Nina's anger aura hadn't left since the first battle . He picked up Natalia, raising her in the air . "Are you sure you're not the daughter of some G.o.d?"

Natalia blushed, then fluttered her eyelashes, but Clyde ignored her attempt to get a frown from him .

Now it worked . He gave her a brief blank stare then chuckled .

"Don't get used to it," Clyde said . "Are you tired? Do you need rest? The other runt and I can—"

"No!" Natalia quickly said, then hugged Clyde . "I want more praise . "

"Sheesh, it's no big deal," Clyde said, "I don't hand out praises lightly . "

"You give them to the other girls," Natalia said .

After he desp.a.w.ned into purple flames, Clyde motioned for Natalia to destroy the circle . The loli chanted something while spreading her arms . Moments later, the magical circle shattered into sparkles .

"And that's why exploiting a monster's weakness makes me happy," Clyde said, patting the heads of the two girls . "Good job, but we all know that was just too easy . Take it as a sign that stronger guards will be on patrol tomorrow . So ice cream anyone?"

The kids smiled, raising their hands .

"Me!" they both chanted .
