Chapter 310 - Zhi Ruo Gets Physical

The next thing everyone saw was Zhi Ruo pushing Fu Meixu to the floor and going on to slap her face.

"You bitch! How dare you act so smug and mighty!" Zhi Ruo screamed angrily. She wanted to kick Fu Meixu but her assistant pulled her away.

Right, when she turned to push her assistant away she saw a familiar figure running towards them with a worried gaze.

Shi Qiao saw what happened and immediately rushed over with Fu Meixu's assistant. He had a worried gaze as he called out to Fu Meixu.

Fu Meixu didn't have to pretend anymore. Zhi Ruo's slap was painful and the impact she got from being pushed to the floor caused some scratches and bleeding.

Her face squeezed in pain as she held her elbow to glance at it.

The bystanders let out gasps of shock, they were not expecting Zhi Ruo to be so violent. In no time, more people started gathering around.

"Meixu, are you okay? Can you stand up?" Zhi Qiao asked with worry when he saw the red imprint caused by his girlfriend's palms.

When Fu Meixu's assistant came over and saw the bruises and that mark on her face, she became so angry and turned to glance at Zhi Ruo.

"How can you hit her face and inflict injuries on her?! Do you know how much that was spent to make her skin soft and smooth?!"

"Are you mad! How dare you raise your voice at me?!" Zhi Ruo asked angrily. She couldn't believe that a little assistant dared to talk to her so boldly.

The little assistant's words were a reminder to the others that knew about the huge gig Fu Meixu landed 2 weeks ago. They knew she landed a huge job for a popular brand of the best skin products, so since then, she has been looking so good because her skin was well taken care of and a few of them knew, she got insurance for her health and skin.

What was going through their mind right now was that Zhi Ruo was in big trouble. She even dared to violate one of the company's rules of getting physical with a colleague. It was clear that she was in for a deep shit and if Fu Meixu decides to sue her, she would lose more than half of everything she took her life to build.

Fu Meixu screamed in pain as Shi Qiao helped her to her feet. Right now, her left cheek was red and swollen.

Shi Qiao glanced at Zhi Ruo angrily and scolded her on the spot.

"How could you act without manners! Is this your true colors?!"

Zhi Ruo couldn't believe her dearest boyfriend was holding another woman and was lashing out at her.

"Why are you scolding me?! You care about another woman but you treat me like I don't exist!" Zhi Ruo said angrily.

"You don't feel you're wrong, right? That's fine. I am used to you acting like this but I can't tolerate the fact that you hit an innocent person." Shi Qiao said.

Fu Meixu let tears down her eyes and wriggled out of Shi Qiao's hold and her assistant and another bystander who was a junior immediately came over to hold her.

"What innocent person? You mean this bitch that tried to snatch you from me?!" Zhi Ruo cursed. Her assistant wanted to disappear already. Zhi Ruo couldn't control herself and she was going to be in big trouble for it.

"Enough! I have had enough of your madness! Meixu is innocent and I don't have that kind of relationship with her! She is my good friend and my customer. Why don't you ask questions before you do anything? You're so unreasonable!" Shi Qiao said while pointing at her.

"What! You scold me in public because of that shameless woman!" Zhi Ruo said angrily. She still wanted to go over and hit Fu Meixu after she caught a glimpse of the smug look on her face before it vanished but Shi Qiao blocked her path.

"What is going on here?!" An angry male voice sounded at the end of the hall.

Those who were recording stopped in fright when they saw their angry-looking director with a few managers standing behind him.

About 30 minutes later Fu Meixu, Zhi Ruo and Shi Qiao were sitting in the office of the director with their managers present.

There was a furious gaze directed at Zhi Ruo from the director.

Fu Meixu and Shi Qiao had just finished explaining what happened in the hallway and Zhi Ruo was to blame. She tried to defend herself but it was useless. Her arguments were baseless.

"Zhi Ruo, do you know your offense? You violated one of the company's rules by hitting your colleague in the company and you caused a huge scene out there! Not only that, do you know the huge trouble you are in? Do you know how much insurance was paid for Meixu's skin and health? Do you how much that was spent on the skincare treatments she has been receiving for over 2 weeks and you just had to ruin everything in one day?!" Their Agency's director asked angrily.

Fu Meixu was currently getting a face aid done by a skincare doctor that was called over immediately.

"Do you know the damages you've caused because of the delay in the ads that Meixu was to shoot in 3 days? Can you pay for it?" The director asked while pointing at her.

Zhi Ruo couldn't believe the kind of trouble she got in. She had no idea that Fu Meixu got such a huge offer by a big company that dealt with skincare products. If she knew about the insurance she got for her health and body just to run some shoots, she would have thought twice before thinking of laying her hands on her.

"Director, I'm sorry for my actions! I will apologize to her." Zhi Ruo said as she bit her lips.

"Do you think everything will end with only an apology? I am not about to lose a good sum of money because of your stupid actions." The director said as he hit his table with his palms.. He was so angry about how much that would be needed to make things right.
