Chapter 228 - Why Did You Bring These Type Of Panties?

Fu Hua had Jia Li in mind when he chose Berkeley Springs for their Valentine's Day getaway.

Couples could enjoy the decadent sensation of soaking in the water of the warm springs of Berkely Springs, a natural spa that has been around so long that George Washington bathed there.

In Berkeley Springs which is located in California, USA, Couples can share a Roman bath, a 4-foot deep tiled tub in a private bathing chamber at the State Park's lovely bathhouse.

The night before Jia Li and Fu Hua left for California, Fu Hua helped Jia Li to pack thick clothes for their 3 days stay there, as the weather over there will be very cold.

Early in the morning of the next day, they left for California in a private jet. They were not alone, as there were soldiers with them for protection.

Jia Li felt bad leaving Ocean alone but there was nothing she could do since Fu Hua didn't let her take her with them.

Inside the private jet on their way to California, there were so many foods and healthy snacks for Jia Li and Fu Hua to eat and especially Jia Li, since she was pregnant and had a good appetite.

Fu Hua brought some books for her, so she wouldn't be bored to death. All Jia Li did before they got to California was to eat, sleep, read books and converse with Fu Hua, who still had work to do on his laptop.

When they both arrived in California, they lodged in the hotel's private suit they booked before coming.

Jia Li was amazed at how huge and beautiful their suit was but she was not moved by it because she was now used to luxury.

While arranging their clothes in the closet, Fu Hua picked up Jia Li's panties and held them with his two fingers, and asked with a frown, "Why did you bring this type of panties?"

Jia Li saw her cotton panties in his hands and immediately went over and snatched them from him.

"What kind of panties were you expecting me to bring?" Jia Li asked. She was the one that packed her inner-wear.

"You should have brought something sexy and hot." Fu Hua complained.

Jia Li's face turned red in a blush. She thought that Fu Hua was always thinking of doing bad things to her, what a shameless husband!

"The doctor said I should wear cotton panties and clothes to be comfortable during my pregnancy." Jia Li explained and put away her inner-wear.

Fu Hua nodded in understanding and didn't bring up the topic again. He agreed that his wife should receive the best treatment while pregnant, as her body would be very sensitive.

"Do you want to eat or sleep first?" Fu Hua asked her after arranging their clothes in the wardrobe.

"I will take a short nap before eating." Jia Li replied as she walked towards the bedroom.

"Okay, sleep then. When you wake up, tell me what you would like to eat." Fu Hua said as he accompanied her to the room and helped her cover her legs with the duvet.

After that, Fu Hua went to shower before taking his laptop and leaving for the sitting room.

When Jia Li woke up, she placed her food order before going to bathe, by the time she was through, her food order had already arrived. You need to see the joy on her face when she saw the table of dishes.

Jia Li ate to her satisfaction before taking her drugs. She felt so full that she disturbed Fu Hua for a night walk.

"It's already past 7 PM, are you sure about that?" Fu Hua asked.

Jia Li nodded as she pulled his arm. Fu Hua sighed and abandoned his work and went into the room to get more protective clothes for her.

He helped her to put them on, before holding her hand and leading her outside.

Because it was too chilly outside, Fu Hua didn't let her stay past 20 minutes, before taking her back inside their room.

Jia Li had a satisfactory smile when they returned to their room. It was such a lovely atmosphere outside, seeing couples holding hands and kissing.

The next day which was the 14th of February, Fu Hua brought breakfast in bed for Jia Li. He fed her with his hands and Jia Li wondered the reason for the early morning sweetness.

"Are we celebrating something today?" Jia Li asked as she ate the food in the spoon brought to her mouth.

"Today is 14th." Fu Hua said as he blew on the food before sending it inside her mouth.

"Oh." Jia Li replied as she finally got the message. Today was Valentine's Day, so he was acting extra sweet towards her.

After eating to her satisfaction, Fu Hua set the bath for her and she went in to have a warm bath. She felt so refreshed when she got out of the bath.

She put on the clothes Fu Hua arranged for her, before going to the sitting room to wait for him to shower and come out, so they could go out together as per his arrangement.

Fu Hua took Jia Li to a beauty spa. He was concerned about her and asked the attendants to take good care of her and to take note of the beauty products they would be using on her since she was pregnant.

It would be bad if the wrong cream was applied to her skin since it was very sensitive during this period.

At first, Fu Hua didn't want to get a spa treatment but Jia Li convinced him to get one and he relented. The two enjoyed a body massage before they left that place.

Fu Hua took her out for lunch, before taking her shopping.

"Why do we need to get more clothes, I already have enough clothes in my box." Jia Li reminded him.

"We are going on a date this evening, so I have to get you something new." Fu Hua responded with a smile.

Jia Li could only agree with him and let him drag her to the boutique to choose some clothes for them both.. After that, Fu Hua took her to have her hair and makeup done.
