Chapter 646 Avoiding Jasmine

"Sister-in-law, do you mind coming shopping with me? Like, I need your help" FangSu said with a sweet smile. She wanted Jia Li to help pick the perfect outfit for her.

"You want me to be your stylist?" Jia Li asked smiling back at her.

FangSu nodded, "Yes, I trust your fas.h.i.+on sense a lot, so I hope you would help me get ready for my boyfriend's party."

"That's no problem, give me twenty minutes to get ready." Jia Li said before taking the steps.

It was an easy task helping FangSu out for the party. She was happy to be entrusted to be her stylist.

Soon, Jia Li got ready to leave her bedroom after getting dressed, and she almost ran into Jasmine who was running towards her.

"Mummy, are you going out?" Jasmine asked with her gaze on her. Seeing her mother dressed not so casually, prompted her to ask that question.

The little girl was observant and was able to tell when someone was dressed to go out after seeing their outfits.

"No, I'm going to see your daddy, do you know where he is?" Jia Li asked with a warm smile.

How could Jia Li tell her that she was going out? It's not like she wanted to hear, 'Mummy I want to follow you!'

Jasmine pointed behind her saying, "In the study. Mummy, let's go there together." As Jasmine said that, she took her mother's hand and pulled her towards Fu Hua's study.

When Fu Hua saw Jia Li dressed up with her bag, he opened his mouth and was about to ask the same question Jasmine had asked her earlier, but Jia Li shushed him on time.

"Darling, can you keep an eye on Jasmine, while I pick out some outfits for FangSu?" Jia Li asked.

This way, Jia Li has already told Fu Hua where she was going to, while at the same time, she made it look like she was going to FangSu's bedroom.

"Sure" Fu Hua said with a smile before glancing back at the little girl and asking her to come to his side before she could ask if she can follow her mother.

"Princess, come and help daddy pick some materials."

Since her father had called her for something more interesting, Jasmine left her mother's side and ran to his side.

Once the little girl was sitting on his thighs Fu Hua waved at Jia Li, signaling her to leave. Happily, Jia Li left the study and rushed downstairs to where FangSu has been waiting for her.

"Sister Meixu is not coming with us?" Jia Li asked as they walked out of the house.

"She is not around. Since she introduced Mr. s.h.i.+ formally to the family, she has been very busy going on dates and with her schedule as well. Also, don't forget that she has a penthouse." FangSu said with a naughty smile.

"She has a penthouse?" Jia Li asked with a little surprise. She didn't seem to know that Meixu had an apartment somewhere.

FangSu unlocked her car and got into the driver's seat, with Jia Li getting into the front pa.s.senger seat.

"I can't believe you didn't know. The penthouse is like her escape zone. When she is tired of seeing our faces in this house, she retires there." FangSu said with a soft chuckle.

Jia Li smiled, "If I didn't know you that well, I would have believed you. You really have a way with words."

When the duo got to the high-end store, they were taken to the VIP section. FangSu had already booked the place for 3 hours, so the two of them can relax and make choices without being worried about time, and people.

"Get me all of FJ's collections from last year, including my sister-in-law's collection," FangSu said to the attendant before turning to wink at Jia Li who shook her head with a smile.

Soon, tea and snacks were brought for them, along with the collections FangSu asked for.

"Sister-in-law, the clothes are here, please come quickly and help me pick two different outfits," FangSu said while clapping her hands excitedly.

"What kind of birthday party are you going to? Where is the location?" Jia Li asked.

"A club," FangSu replied immediately.

"My collections won't be good for that kind of party, so leave it aside." Jia Li said as she got to her feet and walked towards the clothing racks that were wheeled into the room.

"There is no problem, I can just pick one from your collection as my second outfit," FangSu said with a smile.

Since Jia Li's clothing launch, she has only gotten one of the outfits from her collection, and she planned to get another one so she can wear it to a conference she had outside the country by next month.

Jia Li didn't take that much time before she picked some clothes for her, and while doing that she asked some questions.

"What kind of makeup will you be putting on, have you made our choices yet?"

"Show me the hairstyle for the party."

With her reply, Jia Li was able to pick five clothes for her to try on.

"Try them on, let's see which one best suits you."

Each outfit FangSu tried on, was paired with a bag and a shoe, and so, it took over an hour for her to try everything on, before going to join Jia Li on the sofa.

After downing a cup of tea, FangSu said to Jia Li who was watching with a smile, "Which outfit do you think suits me more?"

"Let's see" Jia Li said while going through the picture one of the attendants helped FangSu to take.

After a minute contemplation, Jia Li picked one for her.

"What a relief," FangSu said with a sigh of relief.

At the end of their shopping, FangSu who said she only wanted two outfits, ended up picking two more from the FJ collection.

What could Jia Li say to her? Absolutely, nothing.

From the high-end store, FangSu dragged Jia Li to go pick out some jewelry, before going to the spa.

"You know it will take us almost 2-3 hours to get out of here?" Jia Li asked when they stepped foot into the spa house.
