-ci apologetically, she reached her hand over to grab her phone.

Ci-ci smiled lightly, not minding too much. His hands ran over Milana's exposed skin, moving her long brunette hair away to kiss her neck as she picked up her phone.

"Stop it." Milana giggled through her whisper, placing a finger on Ci-ci's lips. "h.e.l.lo?"

Milana's smile suddenly disappeared as she began listening to the voice on the other side of the phone.

"Dad. You know I'm supposed to spend today with Lucius."

"So what if he's coming tomorrow, this isn't going anywhere anyway. We need to find a way to just minimize the bad press. What does that have to do with what we can do today?"

A flash of anger appeared on Milana's features.

"Why haven't you learned your lesson! Lucius can't save you every time you do something stupid!"

Milana's words seemed to be caught in her throat as her voice grew hoa.r.s.e.

"You always do this… You can't just bring up mom whenever you want force me to do something!"

The only words Ci-ci heard before Milana hung up was a voice that said: "Please Milana?"

He could only sigh. He'd seen this exact scenario run its course every time. Milana was simply too soft hearted when it came to her father. And, unfortunately for her, the relations.h.i.+p between her and her father was something Ci-ci needed to stay intact – for now…

Milana hung up, placing her phone to her side before she lay her head to Ci-ci's chest, sighing in relief as his strong arms wrapped around her.

"Don't cry. I know my little Milly is stronger than this, right?" Ci-ci gently stroked Milana's hair, holding onto her tightly.

Milana nodded. "Mm."

Ci-ci pulled back, resting his hands on Milana's thighs as she dressed herself and put on her large gla.s.ses. He smiled to himself – Milana really was the picture of innocence. But, Ci-ci knew there was more to her than that.

Milana fell from the kitchen island, holding onto Ci-ci's hand as he walked her to her car.

On the west continent, there were three main car companies. But, maybe one of the most popular was a company known as Vintage: World's End. Most people just called it vintage for short. However, its main attraction was that it specialized in recreating cars from before the world practically reset itself.

In reality, Vintage actually dabbled in much more than just cars. They reconstructed anything from clothes to jewellery to even past movies.

The car Milana drove was Vintage made, of course, and it was a BMW X3 SUV. Ci-ci had insisted on her buying a larger car with better safety features. So, Milana had settled on this more stylish option.

The only difference between this car and one from the 21st century was the technology available to it. Aside from that, the design was identical.

Pausing at the car door, Milana released Ci-ci's hand to tip toe and leave him a soft kiss before waving goodbye.

Standing in the driveway, Ci-ci waited until Milana was in the distance before re-entering.

Looking down at himself, he could only sigh. "It's okay little fella. Maybe one day we won't be blue balled to oblivion…"

Closing the door behind him, Ci-ci flipped to a hidden app on his phone to undo the effects of the military tag before heading down to check on his father.

Seeing that the old man was still resting soundly, Ci-ci quietly made his way back upstairs. 'Well, at least he ate last night. That's good. Hm, I guess I'll go check out the situation at Grandbell.' Ci-ci chuckled to himself. 'I'll have to face the noise eventually.'

After taking a hot shower in a bathroom that was probably too large for how many used it, Ci-ci slipped on a dark pair of blue jeans and a white dress s.h.i.+rt. Completing his look with a long black office coat and a sharp watch that held the same apps his phone did.

Walking to the garage, Ci-ci took a look at a row of keys that seemingly had no cars to match them. But, as soon as he picked one, the large garage floor s.h.i.+fted as the sound of a conveyer belt flipped a car above ground.

'Well… h.e.l.lo. It's been a while.' Ci-ci grinned to himself as he walked to a Vintage made sleek black camaro ss.

Not many liked this car – a lot preferring the mustang instead. But, the Camaro had always been Ci-ci's guilty pleasure.

The car roared to life before Ci-ci peeled off, drifting down the street as he headed toward Grandbell University.

**

Hours later, Ci-ci was in quite an annoying situation at the grand Grandbell Gates.

"Ci-ci, I know you've helped me and my family a lot. But, you should understand that it's really not up to me whether I let you in or not. Your access card has been sc.r.a.pped and I can't bypa.s.s it for you if I want to keep my job. Please understand."

Ci-ci's brows furrowed. Whether his tenure was revoked or not, the Grandbell campus should be like any other. This was a public university, working on public funding. Although much of its funding also came from generous alumni, you should technically even be able to attend any cla.s.ses you wanted as long as you had the right room number – it was just that you wouldn't be able to take tests and earn a degree alongside those who actually made it into the university. The fact Ci-ci wasn't allowed in didn't make any sense.

"Interesting." Ci-ci pondered for a bit before his thoughts were interrupted by the obnoxious honking of a car behind him.

Looking in his rear-view mirror, Ci-ci was greeted with the sight of a greyish-green Vintage range rover.

In the driver's seat, was someone Ci-ci actually recognized. His name was Gael Alleman. In reality, he was a small character Ci-ci had never really put in his eyes. Not that he did that with anyone really…

But, what made his heart skip an inexplicable beat was the beautiful blond hair and blue-eyed young woman that sat beside him in the pa.s.senger seat. Ci-ci almost comically looked down at his chest, as though that would give him the answer he was looking for. Even he felt he was being completely irrational. Since when did seeing a woman in a man's car automatically mean something was going on?

That said… It seemed Ci-ci couldn't control his emotions as he looked at the picture of cold arrogance that sat quietly – Frae Mortlock.
