Chapter 638 J-mine Clothing Line Launch

Because FangSu canceled her birthday plans, Bai Jun did not find a way to carry out her agenda, so it was postponed.

In the second week of December, Jia Li launched her clothing line. It was indeed a big event, attended by prominent men and women who received the invitation.

On that day, Jia Li was dressed in one of FJ's iconic dresses which she designed. Fu Hua got the dress for her, especially for the event.

Little Jasmine was dressed in a pink-flowered ball gown for toddlers. The little girl looked like a princess which she truly was.

Jia Li and Fu Hua left early for the event, while the rest of the Fu family members arrived later in convoy.

FangSu and Meixu were modeling for Jia Li's new collections, so they also left for the event's location on time with their respective agencies.

The invitation card given out could admit two people at a time, some guests came with their partners and friends.

The people from the Zhang family were present for this event. Since Meixu had not officially introduced s.h.i.+ Qiao to the family, it was a given that his family wouldn't be seen at the event, unless a personal relations.h.i.+p has been established between both families or a business relations.h.i.+p.

Notwithstanding this, Meixu invited s.h.i.+ Qiao for the event, and he came for it.

During the event, Jia Li was called to the stage twice to give a speech. The first, was her telling them her story and how she was inspired to create her clothing line.

The way Jia Li was introduced, caused heads to turn. She was called the young talented fas.h.i.+on designer of their generation, and also the wife to the CEO of FJ Styles.

Jia Li was a bit embarra.s.sed by the way she was introduced. She felt exceptionally shy when the camera focused on her, and her face appeared on the screen.

"Do you want me to give the speech on your behalf?" Fu Hua whispered with a teasing smile.

"Forget it" Because they were being watched by their guests, Jia Li did not delay for another second before getting off her seat and walking to the stage as applauds came from the guests.

On stage, Jia Li took the microphone, and just then, Jasmine who was with her grandparents turned her gaze to the stage after Fu Hee told her to look over there.

Seeing her mother on stage, Jasmine's eyes lit up and she immediately called out to her, "Mummy!!" Her voice was clear as the weather in spring, attracting the attention of some of the guests who heard her voice.

At that point Jia Li took the microphone, she seemed to have heard the clear tiny voice of her little girl, and she turned to wave at the little girl, who in turn waved back at her.

This little action didn't go unnoticed by the guests. The camera immediately s.h.i.+fted focus from the other important guests in the crowd to the little bun who was excited to see her mother on stage.

Fu Hua couldn't help smiling at the cute interaction between the mother and daughter. The guests, couldn't help smiling as well.

After acknowledging her daughter, Jia Li began to speak through the microphone. She first started by thanking her husband for insisting that she started achieving her dreams before the years runs out.

Next, she went on to talk about how she got interested in fas.h.i.+on and designing, and the support she received from her parents while growing up, to actualizing her dreams with Fu Hua's support.

From her story, they knew that Jia Li had indeed come a long way.

The next time Jia Li climbed up the stage, she gave a vote of thanks alongside Fu Hua. Jia Li thanked the Fu family for their support, and also the team in FJ who helped her to prepare for today.

This event was packed with different kinds of entertainment like a runway show, singing, dancing, and a short play.

The guests for this event were entertained by arts, food, and drinks. There was nothing to regret about it.

Watching the models in J-mine collections as they walked on the runway, the styles picked the guests' interest. The styles were slightly different from Jia Li's usual ways, so it was interesting to watch.

Jia Li indeed worked hard for her clothing line and coupled with the growth she received from working as a designer in FJ for 3 years, her work looked more spectacular.

Before the end of the event, every piece of clothing that was launched was all sold out, and those who wanted to buy had to place a preorder for it.

Jia Li's clothing line launch was a huge success.

From the event place back to the house, the Fu family continued with the celebration. That same night, the details of the event, appeared in the news.

The third week of December, FJ Styles held their end of the year workers dinner, where most of them were rewarded and awarded. Of course, Jia Li was amongst the designers to receive the best newcomer award.

On Christmas Day, the Fu family celebrated it in full swing. This year, Fu Juan wasn't present, and she had called to say she wouldn't join them in the celebration.

On that same day, Meixu announced that she had a boyfriend, and she was going to introduce him after New Year's celebration.

If it had been before, Grandfather Fu would have been moved, but he was not anymore. He glanced at all his grandchildren and said, "All of you are saying now, and I think it's time you start settling down one after the order. I will never allow at of you to date someone for more than 3 years."

Grandfather Fu didn't accept the notion that one had to date for a long time before getting married. 3 years was already too long for him, but he just had to fix it as the maximum number for dating.

Meixu glanced at FangSu and said with a smile, "FangSu, I think you should be the first to get married, given that you started dating before any of us."
