Chapter 549 - The Little Girl's Honest Responses

Right now, Jasmine was sitting on the bed with her water bottle while Fu Hua was trying to pack her hair in two ponytails after combing it.

The only thing Jasmine did was to sit there obediently while her father tried to tidy up her hair.

Fu Hua was being so gentle so as not to hurt the little girl and at the end, the hair he packed for her looked funny.

"Good, you look cuter now." Fu Hua said with a proud smile and his hands on his waist as he admired his handiwork.

Jasmine reached out with her short arms to touch her hair while staring at her father. Fu Hua noticed that she was interested in seeing her new looks, so he picked up his phone and turned on the camera.

"Jasmine look over here and say, 'sweet'."

With the way he positioned his phone, the little girl knew he wanted to take photos of her, so she posed and obediently said 'sweet' and Fu Hua snapped away.

After taking a few photos, Fu Hua smiled proudly and walked to her side to show the photos to her. "Here you go."

When Jasmine saw how ugly her hair looked, she scrunched up her nose and glanced at her father. "Ugly!" She said with an unhappy tone.

"What! How is your hair ugly? Princess, Daddy did his best to make your hair look this good and you said it's ugly?" Fu Hua said in surprise.

Jia Li laughed out loud with her gaze on the father and daughter. Her daughter's hair indeed looked funny when she saw it. No wonder Jasmine said her hair was ugly.

"What's funny?" Fu Hua asked Jia Li with a frown. He didn't seem to be happy that his handwork was laughed at.

"I can't believe the CEO of FJ can't style his daughter's hair." Jia Li said. She really enjoyed making fun of him.

Jasmine who was still annoyed with her funny hairstyle immediately turned to her mother and said while pointing at her hair, "Mummy, my hair!"

"What do you want me to do?" Jia Li asked while staring at her with a smile.

Jasmine didn't know how to reply to her, so she picked up the comb her father had used to comb her hair and showed it to her mother.

"You want me to help you with your hair?" Jia Li asked while sitting up on the couch and the little girl nodded with furrowed brows.

Stretching her hands towards her, Jia Li asked her to come over.

Jasmine was too small to come down from the bed, so she glanced at her father to ask for help. Fu Hua was unwilling to help her after she said the hair he styled for her was ugly.

Jasmine seemed impatient as she called out to him, "Daddy!"

"Darling, don't tell me you're jealous." Jia Li said from the side.

It was inevitable for Fu Hua to be jealous after his goodwill was called, 'ugly' by his little princess. At last, he relented and carried the little girl down from the bed.

Immediately her little bare feet touched the floor, she ran to her mother with the comb in her hand.

Jia Li immediately lifted the little girl to sit on the couch as she loosened the hairband when she approached her.

After her hair was repacked in two bunnies, Fu Hua took some shots of her and posted them on his official social media handles.

He posted the picture of Jasmine in the hair he styled for her, alongside the style Jia Li made for her with the caption: "I did my best to make her hair less painful while packing it for her but she called it ugly at the end and ran to her mother to get her hair restyled. My heart is broken."

Fu Hua tagged Jia Li in that post and before she could see his message and reply to it, there were already thousands of likes and comments under his post.

Many people commented how cute Jasmine was and her funny actions.

In the second picture Fu Hua posted, Jia Li could be seen holding the little girl in her bosom. Jia Li looked especially beautiful in her casual outfit and they were first noticed by a few people before others began to make comments about her.

Later when Jia Li saw the post Fu Hua tagged her to, she commented.

"Learn to style your daughter's hair the same way you design those amazing outfits at work."

Immediately, Jia Li's comments made it to the Top charts. So many people reposted her comment to Fu Hua's post.

Back in their bedroom, Fu Hua was still playing with the little girl after she got over the ugly hair he styled for her.

"Jasmine say, I love mummy." Fu Hua said to the little girl.

"I yuv Mummy!" Jasmine said happily. It looks like she was very happy to confess her love for her mother.

"Say, I love Daddy." Fu Hua said to her.

"I yuv Daddy!" Jasmine said and clapped her hands.

Fu Hua smiled and said to her again, "Kiss Daddy."

Surprisingly, the little girl refused. "No!" She said while shaking her head in a negative affirmation.

"Why?" Fu Hua asked in surprise. "No." The little girl replied stubbornly.

At last, when Jia Li went over and asked the little girl for a kiss, she happily kissed her cheeks much to her father's envy.

It looks like the little girl still bore a grudge against her father.
