Chapter 175 - Fu Leis Threat

The next day while grandfather Fu was still working on the promise he made for his family after breakfast, Fu Lei come home, surprising everybody.

His sudden visit surprised Grandfather Fu who didn't get a message from him.

Straight from the entrance, Fu Lei walked straight to his bedroom to find Fu Hee.

Fu Hee was sitting in front of the mirror and applying a red lipstick ???? on her lips when someone opened the door and walked in.

Glancing up and seeing her husband who had disappeared for quite a long time, she looked surprised.

She smiled and got up to get him. "You're back? How come you didn't say anything before coming back?." She asked as she gazed at him.

"Do I now need your permission to come back to my house?." Fu Lei asked angrily.

Fu Hee was surprised by his outburst and took some steps back. "Why are you getting angry when you have only come back? I was only concerned that you didn't say anything to me."

"Do you still have the heart to be concerned about anybody apart from yourself?." Fu Lei asked while pointing fingers at her.

"Fu Lei, did I offend you or something? Why are you so angry with me?." Fu Hee asked with a frown, as she didn't understand the reason her husband who had been away for a long time, just came back and started to pour aggression on her.

"Why are you so good at pretending? I heard you tried to harm a child of the Fu family, you really have guts now." Fu Lei said furiously while pointing to her face. He felt like hitting her, but he couldn't bring himself to do that.

Fu Hee was so scared when she heard him mention killing a child of the Fu family, and he looked as if he was about to hit her.

"I didn't do anything! Did father call you because of it? You know father is so biased when it comes to matter concerning Jia Li. It was a mistake, I put radish on Jia Li's plate without knowing it wasn't healthy for her in her current condition. I didn't mean any harm." Fu Hee lied with a pleading gaze.

She was very scared of her husband whenever he was angry.

"Are you trying to lie to me? Do you think Hua will call me to accuse you of what you did not do? Do you take me for a fool? How can you not be aware of what food a pregnant woman should avoid?." Fu Lei asked as he took few steps towards her.

Fu Hee was alarmed and immediately took several steps back till her back hit the mirror stand. "Fu Lei can you not be so scary? Do you want to hit me?."

"Are you still worried about yourself? You can not even show remorse for your actions! So you actually dared to harm a child of the Fu family, your son's child, and our grandchild?." Fu Lei question as he stopped in his steps.

Fu Hee knew that there was no point in lying anymore because Fu Lei was ready to hit her if she continued lying.

Since they have been married, he has never laid his hands on her because he promised not to. But with the way things were going, it was very possible that he had forgotten about that promise, and will end up hitting her.

Since things had come to this, Fu Hee decided to come out clean and apologize. She knelt and pleaded with Fu Lei.

"Fu Lei, I'm so sorry about what happened, I don't know what came over me, I promise it wouldn't happen again!."

"It wouldn't happen again? Of course, you shouldn't dare to think about harming Jia Li or the child she is carrying if you don't want to go back to your family to stay forever." Fu Lei said to her.

He was ready to divorce her and send her back to her family if she tries to commit any atrocity. He was tired of her madness. Since he couldn't hit her, he would find a better way to give her heavy punishment.

Hearing his threat, Fu Hee became more frightened. "Fu Lei, things haven't come to this. How can you think of sending me back to my family, do you eat me to be laughed at and made fun of by my family?." Fu Hee asked as tears threatened to drop from her eyes.

"If you have truly repented, you shouldn't be worried about the punishment, but it looks like I have said so much to you and you failed to understand some things. Tomorrow, pack your things and go back to your Fang family." Fu Lei said to her in rage and then turned to leave, but Fu Hee immediately clutched his legs.

"Fu Lei, you can't do this to me, I was only asking a question, please don't send me back to my father's house!." Fu Hee cried as she hugged Fu Lei's leg.

"What are you doing? Let go of my leg!." Fu Lei said as he tried to release his leg from her grasp, but Fu Hee was holding unto it tightly. She was determined not to let go.

"No!, Fu Lei, I'm sorry, I promise to change, please don't do this to me! I... I promise to be good to Jia Li, I will not try to harm her child again!" Fu Hee pleaded as tears fell from the corner of her eyes.

She knew her husband always meant his words. How can you go back to the Fang family after being married for such a long time? She will be a joke if she was sent packing.
