Aeternatix: Subject matter for the compet.i.tion is "Family Dinner" (Or less specifically "Supper" starring at least one GFNSYL character), submissions open when Sky gets her laptop back. Sky has her laptop back

SAs a foodie, Taotie's biggest pleasure was to eat. 

If he were not eating the whole day, he was on a journey to eat food. Except for food, he was not interested in anything. 

Not being able to eat, for Taotie, was simply a death penalty. 

In fact, if the elves gave Taotie some food every day, even if it was the cheapest food out there, this behemoth would be honestly squatting in the dungeon. If he were allowed to eat, he would behave very honestly, so that even if you locked him up until the end of time, as long as there was food, this fella would not have any intention of resisting at all. 

Shen Yanxiao looked at the grief-stricken Taotie and asked, "You didn't tell them you are very hungry?" 

According to Taotie's gluttonous temper, after not having eaten for more than a hundred years, she believed that he should already be at the end of the rope. He could even do things like "humiliating the country and forfeiting its sovereignty"[1]. Acting cute to the elves for the sake of food would be possible for him to do. 

Taotie was almost choking, yet he persistently continued to squeeze the crystallic nuclei into his small mouth. 

"I told them, but the beautiful elf forbade them to give me something to eat." 

"Why?" 

Taotie frowned. He looked like a very poor little pet being bullied as he looked at Shen Yanxiao with tears. 

"The beautiful elf wanted me to eat unpalatable wood. If I don't eat it, he won't give me anything else to eat, but that wood was really so bad that I couldn't eat it."

There was actually something in this world that he could not eat? Shen Yanxiao felt very amazed. 

"You could not eat it? I'll give you a piece of p.o.o.p, try and see if its delicious." Vermillion Bird's hands were crossed over his chest, looking at Taotie arrogantly. He now more and more thought that Taotie was stupid. This kind of opponent truly made him feel very humiliated by himself. 

Taotie sniffled and looked up at Vermillion Bird. He said in a very serious tone, "I don't eat p.o.o.p, that stinks. I am also a principled magical beast. I'm a gourmet, I only eat good things." 

"Idiot." Vermillion Bird snorted and decided not to pay attention to this foodie. Talking to Taotie was simply pulling down his IQ.

"Ah?" Taotie obviously did not know the difference between the two.

They were just like an apple; only, apples were a little bit worse in appearance.

Taotie replied, "The wood of the Tree of Life." 

"Pu..." Vermillion Bird at the side directly let out a puff of wind. 

Shen Yanxiao also revealed a trace of surprise. 

"The Elf King made you nibble the Tree of Life?" Was the brain of this Elf King flooded with water, or was it her who had gotten her head knocked onto the door by someone? 

The Tree of Life was the foundation of the elves. The Elf King actually wanted Taotie to eat the Tree of Life... 

Taotie simply didn't realize that this was a serious problem. 

"He wants me to eat the withered parts of the Tree of Life, but it's really awful and hard to eat..."
