Chapter 603 - Guang Bo

Chapter 603 Guang Bo

The Guang family didn't reply to the Huang family's letter because of the anger and humiliation from so many years ago.

There was no time to follow protocols by waiting for them to approve of their visit, so, the Huang family embarked on a journey to visit their home.

Having gotten to their gates, they were denied entrance by their security team.

"Mr. Guang, we are sorry, but our Master said that you are not allowed to enter this premises." One of the guards said in an apologetic tone.

Old Mr. Huang was not moved because he knew the animosity between them would amount to this.

"Put a call through to him, I have an important matter that needs his attention." Old Mr. Huang said to them.

The guards agreed to his request and one of them put a call through the intercom, before pa.s.sing his message.

Mr. Guang was very mean. He later allowed the Huang family in after keeping them waiting at the gates for over 30 minutes.

The Huang family came for something very important, so even if they were offended, they couldn't do anything about it.

After being ushered into the sitting room, they waited for over 10 minutes before Old Mr. Guang walked out with an arrogant expression sitting on his face.

"What have you come to do in my place after so many years?" Old Mr. Guang asked as he took a seat, while two servants walked out to serve water to them.

Without wasting time, Old Mr. Hang spoke up with his gaze on him. "My family and I offended you in the past, and we have apologized so many times, which you refused to accept. We understand, so we do not hold any grudges against you. Recently, we learned about a very disturbing matter."

Old Mr. Guang listened without saying anything, but his facial expression showed how displeased he was for the grudge against them to be pointed out.

"My daughter, Huang Li, and her husband died about 5 years ago, but we only found out a year ago, because their daughter didn't know about our existence, until we coincidentally saw her on TV, and traced her to her hometown before carrying out some investigation which showed that she is truly my granddaughter."

Old Mr. Guang was still patiently waiting for Old Mr. Huang to arrive at the point of his story because he refused to understand what important matter he was talking about.

If his daughter and son-in-law died, what has that got to do with him? If he found his granddaughter, how did it concern him and his family?

"But something disturbing happened. Yesterday we found out that the man Li married is not the biological father of their daughter We have thought things through and I arrived at this point where I had to come and confirm from your son, Bo if he had a deeper relations.h.i.+p with Li before she left home I plead with you not to be offended, we just need some clarifications on this matter."

"Why won't I be offended?! After the shame and embarra.s.sment your daughter caused my family so many years ago after eloping with another few days to her engagement with my son, 25 years later, you walk through my doors to come and ask this silly question! If your granddaughter is not the biological daughter of her father, what has he got to do with my family, and my son?!"

Old Mr. Guang was so angry that he was literally shouting on top of his voice, and some of his family members had to come out to check that everything was alright.

Mr. Huang's first son decided to speak up. "Sir, we didn't mean to offend you, we only need to speak with Guang Bo because this is a serious issue for our family. The only people Li was close to at that time, was your son, Bo, and Mr. Qin whom she eventually married. We only want to speak with him to confirm some things. If my sister other husband were still alive, they would have answered this question for us, but unfortunately, they died unjustly."

Mr. Guang was not willing to make things easier for them. He kept accusing them of looking for whose family to wreck. He even made an annoying statement saying, that why didn't they go to the streets to look for the biological father of their granddaughter instead of coming to his home.

His words offended them greatly and Old Mrs. Huang could not sit still. She said to Mr. Guang, "Mr. Guang, we came here to plead with you, and to ask for your help, and not for you to speak ill of our late daughter in our presence. No matter how angry you are with us because of the past you shouldn't talk to us that way."

"I have every right to say whatever I want. This is my house, and you all begged to enter it, so why can't you endure the heat?" Old Mr. Guang asked while pointing at them.

"Mr. Guang, we indeed begged for your audience, not to be insulted, but to see for help. We came to see Guang Bo, as we believe that he should know something about my sister's secret." The third daughter of the Huang family said as she met his gaze.

"You lot have overstayed your welcome. Guang Bo is not around, and I hope you will not c.o.ke looking for me again. You are no longer welcomed here." Old Mr. Guang said and got to his feet, but as he turned to walk away, someone walked in, in steady steps while pulling a piece of luggage along.

The person that walked in, seemed to be who the Huang family was looking for because they all seemed surprised and at the same time, relieved to see him.

Guang Bo was surprised to see the Huang family in his family's sitting room, because the last he confirmed, they were not on good terms.

Guang Bo walked in and handed his luggage to a servant to take to his bedroom, while he walked towards the direction his father and the Huang family were, to greet them.
