Kreto was looking up at the lighthouse built by the Altar. It was a long building built in the middle of Annihilation. The majestic height that seemed to reach the sky was probably more suited to the word tower, but the Altar insisted it was a lighthouse.

What is the purpose of this tower?

This lighthouse was the only above-ground structure in Annihilation and, therefore, the major focus of the Altar. All the Altars manpower, increasing day by day, was being put into this place.

It connects with the island. This can corrupt nobles and knights who are blind to power.
