Last time I made you all choose which cookie do you like and out of 1185, a majority of 849 choose.... *insert suspense drumroll* The winner cookie is none other than Raz's cookie~!

And since majority of you wish for 5 additional chapters to be published, then I will make our wish come true! 

There will be 5 more chapters after this, stay tune for that.

On another note, Mama Z suggested that we atleast post 1 ch a day. And so we are atm discussing if we should do so or not. Well anyway, we'll announce the decision later, in the meantime...

They were... gone?

Not only the people of the Twilight City, but even Elder Wen and Geng Di were dumbfounded.

They had already prepared a bellyful of accusations and were ready to deal with Shen Yanxiao. Who would have thought that she would only say a sentence or two, and then immediately fly away like a fleeting cloud...

Looking at the two bright rays in the sky, everyone had not yet recovered from the previous shock.

What exactly was going on here?

After turning the City Lord Residence upside down, creating confusion and forcing the host to come out, the result was that they only listened to her say a sentence or two?

Elder Wen, Geng Di and Luo Fan suddenly felt that they had been treated as a joke by Shen Yanxiao.

If you won't come, then don't come. You actually dared to swagger over the city, frightening everyone, and in the end, left without doing anything? Did you know that you were teasing other people’s nerves?

Elder Wen’s face flushed red in anger. His abusive insults and satires were smashed back by Shen Yanxiao’s actions just like that. Long Xueyao squinted her eyes. She also couldn’t comprehend the purpose of Shen Yanxiao’s arrival.

The corner of Long Fei’s mouth carried an appreciative smile. He whispered, “Lord Shen is really smart. She has already seen that Twilight City does not welcome her. And the relations.h.i.+p between the The Rising Sun City and the Magical Fantasy City has always been discordant even before. She must have known that the Magical Fantasy City and the Twilight City will jointly target her in today’s banquet. Hence, she simply said she is ill and chose not to partic.i.p.ate in the banquet, leaving people who have  crafty ideas without a way to deal with her." The bad mood that Long Fei had been suppressing tonight finally got better. This approach of Shen Yanxiao really did not give the opponent a chance to fight back.

Looking at the faces of Elder Wen and Geng Di, he could tell how many grievances they had in their hearts right now.

The thing that made them cough up blood the most was that they had been slapped in front of everyone, and yet, they had not had the time to fight back at all. The other party had gone away and did not give them any chance to counterattack.

"But… if she didn't want to partic.i.p.ate, why did she come in person? And...the excuse she gave was a bit too obvious." Long Xueyao was a little embarra.s.sed. Shen Yanxiao said that she was not physically well to attend the banquet, but when she appeared, her complexion was ruddy and radiant; she did not look sick in the slightest bit.

As long as people realized this point, they would knew that she was just looking for an excuse.

Long Xueyao really couldn’t understand Shen Yanxiao's mind.

Long Fei chuckled and said, "You... although you’re two years older than Lord Shen, your brain can't actually compare to hers. She was just looking at Duan Hen or Elder Wen's face."

Appearing arrogantly with two Mythological Beasts, exhibiting enough power, and then leaving with such an obvious excuse. It was to tell everyone that she didn’t want to attend the banquet at the Twilight City. She made it clear that there were two Mythological Beasts at her side; even if Elder Wen wanted to retaliate against her, he also needed to consider things.
