While they were getting ready for work, Fu Hua was still sulking like a child because Jia Li pinched him. Seeing how childish he looked, Jia Li chuckled softly and asked, "Why are you sulking like a child?."

"You pinched me." Fu Hua replied in a childish tone as he went on to take off his pajamas.

"Does it still hurt?." Jia Li asked as she glanced at nipples that had already turned red.

"It still hurts." Fu Hua replied with a pitiful gaze on her. Jia Li took pity on him and decided to cheer him up.

She licked his nipples with her cool tongue before looking up at him with a smile. 'This should be fine."

"You don't want to leave for work on time?." Fu Hua asked as he held her hands and brought her to his embrace.

"Since I started working in FJ, I have never been late to work. Wash up and get dressed, I will give you a treat after work." Jia Li said with a wink.

"I will be anticipating." Fu Hua said with a smile.

Knowing that Fu Hua liked to see her hair down, Jia Li purposely let her long silky black ink hair down. She put a beautiful hairpin by the right side of her hair and looked satisfied after she glanced at herself in the mirror.

Today, she put extra care while dressing up, because she wanted to look good as it was Fu Hua's birthday.

When Fu Hua saw her looking so beautiful, he smiled proudly and hugged her from behind. "You look so gorgeous."

"I know, thank you!." Jia Li said to him.

"I'm leaving now, I have an important meeting with someone before going to the office, so see you later." Fu Hua said as he kissed her cheeks.

"Mmm... see you." Jia Li replied with a smile.

When Fu Hua left her sight, she picked up her phone to call Zimo. "Is everything ready on that end?."

"Yes Ma'am," Zimo replied in an excited tone. It felt so nice to surprise his Boss, and he couldn't wait to see what his reaction will be.

Before leaving the house, Jia Li reminded Fu Hee about the event planner she got.

"I know, go to work already and stop worrying about it, I will take care of everything." Fu Hee said with a smile.

Jia Li was worried because she wanted her plans to be perfect to celebrate her husband, so she couldn't help but act up.

After getting her mother-in-law's assurance, Jia Li agreed to leave for work.

Bai Jun who thought hard about what to gift Fu Hua for his birthday slept very later after successfully making a purchase and paying for the delivery.

Right before laying on the couch to sleep, she set an alarm with her phone, so she can wake up early the next morning to prepare for work, but Yang Peng was very irritated by the alarm that disturbed his sleep, that he woke and angrily walked towards the couch.

Yang Peng canceled the alarm and went into the bathroom. When he finished getting ready for work, he picked up his phone and his work bag and left the bedroom.

Immediately he closed the door with a loud thud, Bai Jun felt disturbed in her sleep and frowned as she slowly opened her eyes. Picking up her phone to check the time, she screamed in shock and immediately got off the bed and ran into the bathroom to take a quick shower and get dressed for work.

Bai Jun did all these while cursing. She was sure that she set an arm before sleeping, and now she was wondering the reason she didn't hear it ring.

After getting dressed in a hurry, Bai Jun applied a bright red lipstick before taking her bag with her and leaving the bedroom.

Bai Jun did not bother to have breakfast when her mother-in-law called out for her, and it's not like she always joined them, so she wouldn't join them now that she was running late to work, after all, none of them bothered to check up on her when they didn't see her by the usual time.

Yang Peng had already left for work when Bai Jun cane out of the bedroom. Whether he canceled the alarm on purpose or because it disturbed him, only he could tell.

"Do you think they are quarreling?." Mrs. Yang asked her husband with a deep frown.

Glancing up at her, Mr. Yang said, "This is not the first time they are acting like this. In short, since they got married, they have been acting indifferently towards each other."

"Don't you think this is bothersome, don't you think I should talk to them?." Mrs. Yang asked with a frown. It was not a good thing to learn that her son and daughter-in-law were having silent issues just after they got married, so she was deeply worried.

"Don't rush things, you can talk to them at different times." Mr. Yang advised, and Mrs. Yan accepted it.

When Fu Hua was done with his meeting, he came to FJ with Zimo. Walking into the building, his staff greeted him cheerfully and wished him a happy birthday.

Fu Hua smiled slightly and walked past them. The only thing he was thinking about, was his wife's promise to him before he left the house.

When he got to the door of his office, he put his fingerprint and the door unlocked. Pushing it open, he got the most shocking surprise of his life.

His office was fully decorated with birthday stuff. "What is going on here?." He asked as he stepped into his office. He was still wowed by the surprise.

Zimo who was following behind him asked with a grin, "Sir, do you like it? Ma'am made all the arrangements to surprise you."

"My wife did all these and she didn't say anything to me at home?." Fu Hua asked while taking a good look at his office. There was a big cake on his desk and a bouquet with a bottle of champagne as so many other interesting things.

The office was decorated with blue and black balloons, and rose petals.. And there were also unopened boxes of gifts given to Fu Hua.
