Chapter 2003 – The Biggest Lie In History (2)

Only, the actions of those people caused the mood of a certain little fellow to become unwell.

Xiu looked around at the endless heart lake, and his golden eyes narrowed slightly.

“It seems that it's just two days.”

He whispered words with an unclear meaning.

When Shen Yanxiao woke up from her cultivation, it was already the afternoon of the next day. She hadn't eaten for a long time, yet she didn't feel hungry at all.

However, after touching her flat belly, she decided to get something to eat.

When she came out of the Main City Hall, Shen Yanxiao didn't see the Vermillion Bird or even a trace of the little phoenix. Her eyes were filled with doubts as she stood outside the City Hall.

The huge city seemed to become empty overnight. She didn't see even a shadow of a person on the city walls or in the streets.

It was currently afternoon. Supposedly, the workers should still be working with the construction of the city. Why was it that not a single figure could be seen anywhere?

Everything in front of her was strange. Shen Yanxiao tried to contact the Vermillion Bird but did not get any response. This was different from the situation in the Sun Graveyard; she could still feel that the spiritual connection between herself and the Vermillion Bird had not been interrupted. However, he didn't respond.

I just spent the night and even that little guy had actually rebelled now!

Shen Yanxiao strode across The Rising Sun City, searching through the entire city, and yet, she never found anyone's shadow.

"What is going on?" Shen Yanxiao's heart immediately produced an uneasy feeling. Just one night and all the people in the city disappeared, leaving only an empty city and an unclear truth.

Could it be that yesterday night, the three forces came to attack?

Shen Yanxiao was secretly alarmed. This was the most reasonable explanation she could think of.

However, there was no trace of fighting and there was no blood on the ground. She didn't even smell any blood.

"Where did they go?"

Shen Yanxiao frowned slightly.

"Xiu, can you perceive where they are?" Shen Yanxiao secretly clenched her fist. She could only seek Xiu's help.

'Underground.' Xiu replied.

"Underground? They went to the underground city of the demons?" Shen Yanxiao was slightly surprised. But she never questioned Xiu's words. She went directly to the entrance to the underground city.

However, when she entered the underground city, a blinding light suddenly appeared in her eyes.

Shen Yanxiao quickly raised her hand to block the glare of light, but her hand was caught by someone else's the next second.

"Don't open your eyes yet." Qi Xia's lazy voice sounded in Shen Yanxiao's ears. Shen Yanxiao had not yet responded when Qi Xia's other hand covered her eyes.

"Qi Xia, what are you doing?" Shen Yanxiao frowned.

"Follow me." Qi Xia chuckled. He pulled Shen Yanxiao's weak hands and walked forward.

Shen Yanxiao's eyes were covered by Qi Xia's hand and she couldn't see anything at all. She could only let herself be pulled by him.

She didn't know how long they walked. When Shen Yanxiao felt that they had almost gone through the entire dungeon, Qi Xia finally stopped.

"All right."

"What?" Shen Yanxiao was full of doubts.

The hand covering her eyes were slowly put down, Shen Yanxiao hesitated to open her eyes.

And when she saw everything in front of her, she was completely stunned.
