Waking up to the beautiful sun hitting my face, getting used to waking up without the annoying sound of the alarm.

Since I moved in and I got the job I've not really started to work. Chase didn't wanted me to work but I insisted and happily I'll be resuming work today. Maybe not so happy because I'll be doing a lot of work arranging the venue and making sure everything was in place. But nevertheless I have to be thankful for everything Chase has done for me and my brother.

I walked into the bathroom in a dancing mode, humming to something I don't even know. Smile all over my face, I washed my hair, came out and began to dry it. Once I was done I decided to pick a nice outfit; nice but comfortable.

I was not just happy I'm going to work but also happy that I get to go out and do something and not be bored all the time for a change. I decided to wear a grey short gown slightly above my knees, with a black tiny waist belt,i made my hair on a bun and applied light make up, picking my shoes and walking down. I began to perceive the sweet aroma of the food cooking up downstairs, I'm sure its delicious.

"Morning madam" Anna the head chief of maid greeted and I smiled at her "Morning Anna". I walked past her to the parlour where Jason was sitting, I walked silently behind him and tickled him, making him jump and shout " ah" I laugh to that and I sat down "you scared me" he said, exhaling and sitting too. I was just about asking of Chase when I saw him coming down.

"Hey" I said standing up and walking towards him. "Morning" he said, placing a kiss on my cheeks and I was taken aback by that gesture. "Oh" was all I could mutter.

We had breakfast and he decided to drop me at work. Once we dropped, I stood there don't know if it was shock out of happiness or fear, when Chase noticed, he walked up to me.

"Hey what's wrong?" Chase said bringing me back to earth.

"I'm scared" I said and he walked to my front. Grabbing my shoulder gently.

"Look at me Amy" he said and I looked him in the eyes. "You've worked before" he said

"Yea but not in a huge company like this, what if I mess things up and get fired" I replied.

"Well maybe not a big place like this but you're not a novice anymore and besides your husband is your boss, I don't think firing is an option. So come on, just be you and do your best" he said, making me put on a huge smile. And I didn't know when I jumped and hugged him. Surprisingly he hugged back and that made me smile.

He showed me the way to where I'd clear my name and sign and we bade goodbyes.

I walked into the office I was to sign, I got the keys to my office, my paper work and my name tag. Thanking the man, I left and walked out. Using my eyes to look for the elevator when a voice startled me and I jumped. "Oh I'm sorry" I turned and saw a guy standing behind me. About 6feet talk, with broad shoulders, beautiful grey eyes, and sweet smile.

Okay what's wrong with you Amy? He's just too good looking okay?

"Hi" he said making me blink like a doll. "Hi" I replied. "Going up?" He asked raising his brows. And I nodded "top floor" I replied and he smiled. "Good I'm headed that way too" he said and we both walked to the elevator.

He pressed the b.u.t.ton and the elevator's door opened and we stepped in.

"So I guess you're new" he said breaking the silence engulfing us. I nodded again "yes". " I'm Michael but you can call me Mike for short" he said and I smiled "Amaya" I replied.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady" he replied and I just smiled at that.

The sound of the elevator broke another silence and we got out. "I'm heading to the secretary's office" I said hoping he'd show me the way. "That way" he said pointing to his right. "I'm heading this way, so I guess I'll see you around" he said and I smiled. "Thanks and yea" and we left each other. I walked to the direction and I met a Lady, I think in her 50's. With the name tag that reads "Judy". I walked to her and I smiled at her " Good morning, I'm just resuming work today and I'm asked to meet you" I said and she smiled back at me. "You must be Amaya, Chase's PA"she replied. With the way she called his name, I have a feeling they're close. " that's your office, and his office" she said and I thanked her and walked to my office.

It was beautifully decorated, I think it got extra attention because I was the boss's wife.

My office was wide, the floors were so smooth and well tiled with a brown colour, with one coffee brown couch by the side, the window has the perfect view of the streets and it was very beautiful. I couldn't help but smile at it.

I got to work immediately because I have a lot to do.

I picked the phone

"My office now" the caller said and hanged the call. I knew that was Chase so I stood up immediately and walked to his office. I nocked and he excused me in.

"You called" I said and he raised his head from his paper work to look at me.

"Let's go get lunch" he said smiling sheepishly. "But I sti-"

"Sshh I'm your boss remember?" He said and I exhaled. "Fine let's go".

We returned to the office not so long ago, and right now I'm at the venue of the event, ordering and placing things where they're supposed to be. Thankfully all the orders were made previously, so with some help I just have to tell them where they should be placed.

About three hours later, I was done and thanking G.o.d I can finally rest. Plus I'm starving.

I was just about leaving when Philip came in to the venue. " Good evening madam, I'm asked to pick you up" he said and I smiled.

"Oh thank G.o.d and please stop calling me Madam. Just Amaya will do" and he smiled and nodded and with that we left for home.

When I got home I met a pizza box and two soda. Smiling I hurriedly removed my shoes and ran towards it.

"Guess you're really hungry then" Chase said walking up to me, smiling and I just nodded. "Well its about time, I've been starving but I wanted to wait for you" he said. And shortly we began eating.

Guess the day didn't turn out bad after all. I hope all my hard works are successful tomorrow.
