The ferventness of the energy of the heaven and the earth was brought into full play once Lin Xiao restarted to practice The Doctrines of Limbo. In a short while, the one-foot-long dragon reappeared behind his back.
However, it vanished back into Lin Xiao's Ocean of Conception again beyond prediction. However hard he tried to get it back, it remained nowhere to be found. What was worse, the tormenting dizziness overwhelmed him again after times of running The Doctrines of Limbo.
Without a second thought, Lin Xiao changed it back into The Refining Divine Pithy Formula, which, again, ushered in that pair of eyes.
This time, Lin Xiao broke his eyes open after closing them for ages. The pair of eyes disappeared forthwith, but he became high in high spirits.
He finally made out the inner-connection between the two lumps of shadows.
The mutual complementary bond between The Doctrines of Limbo and The Refining Divine Pithy Formula signaled that the cultivation method would not be complete without aligning them together.
"I'll bring the painted dragon to life by putting in its eyes (a Chinese saying which vividly depicts a finishing touch). That pair of eyes is of utmost importance the very quintessence of the Divine Dragon. I should speed up my cultivation and integrate the eyes into its body," Lin Xiao thought to himself decisively. Then he reclosed his eyes and gave it a go.
Then as complicated as it was, The Doctrines of Limbo and The Refining Divine Pithy Formula kept alternating in Lin Xiao's cultivation to no end. Lin Xiao became oblivious of himself in the process.
The appearances of the tiny dragon and the pair of eyes also alternated behind his back.
When a gleam of sunrise glow illuminated Lin Xiao's room through his window panes, he opened his eyes again. Sighing heavily, he had no option but to let his attempts go by the wayside.
As fantastic as his idea was, it ain't easy after a slew of attempts turned out in vain. Without mentioning the combination, Lin Xiao could even barely manage to make both shows up simultaneously.
"Seems I still have a long way to go," Lin Xiao said to himself, shaking his head. He decided to get some air and clear his heavy head instead.
When he was about to head out, Qin Shou and Hu Su were hunting for him everywhere in the sect.
Ever since being scared by Hu Su's resistance the other day, Qin Shou had been counting his fingers, waiting for the three days to pass. When the deadline eventually came, He went to see Hu Su hastily and brought him along to settle old scores with Lin Xiao. However, he failed to find Lin Xiao again.
After a whole day's search, Hu Su became impatient. Qin Shou had no choice but to wait on him and satisfy whatever request Hu Su raised.
Nevertheless, Qin Shou had to bear with Hu, as he needed Hu to sort Lin Xiao out for him.
Qin Shou was anything but an upright guy. Emboldened by alcohol, he badmouthed Lin Xiao to Hu Su to an outrageous amount.
Hu Su forthwith expressed his firm determination that he would teach Lin Xiao a good lesson for Qin Shou. At last, the two guys, sharing the same rotten tastes, almost swore to become brothers as a result of Lin Xiao's intentional goodwill.
Nevertheless, Qin Shou tossed and turned through the night on thinking that he failed to punished Lin Xiao, though he had Hu Su in his pocket now. Hence he dragged Hu Su out at dawn and restarted his search for Lin Xiao.
"Brother Hu, I have an omen that today is the day that we finally get the hold of Lin Xiao. Set your decorum aside, just go and break his legs," Qin Shou said to Hu Su, absent-minded while looking around.
"Brother Qin, don't worry. I assure you I'll spare no efforts to fulfill any tasks assigned to me by Brother Yi," Hu Su responded in an assertive tone.
Hu Su's reply was not reciprocated by Qin Shou with any reply. He turned around and failed to find Qin Shou. After a thorough search, he finally found Qin Shou hide behind a huge rock and wink at him.
Frustrated a bit, then Hu Su soon made out what Qin Shou meant. Looking ahead, Hu Su saw a person walking along. That was a well-dressed young lad, appearing terribly detached from anything around him. His twisted eyebrows worked against Hu Su, which aroused a sense of detestation in the latter at the first sight.
Without further persuasion from Qin Shou, Hu Su already figured out that this young guy was exactly the one they had been looking for.
