Chapter 181 – The Huge Wolf 

Frank understood that he had to let Liszt and s.h.i.+rely have a chance to get along.

If Liszt were a little more relaxed, he might be able to leave s.h.i.+rley in Flower Town that night.

Liszt was, after all, a decent gentleman.

Liszt remembered talking with s.h.i.+rley when they were younger. Well, mostly s.h.i.+rley was talking and he was just listening.  Because the memory of the predecessor was blurred, there were many details that he could not remember.

After a while.

s.h.i.+rley said, “Brother Liszt, can I return to Flower Town?”

“You're very much welcome to.”

“If Brother Liszt comes to Coral City, you can come to me any time. I'm just helping my mom do some needlework at home so I have plenty of free time.”

“Okay.”

“I'll have to go back now. My parents are waiting for me in the carriage.”

Liszt said, “Be careful on the road.”

s.h.i.+rley turned and walked towards the carriage, and when she was about to step in the carriage, she turned her head again to see if Liszt was looking at her.

However, what she saw was Liszt heading toward Tremblingwood's kennel. With Liszt, the magical beast would behave like a puppy, spinning around him like it wasn't a mid-level magical beast.

She suddenly felt lost.

With the help of the driver, she got on the carriage.

“s.h.i.+rley, how was your chat with Liszt? ” Frank's wife started asking just before the carriage hit the road.

"I don't know, Mother. Brother Liszt was very polite, but it's like we had just met for the first time. There was no sense of familiarity at all."

"You haven't seen each other for years, that's all. You're all grown up now."

"Maybe. Brother Liszt is still as pretty as he was when he was a child, and he still has that laugh that makes me feel warm.” 

“Then take advantage of it,” said Frank's wife with a smile. “With a thorn sprite and a magical beast,  Liszt is the best bachelor on Coral Island.”

“Well, I will.” s.h.i.+rley nodded generously.

Here, men chasing women and women chasing men are the same. There is no norm that a man must take the initiative and a woman must be pa.s.sive about it.

Looking at the smiles of his wife and daughter, Frank also had a smile on his face, but there was a hint of regret in his eyes. He has been serving the Tulip Castle for many years, and he knows that the people of the Tulip family are not ordinary n.o.bles who are at ease. Lvera was more proud than male n.o.bles in her family while Levis was bent on courting the daughter of the Marquis of Roderick.

The mother and son pair, Marie and Lytton has never relented squeezing Levis' resources.

Liszt was previously considered to be the weakest among the children, and the count was disappointed because of it. But now Liszt was gradually showing a strong temperament.

His ambition was evident with his display of the thorn sprite, mid-level magical beast and recruiting new followers.

Is this n.o.bleman gonna look after her daughter? Frank was a little worried. He learned from Mr. Reeves that in Red Crab Island, Mr. Liszt had refused even a Viscount's daughter, not to mention that s.h.i.+rley was just a daughter of a lord knight.

Fortunately, he saw that s.h.i.+rley was doing good and that put him in a good mood.

“Maybe s.h.i.+rley can get a hold of Liszt. These young people have never seen the world and have been nesting on Coral Island for so long. s.h.i.+rley, on the other hand, graduated from Ox Horn College, and she is smart … even if she can't succeed with Liszt, on Coral Island, there are so many n.o.bles who are after s.h.i.+rley. “

He thought about it more.

Frank suddenly ordered, "We will stay one night in North Valley City. I have some colleagues to catch up with."

The guests have all left.

Flower Town was restored to peace, and the castle servants have began to clean the trampled lawn.

Liszt loosened Tremblingwood's leash and as soon as he completely let it go, the beast ran around and chased the horses. The horses ran away in horror while the dragon horses weren't bothered at all.

He even wondered if Tremblingwoods would mount the two horses.

Tremblingwoods was also afraid to bother the dragon horses since Liszt has forbidden it from bullying them.

While riding a dragon horse, Liszt said, "Tremblingwoods, come on!"

A man, a horse, a dog and several other men were then headed to the Flower Farm.

The common tulips have barely grown in Flower Farm as the fields were being prepared for planting black tulips. They were trying to grow the tulips under the influence of the black tulip sprite worm.

In the wilderness, there was a lonely building that catches the eye.

Tremblingwoods was excited to pounce on the building, for it could hear dogs barking inside. It was a recently built dog farm, which has twenty female wolf dogs.  They were all good wolf dog breeds with a good helper to take care of them.

However when they arrived to Flower Town, they were immediately put in a dire situation.

 "Sir Lord, old Defoe sends you peace.” The serf in charge of the dog farm, after saluting, opened the door to the dog farm and let Liszt and Tremblingwoods in.

The dog farm was big.

There were rows of kennels and iron cages, and in each iron cage was a big wolf dog.

As soon as they smelled Tremblingwoods, the originally cheerful dogs hid to the corner of their cages. 

Tremblingwoods, on the other hand, was happily pouncing around.

Old Defoe, fearing Tremblingwoods, carefully opened the door of the first cage. The beast rushed in,ending the sorrowful cries of the wolf dog. Comparing the size of the mother wolf dog to Tremblingwoods was like the size disparity of a teddy bear and a Tibetan Mastiff [1].

But nature's Creator, has endowed living creatures with the wealth of creativity, diversity and adaptability.

The female dog has strong adaptability skills and it wasn't long before Tremblingwoods was done mounting. 

Tremblingwoods  kept his posture for a quarter of an hour, and finally he stepped out happily.

The female wolf dog was left sort of paralyzed in the cage, it's face showing disdain. [2]

“Old Defoe, remember to feed it more and pay attention to whether it's pregnant. Once you completely confirm it's pregnant, go to the castle and inform me immediately, okay? “

"Old Defoe understands perfectly Sir. Old Defoe has worked with dogs for so many years and can easily tell by sight which dog is carrying a pup."

"Good."

They soon left the dog farm.

Liszt has sent Tremblingwoods to the dog farm where it mounted the female dog. The mother's belly hasn't bulged, but the pregnancy has already been confirmed by many experts, including Old Defoe.

Liszt also released Tremblingwoods with Stupidwoman and they mingled for a while.

Perhaps there was a reason why Tremblingwoods did not care about the dogs in the dog farm, but with Stupidwoman, he had a certain enthusiasm.

Liszt squatted next to Stupidwoman and reached out to touch her black fur.

She didn't have any reaction. It had succ.u.mbed to fate. It has forgotten magic and enjoyed this kind of life without wind and rain, without hunting. Just eating and sleeping every day.
