Nonetheless, Allon had insisted on stopping by some places they pa.s.sed by, giving Tsuru a good taste of everything she had been missing out on. Every little place he saw that catches her eyes he would make a Keme stop at. The first few times he was annoyed but eventually complied, after many stops he was just about done with it.
"No, we're waisting time, we'll miss Keir and have to track his steps down again." Keme barked at him when he suggested stopping.
Allon replied hastily, "Oh please, what would a five minute stop really do?"
Tsuru watching them bicker intervenes, "It's alright we can stop another time, besides Keme is right, we should focus."
Hearing her Allon stopped pestering Keme, still noticing each time Tsuru's eyes sparkled at any spots. Lost in her own world looking at everything around them. As the hours trickled by in the endless car ride Tsuru just couldn't stand Keme ignoring her anymore.
"Is there something wrong?" The question caught him by surprise struggling to answer.
Keme responded after a bit, "I'm afraid I'd bore you with an explanation..."
Allon watched the moment unfold spotting the tension between the two. Deciding whether he should ask what's really up or just stay quiet. Keeping his mouth shut in the end knowing things with Keme and he didn't exactly go well. The only reason he was here now was Tsuru, he annoyed her too much and he's been out and stranded.
The road was loud, the cars outside honking and the bustling of people getting through the cars closed up s.p.a.ce. However not one of them inside said a word, not even the radio on two distract them just the unbearable silence.
Looking straight into Keme's eyes from the mirror Tsuru cut through the silence, "Stop the car please, I want to stretch my legs."
It had been the first thing Tsuru asked for herself, not having Allon speak up for her. But Keme didn't give out to her request instantly, he took his sweet time on stopping the car by the side of the road. Stopping in the middle of the desert where she wanted to stretch her legs. But as a gentleman, he got out and opened her door, and before she got the chance to tell him she wanted to talk he was back in the car.
Allon strolling out and smiling, "I'll walk with you, and maybe we can talk about something." He was trying to casually hint the subject on why Keme wasn't really happy at her.
"What would we talk about?" She asked naively.
"Oh, I don't know." He started walking around the empty area with her watching the cars pa.s.s by, "Anything you'd like to get off your chest?"
She stared at her s.h.i.+rt trying to find what was wrong, "What's on my chest."
"It's an expression, ugh... okay, alrighty. Tsuru what's up with you and Keme?"
"I am so confused right now." She groaned and started to look up, "Oh another expression... right. What do you mean exactly?"
"Why is Keme so annoyed at you? What did you say to him on the plane?" He grabbed her hand strolling not too far from the car.
She giggled awkwardly, "I'd rather not talk about it."
"Alright fine, let's change the subject. Um, how are you liking Egypt?" He shrugged.
"Seems alright from the last time I saw it, little see crowded I guess... and cars."
Hearing the honking of the car startled her for a moment looking around for where the sound emitted to land on Keme.
Allon tugged at her arm, "We should get back."
"We barely got out, I have taken quite literally ten steps or less."

He shushed her, "Deep breaths now, don't get frustrated."
She stomped angrily on the ground, "Tell Keme to come out here. I need to speak to him."
Allon swallowed his saliva, "You want me to go get him." He enunciated on him staring at her hoping she was bluffing.
"Oh just go get him, it's not like he'll kick you out from the trip."
Sure Keme didn't like him and didn't speak to him often unless it had something to do with Tsuru but he wouldn't just kick him out. Would he?
Allon sucked in a deep breath feeling his hands sweat while he walked back to the car. Not thirty seconds after he got in Keme got out with an angry expression.
"Sent your dog for me?"
"He's not a dog, simply an a.s.sistant."
"Big words, cut to the point Tsuru." He growled out the words.
She found herself unable to make eye contact with him, "Why are you being this way?"
His words came out bitter, "I'm not doing anything. I have no idea what you're talking about a woman."
"Was it what I said in the plane? Listen I'm sorry if that's it. I don't... you know what I mean... right?" She couldn't meet his gaze still, looking anywhere but his eyes, s.h.i.+fting from left to right and towards the car.
He chuckled lightening the mood, "I do know what you mean that's the problem." He got back in the car before their conversation got a chance to continue.
She reluctantly got back in the car, back to the dreadful and silent ride they all had ahead. She didn't quite get what he meant. Had he gotten so annoyed at her that he refused to even try and fix up the disagreement? Was it so hard for him to just accept her perspective? Or was it the way she said it that caused all this?
