Under the blue sky and white clouds, a question directed to Yang Guang came out from Yu Chen's mouth.

Looking at the wheels of his bicycle moving on the ground stopped with his steps, Yang Guang looked up into the sky in a daze.

After talking with b.l.o.o.d.y love, the mercenary group decided that they would stay to protect at night Song City until the battle with Ryageroo is done.

But for them to take part in the fight directly is not going to happen, so Yang Guang needed another plan to deal with the Golden Wing Legion.

"Worse comes to worst, I will deal with all of them alone."

Yu Chen's face turned bitter, he does not feel sad about facing the Golden Wings Legion instead he felt useless that Yang Guang might leave him out from the fight.

Those words stunned Yang Guang, he then laughed. Not at Yu Chen but at himself for forgetting that he is not alone anymore.

Once more Yang Guang was stunned by words, but this time those words did not come out from Yu Chen's mouth.

The voice sounded familiar to Yang Guang's ears, it was sweet and feminine but also invoked a few troublesome memories and warm moments.

His turned his head towards the voice, he saw a head of flowing long black hair along with a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes and pink lips in the shape of a smile.

"Why are you looking for me, Ye Xing?" Yang Guang asked as he looked at Ye Xing who just ran over to him.

"Don't forget that we need to stay back to work on the tents for the school sports day." She reminded him because she was afraid Yang Guang would forget about it and went home to sleep.

"Wow, what nice weather we have today…" Yang Guang said after he had turned around and laugh.

'He definitely forgot…'

"Just remember to be there!" Ye Xing shouted at Yang Guang as he and Yu Chen walked away.

A few steps later, Yang Guang whispered to Yu Chen to take care of the city tonight because he might not make it to the hunt.

"Come on, carry the beams. It is already 10 P.M, the quicker we finish this the quicker we can go home!" Yang Guang shouted with enthusiasm as he carried heavy steel beams on his back.

Behind him are Liu Zheng Yi and others who are working together to lift up the steel beams. All of them thought of the same thing when they saw Yang Guang's feat.

'Not everyone is born equal.'

Next up is hammering those beams into the ground, the clangor of steel smas.h.i.+ng against each other resounded throughout the empty school grounds.

All but one spot is filled with the noise of metal, only Yang Guang area is quiet as he stabbed the beams into the ground with his raw strength.

'Not everyone is born a monster.'

Liu Zheng Yi who was carrying a steel beam said to himself as he saw Yang Guang's superhuman actions.

His eyes then wandered around without a purpose until he saw a steel beam that was hammered into the ground shaking unsteadily.

"Careful!"

Liu Zheng Yi threw down the steel beam he is carrying and rushed towards the shaking steel beam that was now falling.

The reason he acted this way was that Ling Xing Hua was standing under the falling steel beam.

"Xing Hua, watch out!" Ye Xing who also noticed her friend who is in danger warned with all her might as she dashed.

By the time Liu Zheng Yi reached Ling Xing Hua's side, it was already too late to push her away, so he hugged her tight in hopes of protecting her with his body.

BAM

A loud resounding bang blasted into the ears of Liu Zheng Yi and Ling Xing Hua who both shut their eyes in fear.

It was the sound of steel smas.h.i.+ng towards flesh, but it was not their body that was. .h.i.t. They slowly opened their eyes and saw a figure standing in front of the fallen steel beam.

With one hand, Yang Guang alone supported the beam and prevented it from hurting anyone.

"d.a.m.n it, that was close." Yang Guang said as he stabbed the steel beam back into the earth.

"Are the both of you alright?" Ye Xing who finally reach her friends asked worriedly.

Liu Zheng Yi who barely recovered from shock looked at Ye Xing and said: "Yes, I'm fin… Yang Guang look behind!"

When Yang Guang turned his head, it was already too late. Another steel beam had fallen on top of him and struck his skull.

Shouts and screams echoed, but most of them froze on the spot after seeing Yang Guang's fate except for one person.

Ye Xing.

Only she ran towards where Yang Guang was lying; only she mumbled…

"Please be okay…"

She stopped in front of the heavy steel beam and tried to lift it up with all her might, slowly the beam raise up but to her surprise, it was not her who raised it.

"That really hurt, but at least it won't leave a mark." Yang Guang said as he threw the beam away, a bent mark could be seen where the steel beam and Yang Guang's skull met.

While rubbing his head, Yang Guang felt something warm and wet hugging his body. He looked down and saw Ye Xing with tears in her eyes holding him tight.

Ye Xing then looked at Yang Guang face and smile as she could not find a trace of blood dripping down, she then held out her three of her fingers and asked how many fingers does she have.

"Three, why is something wrong with your eyes?"

Before a word could escape Ye Xing's mouth, Liu Zheng Yi clapped his hands and told everyone…

"I think we should stop for today, everyone pack up and leave!"

On his order everyone started cleaning up and prepared to leave, Yang Guang then turned his head towards Ye Xing who was still grabbing onto him and ask with a smile…

"Let's go, I will take you home after everything is done."

Without her knowing, Ye Xing heart throbbed as her eyes looked away from Yang Guang's gaze but she still gave him an answer…

"Okay…"
