Zhou Lei suddenly proved the doctor wrong.

"Zhenya, get me some water, please." He talked as he sat up, the towel falling off of his forehead.

The doctor was astonished! This high of a fever and he can still sit up? This can't even be called a fever anymore!

Zhou Zhenya heard her brother and stood up, surprised. She was the first one who saw the temperature of her brother on the thermometer. She honestly thought that her brother would fall into a coma soon.

"Uh, yes!"

She rushed out of the room with the objective of getting water for her older brother.

Zhou Jiahao and Zhou Xiang watched the entire exchange of words between their son and the mysterious girl. When Zhou Lei called her Zhenya, she immediately responded.

'Does that mean... that she's really our daughter? But that doesn't make any sense!'

They were now suspicious of Zhou Lei. If she really was their daughter, how did their son recognize her at first glance? Maybe this was just a code between the two...

Zhou Jiahao leaned closer to his son's ear and whispered something to him. The doctor stood still, not comprehending what just happened.

"Lei, is that your sister?"

Zhou Lei was calling for System in his mind, but it was not responding at all. I guess it really did shut down! As he heard his father's question, he absently answered him.

"Ah, yes."

Hearing the confirmation from his son, Zhou Jiahao felt like a lightning bolt struck him. This girl, who is apparently his daughter, was desperately telling him the exact same thing!

What did he do? He pushed her away! Regret filled Zhou Jiahao's eyes. He even made his precious daughter cry.

Zhou Xiang's hearing was sharp enough to hear the two guys' conversation. Or it may just be that her husband and her son's voices were too loud, that even the doctor could hear them.

Anyway, she thought of reasons why her daughter's face became so beautiful.

'Is it... a sickness?' Both Zhou Jiahao and Zhou Xiang came to the same conclusion.

Zhou Zhenya arrived back at the room with a big gla.s.s of water, quickly giving it to her older brother. Despite the sheer size of the gla.s.s, he drank it all in one gulp.

'Uhh... okay...' Zhou Zhenya felt that it was natural for her brother to consume that much water all in one go since his temperature was off the charts. She sat down on the bed again, only this time feeling the gazes of her two parents.

Zhou Xiang and Zhou Jiahao both turned their heads to the doctor, who was completely dumbfounded about how to cure his patient's abnormal fever.

As he was thinking about whether he should just bail or not, he felt the same feeling that Zhou Zhenya got, and that was the gazes of the two parents.

"Uhh, doctor?" Zhou Jiahao first spoke in an accommodating manner.

"Yes?" The doctor responded nicely as well.

"Can you cure our daughter's sickness as well?" Zhou Xiang responded before her husband could speak up.

"Hmm? What is your daughter's sickness? She seems healthy." The doctor looked at Zhou Zhenya, observing every nook and cranny visible from the spot he was standing on.

"Well, it's like this... she's too beautiful!" Both of the parents answered this time.

"What...? Is there a problem with that?" The doctor was confused. Sure, he got that the girl was too beautiful, but why did her parents want to 'fix' it?

"Yes, doctor. You see, she wasn't this beautiful yesterday. But now, she's very beautiful." Zhou Xiang patiently explained to the doctor.

'What? Yesterday, not so beautiful, but today, very beautiful? Their words don't make any sense! It just sounds like... they want to brag!' The doctor got angry inside.

"Uhh... yes. Your daughter is very beautiful." Still, he had to maintain his professionalism.

"But, her face was, admittedly, not this beautiful before! We think it may be a sickness, doctor." The parents rapidly nodded their heads in agreement with each other.

A vein was about to pop in the doctor's head.

'I get it, your daughter is beautiful, so stop flaunting it!' The doctor was close to blowing up. He clenched his fists and exhaled calmly.

"Okay, okay. There must be a limit to your bragging." The doctor mistakenly spoke his thoughts out loud.

The parents looked at each other, with their eyebrows raised. They seem to be very confused on what the doctor was trying to say.

"But doctor, we're not bragging. She's really too beautiful!"
