Aeternatix: Was gonna draw this out for longer, but 'eh. Subject matter is "Family Dinner"

The Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe's official residence was located on the east side of the Jadeite City. Even though they had been demoted, the background of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe was still there. From a black-level city, they had been collectively banished to a white-level city; nevertheless, the strength of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe had not decreased in the slightest bit.

Shen Yanxiao followed the elves of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe all the way back. On their way, Yue s.h.i.+ and others had been expressing how grateful they were to Shen Yanxiao, and Shen Yanxiao actually very happily conversed with them.

Shen Jing was walking alone at the end of the team, staring at Vermillion Bird who was standing next to Shen Yanxiao, and his head was full of question marks. 

He could be a hundred percent sure that this Mythological Beast was Vermillion Bird! 

However, it was quite clear that Vermillion Bird did not want him to reveal his ident.i.ty, hence Shen Jing could only close his mouth tight. 

When they arrived at the residence of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe, Yue s.h.i.+ quickly knocked on the door, after which the door was soon opened. A seemingly one-year-old little elf, after seeing Yue s.h.i.+ and the other elves, revealed a pleasantly surprised smile on his face and opened the door neatly. He then shouted inside the house:

"Brother Yue s.h.i.+ and the others are back! They’re back!" 

For the first time, Shen Yanxiao stepped into the elf tribe that had some blood ties with her. She watched as a lot of elves emerged from within the house, with each of their faces filled with unspeakable joy as they completely surrounded them. 

"Brother Yue s.h.i.+, Uncle An Feng, you guys are finally back. The leader was so anxious to death all this time."

"Uncle An Feng, Brother An Ran is back! He has been selected to join the Silvermoon Guards!" 

A group of elves around Yue s.h.i.+ and others spoke up one after another. 

When Shen Yanxiao heard of the topic about An Ran, she paid a little attention to it. The elf that was called Uncle An Feng was the eldest one among the elves who were locked up. After An Feng heard the news about An Ran, his face immediately revealed a hint of surprise. 

"Really?" 

"Yes ah! They are all in the hall, all of you should quickly come." The elves enthusiastically pulled Yue s.h.i.+, An Feng and the others toward the hall. Shen Yanxiao and co also followed closely behind. 

There were a few elves of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe who also cast curious gazes at Little Phoenix and Mini Dragon that were clinging onto Vermillion Bird. Regardless of the race, cute and lovely things were always the favorite of the womenfolk and children. 

Inside the hall of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe, An Ran was sitting restlessly in his seat as his head kept looking outward. 

Sitting in the main seat was a beautiful and elegant female elf, whose eyes were as serene as calm water. Her face that displayed an air of n.o.bility, letting people look at her in reverence, looked awfully cold. She looked thirty or forty years old in appearance, and if one were to look at her closely, they could see a few tiny wrinkles at the corner of her eyes. 

She was the leader of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe— An Yan. 

An Yan's pair of elegant eyes swept over to the anxious An Ran. When Duan Yuan released the elves of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe, he had already sent news to the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe and right now, they werewaiting for their arrival. 

When Yue s.h.i.+ and the others appeared at the entrance of the hall, An Ran immediately greeted them, unable to endure his excitement any longer. 

"Father!" An Ran quickly found An Feng among many figures. 

"I have returned." An Feng looked at An Ran who had been away from the family for over half a year, and he felt mixed emotions in his heart. 

"Yeah." An Ran nodded his head. When he had returned, the few elves of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe were already arrested. His father was responsible for the finances of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe, so he was imprisoned as well. He tried to go to the City Lord Residence several times but he had always been stopped by their tribe leader, An Yan. 

In these few days, An Ran was practically like an ant on a hot pan, and had not been able to sleep at night. 

"I am very glad to hear heard that you pa.s.sed the selection exam of the Silvermoon Guards." An Feng was very pleased as he looked at his own son.
