Their mockery and ridicule must have fallen into that elf’s ears.

Shen Yanxiao had just been mainly observing the elf that remained indifferent even when he was being ridiculed. She had never expected that the topic would change so fast and she would become the target of these elves’ gossip in an instant. 

Shen Yanxiao slightly knitted her eyebrows, looking at those slightly nit-picking gazes.

"The black badge on her chest... seems to be a temporary badge." An elf discovered an unusual thing from Shen Yanxiao.

The black badge worn on Shen Yanxiao's chest was somewhat different from the badges of other elves. The edges of her badge was decorated with silver dots, which was proof that it was a temporary badge.

The temporary badge was a temporary pa.s.s that enabled some low-level elves to enter the higher-level cities. It was generally only used in some special cases.

Temporary badges had a longevity. According to the length of time they entered the higher-level city, the power in the temporary badge would gradually disappear. After some time, it would become just a useless ornament.

The elves around looked at Shen Yanxiao with colder eyes.

The elves of the Moons.h.i.+ne Tribe might still have some black elves to rely on, but the temporary badge on Shen Yanxiao's chest could be said to be the catalyst that completely made her the object of the elves’ exclusion.

These proud elves simply could not stand to be with such an elf who was rejected by her own tribe and probably had no genuine talents.
