The second task given to the newbies was a question and answer section, which was taken over by their supervisors. The last task given was to sketch a dress with the theme, 'Black Beauty'. They didn't need to make the dress, the sketch was enough to judge.

The best sketches would be produced into the outfit by FJ's creative department and released along with other designs.

24 hours were given to the newbies to think of any design of their choice and sketch it. That was more than enough time for them to come up with something unique.

Two weeks later, which was close to the end of March, judgment was passed, and the results were announced. It was with delight that the 15 people that passed, were taken to dinner by Sunny and the other two assistant creative directors to celebrate their winnings.

Bai Jun and the other 4 people that didn't make it, were put on probation and demoted. They wouldn't be given any major work, or join their colleagues to partake in the upcoming Autumn Fashion Show.

All Bai Jun had, were tears to shed. After the results were announced, and she found out that she didn't get up to 50%, she ran to the restroom to cry and phone her mother to complain.

"Jun, how could they do this to you? I know you are talented and would have easily made it, but this is so unfair!." Bai Fen said in an angry tone.

As if telling her mother that she didn't pass the tests, Bai Jun went on to reveal to her how she has been mistreated by her colleagues at work, and at home by her so-called husband who doesn't even speak to her.

Bai Fen was almost going berserk. She couldn't believe that her daughter has been suffering so much for several weeks, and she didn't say anything to her.

"...Jun, I can't tolerate you going through so much. Get a divorce, resign from FJ, and one back home. I can't allow my only child to continue suffering even for a second."

"Mum, I've come this far, I can't do that. I didn't come to FJ just so I can quit after 2 months. I just feel so pained that Brother Hua doesn't look at me. It's hard to see him. Since I came to FJ, I have only seen him thrice, and not even a moment did I get a chance to speak to him." Bai Jun said in a tired tone as she used her other hand to wipe her tears.

Bai Fen was silent for a while before saying in a more gentle tone, "Jun, you are my child, and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you. Take your mind off Fu Hua, he is not worth it anymore. I don't want you to continue to suffer in FJ and the Yang family. You are still young, and you have a bright future ahead of you. But this will not stop you from getting revenge from everybody that brought you pain."

"Mum, no matter what you say, I won't leave Brother Hua and FJ. I have lost so many things because of him, so it's too late to quit. I don't have any friends anymore, my reputation keeps going down the drain. Mum, don't worry about me, I will be fine, and I promise to get my revenge!." Bai Jun promised.

Seeing how she has suffered a lot, and there was no progress, was the more reason she couldn't give up. She couldn't accept losing so much because of Fu Hua, and then give up just like that, at least not without a fight.

When Bai Jun came out of the restroom, her eyes were red from crying, and everyone who saw the results knew the reason. Out of the 5 people that were on probation, Bai Jun was the only one her colleagues didn't comfort.

Now that Jasmine was 8 months, Jia Li was already telling the little bun that she would stop breastfeeding her soon.

"Jasmine, you have to quit this before you turn a year old. Do you hear me?." Jia Li said to the little bun that was hugging her boob all to herself.

Jasmine just gazed at her and sucked as quickly as possible. She kind of understood what her mother was saying, but she didn't agree with her.

"If you don't stop soon, I will let your father eat all your food." Jia Li threatened. Because of Jasmine, Fu Hua doesn't suck on Jia Li's boobs that much, since he was considering his daughter. So, Jia Li wanted to stop breastfeeding soon, so Fu Hua could have full access to her.

Jia Li wouldn't dare to say this in Fu Hua's presence, because that would look weird to her. Currently, she was trying to cut down the number of times she breastfed the little bun in a day.

At least, she would breastfeed her in the morning before leaving for work, and in the evening, and the middle of the night.

As for her bottle of milk, she was still giving it to her but planned to cut down on it so she could introduce more other baby foods to her.

Jasmine didn't care about what her mother was saying. She even babbled while the nipple was in her mouth, and raised her hand to touch her mother's face.

Taking a good look at her daughter's facial features, a smile appeared on her face as she leaned in to kiss the little bun's forehead.

"Why are you so cute? When I look at you, I don't have the heart to scold you. Okay, just be obedient and know when to stop, I won't force you to quit, but mama is going to get very busy with work soon."

Jasmine giggled after she released her mouth from her nipple. It looked like the little bun was satisfied.

Jia Li made sure she burped, before putting her in a sitting position, so she could play with her toys.

This was the mother and daughter time, so Jia Li was spending time also with the little bun. She talked to her about colors and the toys. It didn't matter if the little bun was paying attention or not, Jia Li did what she was supposed to do.

What made Jia Li speechless was the little bun, abandoning her toys and crawling to go look for something more exciting. This made Jia Li become more attentive and follow her everywhere.
