Chapter 69 - Feeling Of Despair
"Jia Li, the old man has promised you that you can go back to your family today. Don't think too much about them, you will see them this evening." Fu Hee said to her in a kind tone.
"I know Aunty, but I don't know why I'm worried. My heart is beating fast, and I can't control it. I have never felt this way before." Jia Li said in a worried tone.
"Is it that serious, should we go to the doctor and have you do a check-up?." Fu Hee asked worriedly.
"No, Aunty, I think I will be fine. I just want to get back home. I want to see my parents." Jia Li said as she suddenly became emotional.
Fu Hee didn't know what to do. So she could only order the driver to drive quickly as shake tried to console her.
Within three minutes, they arrived at the house.
Jia Li was finding it really difficult to breathe, and she was gasping for air. Fu Hee was in a dilemma as she helped her out of the car.
"Go and call for help!." Fu Hee screamed at the driver.
She was really worried about Jia Li. She was acting like someone that was about to take her last breath.
How will she explain things to the old man?
"Mum... Mum..." Jia Li called out with her hand on her chest as she continued gasping for breath.
Fu Hee couldn't hold onto her anymore and so they both slipped to the ground.
Just then, a car drove in their direction as Fu Hee was shouting for help.
It was Fu Hua's car.
Fi Hua saw the situation and hurried out of his car.
Seeing her son, a glimmer of hope appeared in Fu Hee's eyes as she beckoned on him to hurry over.
"Mum, what happened?." Fu Hua asked with furrowed brows as he quickly approached them.
"I don't know, but she is finding it difficult to breathe. Quick, take her inside while I call the doctor." Fu Hee said to him in panic.
Without wasting time, Fu Hua lifted Jia Li in his arms and carried her inside the house with hurried footsteps.
He could hear Jia Li calling out to her mother while trying to catch her breath.
"It's okay, don't talk anymore and try to breathe." Fu Hua said to her in a calm tone as he walked into the living area with her in his arms.
Fu Hee followed after them while communicating with the doctor on the phone.
Butler Lu came down the steps immediately he heard what happened. The chauffeur came to inform him about it.
"Young Master, what happened to her?." Butler Lu asked worriedly as he walked towards them.
"She is finding it difficult to breathe. Go and tell my grandfather to release the military helicopter so the doctor can come quickly." Fu Hua replied as he carried Jia Li into her bedroom.
When the Old Man heard the news, he immediately sent out an order for the military helicopter to go and bring the doctor over.
Fu Hua placed Jia Li on the bed in an upright position while Fu Hee tried to console her from the side.
"I want to talk to my mother." Jia Li said breathlessly.
"How do you still think of talking to your mother in this condition, you should try to get better soon." Fu Hee said to her as she was starting to get annoyed with the situation.
"My mum is in trouble, I can feel it." Jia Li said as Fu Hua sat by her side and rubbed her back.
"How do you know?." Fu Hee asked with a frown.
Jia Li did not say anything and only placed her palm on her chest.
Fu Hua and Fu Hee understood beat she meant.
Thinking that it could be true, Fu Hee didn't know what to do.
"I will help you contact your mother, where is your phone?." Fu Hee asked.
"In the car." Jia Li replied.
"Don't talk anymore!." Fu Hua said in a cold tone.
Fu Hee quickly left the room.
A minute later, Grandfather Fu walked into Jia Li's bedroom.
"Jia Li, what is wrong?. Are you still worried about going home? I already promised to send you back today." Grandfather Fu said in a worried tone as he came to her side.
"Grandfather, my mum is in trouble." Jia Li said to him as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Jia Li, your parents are fine. If you are worried about them, I will call them for you." Grandfather Fu said to her as he sat on the chair the Butler brought close to the bed for him.
"Where is your mother?." Grandfather Fu asked Fu Hua.
"She went to get Jia Li's phone." Fu Hua replied.
Quickly, Fu Hee walked in with Fu Hua's phone.
"I found your mother's contact." Fu Hee said to her.
"Fu Hee, take over from Fu Hua." Grandfather Fu instructed and immediately the mother and so exchanged roles.
"Dial her mother's number." Grandfather Fu said to Fu Hua who was now with Jia Li's phone.
Grandfather Fu was deeply worried and knew that for Jia Li to be in this state, something serious has happened back home.
He knew Fu Hee's character very well, so he had to switch roles.
In case if something bad really happened, She wouldn't be able to handle the situation and might end up blurting the news out without much consideration.
Fu Hua would be in a better position to make the call.
Fu Hua dialed the contact 'Mum ??' on Jia Li's phone. After the long ring, no one answered the call.
He dialed the number two more times, and the result remained the same.
"What happened?." Grandfather Fu asked while Jia Li watched in a tense manner.
"No one is answering the call." Fu Hua announced.
"Maybe she is at work. Try Mr. Qin's line." Grandfather Fu instructed just before Jia Li could mention her father.
